As much as I loved Lorna, I totally get where this guy is coming from. Can't imagine being followed someone who is delusional and can't accept reality.
As much as I want to defend Lorna because she's genuinely a good but naive person I can't Christopher's right there is something wrong with her
She’s insane.
@@kathconservEven Nicky told her about herself 😭
@@ARaebow exactly💯
There is something wrong with her. She's mentally ill. But like so many others, she doesn't get the treatment and care that she needs, so this poor man ends up the victim of a mentally unstable stalker. Our country's mental health system is so flawed and broken. Not to mention the so-called justice system, as well. I'm not saying that Lorna isn't guilty of a crime, because she is, but there are also a lot of systemic issues that make these situations worse.
I don;t understand why her sister gave her his address. She was at the court hearing, she knows that Morello completely made up their relationship. Surley she would have known it wasn't a good idea
Maybe she thought he could finally make her understand?
She did let her kids teeth on packs of cigs…
People don’t think she needed to be in jail, instead they think she should have been appointed some mental healthcare. Lorna is dangerous. She won’t stop, her delusions are deep, she’s a liar, doesn’t care about hurting people for her agenda and showed no signs of stopping even with jail time. People want to slap her on the wrist because she’s cute and nice. Her intentions seem so endearing, if she wasn’t those things people wouldn’t be so understanding
I agree. It's easy to have a soft spot for her, but her crimes were pretty vicious. She's not inherently evil, but she definitely can't be out walking around. It's safer for everyone, herself included, that she's in custody.
Exactly. Had the roles been reversed or had she not been a cute, " White Woman!" People wouldn't be so quick to play her off! She is literally dangerous not cute at all.
Maybe they believe mental help could help her.
Lorna seems to have got away with so much honestly.
She plays a Natural Australian ♥️
how so?
@@SaundersBoyShe is in a minimum security prison for putting a bomb under Christopher’s car. She got away with breaking into his home. Got away with getting a group of men to hospitalise him
@@Lilyanna298 It doesn't actually speak about that she got away with so much. It speaks to the fact that she got thrown in the wrong place (a prison instead of a psych ward where she could get actual help)
@@alialmakhmari9294you can check yourself out of a mental health facility. She is dangerous and obviously won’t stop. If it wasn’t him it would be someone else and what if she killed him as a result of the beating or the bomb? She doesn’t care about hurting people to any extent. She definitely needed to be in jail AS WELL AS some help for her mental health. Luckily she’ll get both in the psych ward in jail.
I never understood why an inmate who was in prison for stalking someone and who had once planted a car bomb was given the job of driving the prison van. They wouldn't put an inmate guilty of arson to work in the kitchen, so why would they put someone like Lorna in a position where she could be outside of the prison at any time?! Assign that job to an inmate who was in on an involuntary manslaughter charge, or for drug possession. Assign an inmate who does not have an obsession with someone on the outside. If I were in Christopher's position, I would be beyond livid and terrified to find out that my stalker, who I thought was safely locked away in prison, was regularly driving around the state in a van, whether they managed to find me again or not!
2:00 It's truly the best acted scene by Morello in the entire show, it's so authentic
She's a fantastic actress
at 2 minutes I agree. At 1:08 it looks ridiculous
I can personally identify and emphasize with Lorna in this scene, it's a terrible feeling to realize that you are mentally irreparably broken.
Great actress. She does a great accent as Lorna as she is actually Australian
I thought the same thing…and Natasha’s great, too.
i think it’s very important that we can still feel bad for someone while also recognizing they’re in the wrong, i loved lorna so much the whole show but i always knew that what she did was bad and i did feel bad for christopher even if i did want to be mad at him while i was younger lmaooo
Yael Stone is definitely an incredible actress. Her portrayal of Lorna Morello is amazing and her character is my favorite of the series.
It is sad what happens to her in the end of the series.
And a great accent as she is actually Australian
I really feel bad for lorna. She seems to have bpd or something. She isnt really in control of her impulses. I think she suffers the most to her crazy.
yep I have bpd and she really reminds me of me, i go utterly crazy about people I cannot stop thinking about them, im scared I'll worsen and do the things she does
She made a bomb to kill Christopher though, I think that goes beyond impulse control. She's dangerous and belongs in prison, no matter how sweet her personality, she's seriously deranged.
@@WillowJordan1979 I think some kind of mental hospital would be far more suited to her needs. Same for Warren
I feel bad for Lorna and think she deserves help, but BPD doesn't cause paranoid delusions like this. It's something else.
@@Nyxthebat04 Maybe she has more problems, I don't know how severe BPD, but it certainly can make you very paranoid
I love that guard, she might have done some questionable things but that was O.D
People feel bad for Lorna, but if anything I feel bad for Christopher. If the gender roles were reversed and he was the stalker, nobody would feel bad for him
Apples and oranges. So anybody that watched the show likely felt bad for Christopher, but he was a minor character you only see a few times. Lorna was a regular character you got to know and could empathize with her even though she did terrible things. She clearly had deep mental health issues that affected her poor decisions and needed more help than she ever got. If Christopher was the stalker and the series was focused on him as one of the main characters with a background and more of a story you may actually feel empathy for him as well. Did you empathize with Tony Soprano at times? I sure did, but he also did terrible things. He killed people, stole from people and beat up women as well. We felt bad for the women he hit, but they were only seen a few episodes really and did not have nearly as much character development as Tony. I keep reading the same comment and this is me looking at it objectively. To make it clear, Lorna did some terrible things and there is no excuse for them, however you see why she did them(which does not excuse her actions). People also clearly loved the performance of the actress Yael Stone. She was excellent. Thank you kindly.
i just think we can feel bad for someone yet also recognize they are in the wrong, and/or also feel bad for both parties tho one is in the wrong
Welcome to Orange is the New Black. It's an amazing show followed by, and sometimes even written by, intensely militant feminists.
It's sick how people feel bad for Lorna. Lorna terrorized this man and his family. Yes, Lorna clearly has some mental issues but we see moments in the series where she has moments of clarity and realizes the fairytale in her head isn't real. She knows deep down her behaviour isn't rational but she continues to terrorize Christopher. I can't feel bad for her.
It’s not sick. Think about House of Cards, Breaking Bad and The sopranos. Al lot of despicable characters but audiences emphasize with them but we see good in them from fleshed out writing.
You have to understand that not a single soul on this planet is black or white. She did horrible things but if you look at her in season 7 and still say that she can think rationally then idk what to tell you. She needed help by professionals and didn’t get it. That’s not her fault.
It's hilarious how you read these comments defending the nuance to her character. 10000% these people would be angrily writing anti-men comments if the characters genders were reversed.
She’s easily a fatal attraction type of person lol
She’s shouldn’t break in his house his feelings are valid
Yeah duh lmao
When Christopher and Vinny left her Nik was there to pick up the pieces
She's one of my favourite characters 😍
That's so sad 🥺 She needs serious mental health care.
I like that Nicki didn't look down on her after she was exposed beyond belief. Yeah, Lorna unfortunately is sick & delusional and belongs there (for a while at least) but Nicki realizes what a good friend she is and treats her that way.
Their relationship makes me believe in love again 😢😭🙏
????
@@hyunlixxie2662 lmaooooo
@@hyunlixxie2662 She is joking lol
powerful scene
Lorna deserved this
I feel sad for Lorna in 0:30 and 0:45 😢
lorna is god
I dont understand how hes allowed to visit her when shes in jail for stalking him
I love her accent
The actress is Australian.
A guy was trying to talk to my Teenage daughter for a while recently. She’s 13 and I found out even tho he said he was 16 he’s actually 19. I am always reminded of this scene when I think about him. He would show up randomly at my home knocking on her window or he’d get a new phone number to text her off that I hadn’t blocked yet. I tried to chalk it up to teenage hormones until I had to call the cops one night when my daughter woke me up telling me he was trying to get into her window. I found out he just turned 19 and had a previous arrest for stalking and sexual assault on a minor. These psychos are so dangerous. As much as I love Lorna she’s so incredibly insane and her story worries me some one just like that is going to be obsessed with one of my kids.
He looked really realy bad in that vision board sweater as well. Just horrible . Vinne would never have worn that ugly crap nor would nicki .
0:20
1:08 Lorna throws herself at the wall??
No she tripped on her chair
I am lorna❤
. . Wifey.
Poor girl.
how?
@@hyunlixxie2662 He made her cry for doing nothing practically.
@@Thunder_Dome45 she did break in to his house while she was supposed to be waiting in the parking lot of the hospital
@@belladejaneiro Oh that's just some harmless stalking. It's a sign of love.
@@Thunder_Dome45 And she tried to kill him. Not harmless at all
he was so cruel to her
Nahhh she’s delusional. She’s a stalker, his emotions are valid
No he had a reason to be mad
She’s literally a stalker
Going into prison and threatening to kill her was a little overboard....
She literally stalked him, vandalized his home, threatened and attacked his girlfriend & placed a homemade explosive device on his car. He’s supposed to be nice to her? 😑😑😑
Literally swap the roles
Have Lorna being a man stalking the woman and being completely obsessed after one date the sympathy card wouldn’t be there
Shes straight up loony
joe goldberg. except he stalks people after a simple conversation. it's worse than after a date. at least Christopher is alive.
