As the videos keep coming I'm noticing a pattern with anecdotes with girls, and as a Pokémon player who can't stop going out with girls I'm seeing myself reflected Keep it up!
I would imagine that the 6v6 singles community has gotten older because people who got into it when they were younger in like the late 2000s/early 2010s either stopped at some point or kept playing, and the ones who kept playing are raising the mean. As time goes the older players are getting older, but the youngest new players are around the same age (probably like 10-14 I'd imagine). Also I think that young competitive players are funneling into VGC doubles more than 6v6 singles nowadays, so that's also probably a part of it with respect to the 6v6 singles community. I don't really have hard data to support this, just a speculative argument. E: I saw you responded to somebody else about this lol.

If he didn’t get that 2nd drop, it would have been a 25% drop rate off of a 40% chance… And no one wants to talk about the Clef just praying for misses, no drops, and no crits? Controversy should have never existed. Players were absolutely nuts back in the day.
From an outside perspective the whole thing is silly / childish, happy it occurs less now. It boils down to people getting butthurt over basic game mechanics as usual while yelling "HAX" or such
