Yep, REAL women with massive passion and talent making their mark on the world. So much love and respect, with a sadness that music like this has been replaced by electronic garbage, in a world where auto-tune replaces talent.
Heart is one of the very few good memories I have of the 80's. They are as good today as ever. This video is a testament to that. To those of us that swim in the ocean the song Barracuda carries meaning that can't be explained to those who don't.

I'm well aware that the Barracuda in the song is metaphoric (I hope that word wasn't too big for you). But for those of us who have met real barracudas, swam with killer whales, and had up close and personal conversations with sea lions, the song can have a special meaning. Probably in the same way that the song "I know what boys like" means more to you than it does to me.

These Wilson girls and their band have been driving me nearly insane since '77 or so. This is a great video of them with a lot of my favorite stuff better than ever. It's severe punk. Also folky and soft some too.

Heart, what can you say. The best Zeppelin cover band ever, Rock and Roll Hall of Famers (I saw them get inducted in LA with RUSH in 2013) and they have if not the best, then right there, the best female voice in history with Ann Wilson.

I saw this band in the ‘80’s at MLG inTO. One of the best shows I have ever seen. Just straight up rock and roll, no glitz and glam, no processed sound. Just like having them in your living room. Anne has always had a set of pipes like no one else. These ladies still got it going on today. Such a rarity. Love it.

This is super fabulous video and audio of one of my favorite bands, Heart. I saw them live in Hollywood about a year ago and they were awesome but this video of the same stuff from somewhere else is even better, as a video. There's really no substitute for seeing them in person even though they didn't play as well as this that particular time.

Might be stupid but I know there songs for years (I'm from '78) but I just really discovered them. Especially the tribute to led Zeppelin makes everything clear. There so underestimated and have such a big influence.. If only they would do a gig in the Netherlands... Thinking about traveling to the US to meet them.
