I remember my step dad came home with this record when it came out...I was in 6th or 7th grade. Mom hated it and step dad thought it was great. I loved it as well. It's clearly a mid 70's rock n roll album. It flat kicks ass and I still listen to it on a regular basis. It has stood the test of time.
It took me a long time, and a lot of practice to get even close to Nancy's into to this 70's classic. But it was worth it - cause every time I begin that opening rythm in front a crowd - they all start smiling.
God I love these guys. I'm 62 and grew up with this gem. Seattle music was awesome back then and had some other gems as well through the years. So proud of my home state music.
Who thought A minor to F major could be so powerful. Would love to know the inspiration for the intro. Timeless. I saw them several times in the 80s. Excellent.
