He adored them, of course, and would end the teachings early and play the album on the school record player. Then he arranged to have the band play for an acoustic set (first unplugged?) in our band room as we all sat legs crossed on the floor with our mouths collectively agape. One of my best childhood memories.

When Page turned 80 that's when I realized that it was never going to happen. In retrospect, the fact that they didn't do a world tour following the 02 Arena gig in 2007 was a pretty good indicator that it was never going to happen.
Man the old rockers I know in portland always bring Heart up in the classic rock discussions just yesterday was talking at the bus station a out the Wilson sisters I went on about how they are " the female Zeppelin " not in a copycat way but they embodied the same energy at the same age of rock n roll blah then today I find thus what a treat thanks man ❤
Saw these gorgeous ladies 7th row in November of 1977 at the University of Georgia as they toured their Little Queen album. Beautiful then and even more beautiful today! Respect to Ann Wilson for continuing to lead the great band called Heart and equal respect for Nancy who a lot of times took second chair to Ann but who has proven she is an outstanding singer and guitarist...Kudos to the true LADIES OF ROCK!

And she is better and more magical than Annie .By far . But Hrart does a great job too .Less emotional , bit they sure can sing and play .
In my teens during the seventies, after Led Zeppelin themselves, my first bootlegs were concert recordings of Heart. These are incredible performances that have even more energy than those 1970s shows. Just phenomenal. Bravo, Nancy and Ann!!!
