This works so fucking good. I seriously cant believe that Sony didnt make this a feature. Man, this Vita has so much potential. If only Sony actually tried with it, they would probably be dominating the Switch.
THANK YOU SO MUCH MAN. After hacking my Vita, I was desperately looking for a way to stream my Vita to the computer. At the time I only found the one where you can stream to your computer via WiFi. While that was okay, I just didn't care for it since it didn't seem completely stable regardless of how good my internet is. Now that I've been patient enough, I happily saw this video in my subscription box and can finally stream it to OBS via the cables. Brings me back to when I could do that on the PSP via Remotejoylite. Now I'm more pumped and eager to get back into streaming and making videos more than ever. Again, thank you. Nice, work perfectly! They that have problem with audio noise: Go to settings Go to system Uncheck USB Power Supply USB will disconnect, so you need to unplug it and reconnect, restart OBS. If audio can not be herd but noise is goon: Just turn up the volume on VITA, turn of AVLS in settings-audio & display. That would fix most problems.
This thing actually works!!!There is a bit of lag,if there was an option to lower the resolution in the stream it might run a bit faster,I got a windows tablet connected to hdmi to my tv and from there I connected my psvita and it works fine,now all I need is a ps4 controller and I have a playstation switch xd!!!

The way I got around it was to use my TASCAM DR-05 mp3 recorder (which i've had for several years) and record audio separately and then add it on in the video editor. All you have to do is press the "start recording" in OBS and on the TASCAM at the same time. I use an audio splitter so I can plug in my earphones together with the audio cable to be able to hear the gameplay while recording. Sounds like a bit of extra work but it totally beats having to hold the vita in front of a camera. The TASCAM comes in handy also for recording gameplay from my S9 phone when someone else is in the room so that I don't have to worry about background audio being picked up. PS Vita 3.60 with Enso Windows 8.1 (64-bit)
@@a_star_official_ If you followed this guide. - try go to setting for the psvita drivers on the PC and reinstall standard drivers, that what I did and boom it worked. Might help one of you at least xD or there is another problem.

Bruh. All i did was use Auto Plugin and download the one there. Then OBS just instantly picked it up. Way easier. You could have made this vid 2 minutes long. lol
For anyone who has the "USB device not recognized" problem. My Vita was stuck reconnecting and disconnecting, giving me that message over and over again. My fix was to plug it into a USB 2.0 port, USB 3.0 does not seem to work. After switching ports it works perfectly
For those of you that can't see line out, if you have a splitter, plug it in, then go to audio settings in the settings app, then open up the sound control panel, then to sounds, and it still works if it shows up as a mic instead of line in (i have a laptop)

So I did this everything as said it ran smoothly and after the second reboot of the vita she boots up but shows a loading screen with the circle going on and in forever... :/
I found something if you have a microphone input, plug it and go to audio settings -> Microphone -> Double click on it -> Listen to this device and you'll be able to hear your psvita

Great video but I'm having some issues with it, I'm following the directions as instructed but when I get to OBS and type in "Ps Vita" my laptop's camera opens instead (using Windows 7 and can't access the "privacy settings" like on 8, 8.1 or 10). Any form of help would be much appreciated.
Connect ps vita to your pc via USB. Then do the process when your laptop camera shows up. You should choose Psvita. Make sure you installed plugin correctly or use an auto plugin app.
make sure to use the normal plugin, not the ones with lcd or oled support. Also disable usb power supply, make sure to edit the config text and save and restart, and also you can add the plugin in the ur0 folder if adding it in the ux0 folder does not work (sorry for the run-on).
When all looked well I noticed Line-IN icon doesn't pop up in my sounds,anything I could had done wrong? Maybe a normal audio jack won't do🤔 The easiest stuff 😂 Found out mine needs a 3.5 jack
I've found out if you disable USB Power Supply the noise will vanish, only downside of course is your Vita won't have a constant power supply being fed to it
I used to be able to record PSVita games near flawlessly, but something has happened since the last time I used it, and my OBS footage now frequently freezes. It's incredibly annoying. I know a small bandaid fix that works though. Right click the source, go into properties and deactivate it, then reactivate it immediately. When this method works, the footage will work without freezing for anywhere between 10 minutes to 2 seconds, and that's only when it works. I've tried recording PC games with OBS, and everything runs fine. I also noticed a little while ago when my problems began, I went into the PSVita source, and noticed that the Device option changed from "PSVita", to "USB Video Device" I also have the LOLIcon Overclocker installed. Maybe that's breaking something. I should probably check that out. If it is that, it'd be nice to have a little bit of compatibility between the two.

So I’m guessing Autoplugin wasn’t around 4yrs ago lol so I just installed this plugin via Autoplugin II and in config it has the skprx title with “off” in it. I’m guessing I just need too edit out the “off” from the title to get it too work? Then no need too mess with it anymore? Or I need to turn it back off when done using it?

Is there any way to play games while streaming to the pc like this but with the audio playing out of the vita itself as well? I'm trying to play games that I need to listen to audio queues for and listening out for them on pc has a delay, and plugging the vita audio into the pc with a cable cuts out the vita's audio.
I don't have the option to select "Sound" when I right click on the speaker icon. The options I have are; sound settings, open volume mixer, spatial sound (off), and troubleshoot sound problems. EDIT: I figured it out. You have to open sound settings, then click on the "Sound Control Panel" option on the right. Now "In-Line" doesn't appear, but progress has been made.
Im guessing you have a laptop too, same problem for me. Unfortunately, most laptops do not have line-in ports, only line out, or also called headphone jacks

@@juunsei10 ye i bought a usb sound card and it worked, used a splitter to connect in the mic port, sadly I hear a buzz and it increases once I use OBS, I ordered a ground loop isolator and it should arrive in a few days. Not sure if it will solve the buzz sound but I'll update once I try it.

PS Vita error code c4-13901-4 when connect USB to PC/ Android Box As the title mentioned, I ain't got any data transfer via USB (the cable) because the PC not even recognize (no sound or notification at all) when plugged in. Whether I was using Vitashell USB mode or Content Manager, it just the same. But the strangely my PS Vita was able to detect whether the USB is connected or not and the charging is ok. My PS Vita is PCH-1000 with Henkaku-Enso FW 3.60, using SD2VITA 512GB San Disk Micro SD card mounted via YAMT Lite plugin. Also got Sony Memory Card 8GB. I did: 1) Change different new USB cables (5 cables so far by various brands) 2) format the Sony Memory Card 3) Insert and remove the Sony Memory Card 4) reinstall Henkaku-Enso including Taihen 5) Shift between Storagemgr and YAMT Lite 6) Rebuild Database 7) Check the external side of charging port, seems ok, no bent pins. EVERYTHING ELSE IS WORKING FINE INCLUDING FTP MODE
So.... Im getting VERY LOUD buzzing noise instead of sound... I thought it is because my Vita is old and the Jack is broken, i connected my headset to it and it worked perfectly, then i thought it is because my 3.5 jack cord is broken, i went and bought a new one, same extremely loud buzzing noise, i though that is is the input on my pc, i unplug my mic that i use in 100% working input, and plug the Vita there, same result, extremely loud buzzing noise, i dont know what to do...

Does anyone else have audio static when the headphone jack is plugged in and OBS is open? When I close OBS I can still hear audio and it sounds perfect with no static but as soon as I open OBS the static comes on. It does go away if I remove the Vita source from OBS.

Could be that you have the "charge when connected to USB" setting turned on. Try to turn it off to see if it gets better.

I'm trying to play games that I need to listen to audio queues for and listening out for them on pc has a delay, and plugging the vita audio into the pc with a cable cuts out the vita's audio.
i tried finding the vita option in video capture device and it doesnt show up. all the things that show up are just my cameras. help?
Do I need to use OBS? Or can I use my Elgato Game Capture software?
My heaphone jack is not a line in. Can you help me?

hey there, what if I use a TRRS cable and connect it to a laptop with only one audio port, how am i going to listen to the sound of my game?
I don't have the option to select "Sound" when I right click on the speaker icon. The options I have are; sound settings, open volume mixer, spatial sound (off), and troubleshoot sound problems.
EDIT: I figured it out. You have to open sound settings, then click on the "Sound Control Panel" option on the right. Now "In-Line" doesn't appear, but progress has been made.
Im guessing you have a laptop too, same problem for me. Unfortunately, most laptops do not have line-in ports, only line out, or also called headphone jacks

tech james how comes it stops you from connecting to vita shell via usb once you do this i know you can use ftp but its quicker connecting via usb

@@juunsei10 ye i bought a usb sound card and it worked, used a splitter to connect in the mic port, sadly I hear a buzz and it increases once I use OBS, I ordered a ground loop isolator and it should arrive in a few days. Not sure if it will solve the buzz sound but I'll update once I try it.

I know the video is quite old but right now I cant test it but how can I get the vita sound to play over a discord stream? do I stream obs/streamlabs and the sound works or what should I do?
PS Vita error code c4-13901-4 when connect USB to PC/ Android Box
As the title mentioned, I ain't got any data transfer via USB (the cable) because the PC not even recognize (no sound or notification at all) when plugged in. Whether I was using Vitashell USB mode or Content Manager, it just the same. But the strangely my PS Vita was able to detect whether the USB is connected or not and the charging is ok.
My PS Vita is PCH-1000 with Henkaku-Enso FW 3.60, using SD2VITA 512GB San Disk Micro SD card mounted via YAMT Lite plugin. Also got Sony Memory Card 8GB.
I did:
1) Change different new USB cables (5 cables so far by various brands)
2) format the Sony Memory Card
3) Insert and remove the Sony Memory Card
4) reinstall Henkaku-Enso including Taihen
5) Shift between Storagemgr and YAMT Lite
6) Rebuild Database
7) Check the external side of charging port, seems ok, no bent pins.
EVERYTHING ELSE IS WORKING FINE INCLUDING FTP MODE

So.... Im getting VERY LOUD buzzing noise instead of sound... I thought it is because my Vita is old and the Jack is broken, i connected my headset to it and it worked perfectly, then i thought it is because my 3.5 jack cord is broken, i went and bought a new one, same extremely loud buzzing noise, i though that is is the input on my pc, i unplug my mic that i use in 100% working input, and plug the Vita there, same result, extremely loud buzzing noise, i dont know what to do...

so when I install the plugin on my vita show me a message about it is going to restart the storage or something like that, I will not lose my games or any info on my ps vita? last time I have tried did uninstall my themes and have delete some files
Does anyone else have audio static when the headphone jack is plugged in and OBS is open? When I close OBS I can still hear audio and it sounds perfect with no static but as soon as I open OBS the static comes on. It does go away if I remove the Vita source from OBS.
