LOLIcon or VSH is essential imo. A higher and/or stable framerate REALLY changes the gameplay experience.

@Savage If you are talking about LOLicon, it doesn't freeze adrenaline, it's that the menu is invisible! Just open the adrenaline menu and LoLicon menu will be visible again.
O'Clock Vita is a must for Adrenaline, not sure why but Vita in Adrenaline tends to run on max performance, just downclock it to 111mhz and you'll see big improvements on battery without any framerate problems.
Also light Vita games can be downclocked at 111mhz without any issue (or any major issues) on gameplay and framerate. Generally VN and non-indie 2d games works finely downclocked, though you may want to experiment.
So far I can confirm that Tales of Hearts R and UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH Exe:Late[st] works wonderfully at 111mhz. Danganronpa 1 and 2 works fine, though during explorations you'll notice some areas(far less in the first game) where framerate may drop a little, class trials works perfectly so donwnclocking is ok.
I can get at least 5 hours with a fully charged(from 100% to 20% battery) downclocked Vita.
I've followed all of your Vita tutorials, this is the perfect machine for emulation and games.

I had a PSP Grand History Knights japanese only game that had a english path, i just put the patch file zip in the same folder as the iso and it worked.

finally got myself the sd2vita so im going finally put the vita to some more use again
I recently bought a ps vita slim and soft case with the original charger for $100 off of Facebook, cleaned and updated it to 3.72, got custom firmware, downgraded to 3.61 tethered and am so happy with it, so far I’ve just gotten free shop and a psp emulator
Also I sold my switch
I also just got my ps2vita and 256 gn sd, I just haven’t set them up yet

My favorite plugin is: NoLockScreen V2 by TheOfficialFloW. Such a relief not to have to swipe the screen every time!
Totally useless. Just change the lock timer to be longer and let it do what it's designed to do. Why would you want it unlocked forever? What if you touch buttons unnecessarily or it always being on?

Ridiculous that Sony didn't make this a setting.
The auto volume limiter is more annoying.
And don't forget the screen brightness limiter on some games.

Love your work, just have a little problem after installing these plugins for some reason now it keeps restarting whenever I try to open them. Adrenaline still work and the original apps that come on vita.

But I got question when you go download stuff on pkgj is there way keep screen from diming when downloading PKGJ games ? Everytime my vita goes into rest mode i have turn back on my vita and download fails i have restart it ? I have 1000 model oled 3g. Thanks man . Keep up great videos .

James, your videos are great to follow along with, I just got a ps vita and hacked it today! I got the vitashell and the autoplugin plugin that updated to autoplugin 2 automatically, when I tried to download the battery percentage plugin and the one that lets you download files using the webrowser these ones are the only one that didn't get installed. When I was downloading the plugins, I could only select ur0: and not the ux0: is this because I haven't done the sd2vita mod yet? (I'm waiting for a usb thumb drive to come in the mail so I can connect it to my cpu and format the sd card)
or do I need to select something in the settings to allow to select the ux0: to download things to? I can see a ux0: file in the vitashell plugin...

Hey James, love your videos mate, I've been trying to upgrade my Sd2vita card from a 128gb to a 265gb without success, any tips? And mind you, I've followed almost every tutorial out there, to no avail 😒
format it like you usually do. then set hidden files to on in Windows. copy every single file over.
@@lolcat I did, and I even used that zzblank file to zero out the micro SD card, set the allocation to 64k, then format it, copying all the files, and I'm still having issues with it, It won't recognize it, I'm at a loss here 🙁

@@MrLeovaras75 Yes, thats the correct way! If it fails then in most cases it is because of a corrupt microsd card!
When I open my browser, it just brings up molecule. There’s no way out of it. Help
when opening browser, quickly hit the settings button on the lower right and clear the cache and history.

Check out vitadb on your pc web browser. Apps are there that can be installed... download one, copy it to ux0, then open vitashell and install vpk files from there.

You'll have to find an ftp app for iPad i guess... Or maybe connect the Vita with an OTG cable if that even works on Apple stuff

Carefull: download enabler works for a bit... But about 1-2 hours later all my applications crashes and it is just weird, I can't play games... I need to factory reset my PS Vita for it to work

Hi tech James. I downloaded all the plugins you said, then when my ps vita restarted my Trinity app disappeared. And now I can’t find it anywhere and download Henkaku. Have that happened to anyone? Any advices please?
Edit: I hard restarted my vita and did a “rebuild database”. That fixed the problem, and I got trinity back. Scary stuff

I’ve installed nosleep plugin but it’s still very annoying.

Rip. Try booting in safe mode and rebuilding database. Or hitting the restart option. More drastic measures can also be taken in safe mode. But dont try those yet.

@@soulreaper_17 Ok. You are gonna need to format your memory card then. Gonna have to remod your system. I had to do that. Luckily, all my games and save data were on my SD2VITA. Also, you wont need to do moduru again which is always nice. Go ahead and do that.

Hey James, first of all, thanks for the videos. I was able to hack my Vita back in January, and do all that good stuff.
Recently, I started playing FFTA with Retroarch, it was playable, but had it's slowdowns from time to time. I thought if updating Retroarch from 1.72 to 1.79 would yield me better emulators so I did it not thinking too much about the pathing. I read on a forum that people had luck just installing the newest update in VItashell right over the old update and it would be gravy.
But now the GBA emulators are unplayable and most of the SNES emus are too slow. Should I try and downgrade the build to before? Unfortunately I deleted the January update... any advice?
Update: I use mGBA to play GBA games for now.

Use ur0. Ux0 is mainly used for external memory you have on an SD2VITA like if you got a 64gb micro sd on it. I do recommend getting a SD2VITA with a card bigger than 32 if you really wanna get into PSVITA hacking.

I have a problem. I installed all of those plug ins and now my vita freezes and I cannot select any programs. All I can do is reboot. I think it's because I accidentally installed on the uro instead of uxo because I do have a sd2vita. Is there any way to reverse what I did? Also, how do I CHANGE paths? ur0 is constantly selected, but pressing the right or left triggers doesn't change it to ux0
Hi! I am not able to use the plugins. When installing the plugins from Autoplugin, the file is downloaded and the config.txt is modified but when I reboot, the plugin doesn't take effect. Like I installed Shellbat but it didn't work after restarting my Vita. Please help @TechJames.

Careful with one of these plugins! Not sure which one it was but was 100% due to installing one of these, my vita kept restarting itself whenever I would lock the screen after booting up trinity! After uninstalling all of them other than nondpdrm, refood and webenabler my Vita stopped restarting itself and was working normally again! The 3 plugins I kept installed are definitely safe
Everyytime I install repatch, my system reboots in sleep mode. It suck cuz I can't play my undub games

I couldn't believe how much easier the switch is to jailbreak compared to the Vita. The switch is now the ultimate emulation device. I just use Vita for Vita games only now.
And yet the Wii U emulators soooo much more then the switch. Lmao. Plus everything you can play on a modded switch you can play on a vita with the exception of maybe n64. Plus neither of those consoles cost me extra money to modify. Emulator machine maybe but ultimate is not a word I would use personally. Lol

@@Br0ccolini i had got annoyed with 3.73 asking to be installed googled read it was safe updated. Fucked up my vita. Then i doengraded to 3.65 shellbat worked but a 13 games dudnt work with refood. I got error c12823...... So i looked around turns out that error happens with 3.65. So i updated back to 3.73. Then dowgraded to 3.69. All my games work but shellbat doesnt. I should have just stayed on 3.72.

Lolicon plugin doesn't go well with adrenaline my vita freezes for a long time when i put it on sleep mode tried to reboot many times but it stucks at enso boot.
what i do is i eject my sd2vita and turn on my vita and uninstalled adrenaline and it goes bact to normal again..no more freezes during sleep mode.
@@mheafy777 no, i haven't said i fixed it what i said is how i reboot my vita back cuz when the error triggers you can't restart you vita because it freezes in enso boot like forever.
@@consumemission9788 Oh. I thought it's fixed after reinstall adrenaline. Luckily I still be able to boot normaly after adrenaline freezes. Well, I'll stick to o'clock vita then. Can't live without adrenaline, lol.
@@mheafy777 yeah it's a tough decision for me since i still had the original sony mmc, i love the o'clock option in lolicon and it's easy to use..still don't know what will i do with my sony mmc.
@@consumemission9788 You can try o'clock vita plugin. You need to change the clock speed eveytime you start a game (only couple seconds thing really). Because you can't save overclock profile per game, and no fps or battery stat option. It's minimal but do the job done although no 500mhz oc (444mhz good enough for me). And best thing is so far no crashes or freezes at all. (Just exclude adrenaline in config.txt).

Depends on which ofw version your vita has
If you don't have a hacked vita yet don't update if you're still on 3.73 and hack it, you can get online by spoofing
