Questions... can I use the same memory card for games and homebrew/emulators? What's the size limit of these cards? And can SD Cards be used with Adapters? (I heard Vita memory cards are expensive)
@@LennyQUMFIF hey man I don’t know a whole lot about vita home brew but I don’t see why you would not be able to use the SD2VITA adapter and a normal memory card together with varying content on both. To answer the other question you had, yes there is an adapter. As I have previously stated it’s called SD2VITA and Blaine here has a video on it. And for the audio use 3.5 cable male to male,if you have interference sound go to settings,system and turn off the USB Power Supply,remember that your vita won't be charging while playing so turn that option back on when you're done playing or recording.I heard about some say to use a special cable that doesn't let us hear interferences,you can search that in order to charge the vita while we playing in case we play for long long times.
I followed your video and it worked perfectly. No problems connecting and the Vita showing up on PC. My vita screen automatically goes dark, not sure why, and my audio plays from Vita itself. Tested latency by playing Kickbeat and its perfect. THanks!!!
I have a gamecraft speaker on my pc, (it connects bt/aux) so i connect it to my ps vita bluetooth. so maybe try with a bluetooth speaker or buy an aux cable to plug it on the pc to the vita that way you go to settings on the pc and select the exit of your audio to your speakers.
If you get a black screen and Vita not showing up. Open device manager on your pc and see what driver it detects. For me it was detecting as PSVita Type B USB driver. This is because you may have used vitashell usb connection. So reboot your vita, unplug your usb cord and plug it back in. That's it the vita should now show under cameras.
i guess for the audio, you need to use a 3.5mm cable, and a Y-splitter, if you want to use headphones or speakers, while doing the audio capture on the other side.
With this plugin its possible to stream from vita to chromecast. You just need a dock with power pass through, and a USB camera capture app that runs on the chromecast. Basically turns your vita into a pstv.
Works great. The only thing is I cannot get the audio. I connected using Blutooth and added an audio output option - found the Playstation Bluetooth speaker there and sound is playing on the vita through blutooth but can't hear anything or get any audio readings through obs.... any advice?
@@droidsamba9533 You can see at 6:09 on his screen it says Device: Ps vita. On my screen it didn't say "Ps Vita", but it said "integrated camera". You click on there and switch it from integrated camera to Ps vita. That worked for me. Hopefully it works for you.
Can't get it to work for some reason. Tried all the plugins OLED and LCD, but when I go into OBS and click add it won't show a screen. Just blue screen with a video recorder pic with a line through it. What am I doing wrong?

I cannot seem to make Vita appear in OBS at all. I am using a Windows 10 laptop and OBS always chooses to show the laptop's built-in webcam instead of the Vita. If I press Select in OpenShell to connect the Vita directly to the laptop, I cannot exit the OpenShell menu unless I deactivate the connection.
another quicker solution (for some, inc me) is to use FFPlay which comes with FFMPEG, simply type the following ffplay -f dshow -i "video=PSVita" -fs with the vita plugin active, and with ffmpeg/ffplay installed, this will output your vita fullscreen and for me at least is much quicker/less lag than using OBS.

I have two, one that is modded and one that is not, and I’m bout to get a third!! the one I am planning on getting is super nice and has over 100 PS1 games that you cannot get on the PKGJ store! as well as many emulators from Game Boy to Sega CD, super Nintendo, Nintendo, 64! It’s like Sony dropped the ball on the Vita on purpose and I still play mine to this day, as well as millions of other people do!!! It didn’t do well mainstream and that’s because the majority of people that buy video games these days are not “real gamers”-

There is. It is called Usb Camera by ShenYao China, it works on android phone and android tv. Disable the wifi before opening the app to prevent it from displaying ads
I followed every step, but when I've got it hooked up to the PC, all I get is an error "Device Descriptor Request Failed" as a driver error on Windows 10. Installed the OLED plugin (it's a first-gen Vita) otherwise it seems to be working properly on the Vita end. Is there some other plugin or setting that resolves this issue?
Vita error code c4-13901-4 when connect USB to PC/ Android Box As the title mentioned, I can't have any data transfer via USB (the cable) because the PC not even recognize (no sound or notification at all) when plugged in. Whether I was using Vitashell USB mode or Content Manager, it just the same. But the strangely my Vita was able to detect whether the USB is connected or not and the charging is ok. My Vita is PCH-1000 with Henkaku-Enso FW 3.60, using SD2VITA 512GB San Disk Micro SD card mounted via YAMT Lite plugin. Also got Sony Memory Card 8GB. I did: 1) Change different new USB cables (5 cables so far by various brands) 2) format the Sony Memory Card 3) Insert and remove the Sony Memory Card 4) reinstall Henkaku-Enso including Taihen 5) Shift between Storagemgr and YAMT Lite 6) Rebuild Database 7) Check the external side of charging port, seems ok, no bent pins. EVERYTHING ELSE IS WORKING FINE INCLUDING FTP MODE

Help me!! I followed and it didn't work, the first problem is VitaShell can't connect via USB to PS Vita 2000, the second problem is after installing the plugin "udcd_uvc by xerpi v1.7" the AutoPlugin software is faulty always and I have to delete it. Now I can't reinstall AutoPlugin because I can't connect to my PC anymore (problem 1).
I have a RPi 3B+ as vita dock and the video is quite smooth, I found the video a bit choppy using OBS. I have installed the plug-in that turns off the vita screen while connected to an external display and it's really a shame no one talks about it (I think only Mr rabbit game tv channel mentions it). Anyway, the real big lag for me was to use the Bluetooth controller, so I gave up using it. Nowadays I just connect the console to the monitor, the audio is output by a Bluetooth speaker and I use Vita as a wired controller to minimize lag. Works pretty well!

Does anyone know how to reconnect the PS Vita as a USB device on Windows 10 after doing this screen grab through OBS? Because now every time I connect my Vita to USB to my PC, it's only recognized as a webcam device (in Windows Settings, the PS Vita is shown with the webcam icon) when I only want to access the files as a USB device.

Hi.... I have problem my vita not being detected by PC (Windows 10) using USB, let alone as a camera device. No matter whether I was using Vitashell or QCMA, it seems that the USB connection from my vita is not being detected at all. No notification sound or whatsoever. I'll try to connect to android box (using the USB Camera app) but still no luck. I've tried using 2 new cable but nothing being detected. Not even a Windows sound (as when detecting an USB connection). It seems like the USB data transfer has been disabled/ dead. But my Vita still can charge. My Vita is 1000 model on 3.60 Enso using SD2VITA 512GB full games with 8GB original Sony memory card, working well. I bought it second hand. I have 3 charging cables, all for test, but with no avail. They can charge but nothing on data transfer. When I plugged the cable, there wasn't a notification/ loading icon. What is wrong then?
@@skanda2186 oh... I thought my Vita is already jailbroken because I'm on 3.60 ENSO and can play almost all backups/ games. But I did saw H-Encore bubble icon before I deleted it. My Vita is a used one I've bought from a stranger.
Not in the way that the video here shows. That's kind of an "AirPlay" type of feature and the Vita doesn't have any. native support for it. Would be really cool, though. Another option, however, is the PlayStation TV system, as it has native HDMI output built in and is a Vita in consoled form. It's a really cool setup.
When you are using the vita connected via usb to the pc or tv the power keeps charging the device even thought its already at the 100%?? is not bad to the battery of the console to actually keep recieving power even thought its fulled charged and at the same time discharging it using it being connected?

guys if you are on windows, make sure you go to privacy setting and enable the camera options and toggles in the settings, it fixed that for me

All of your videos recently have helped me mod my recently bought Vita 1000. Im going to make my Vita the ultimate handheld gaming machine!

If you haven't figured it out yet. I would try bluetooth. Get a BT receiver dongle if your desktop/laptop doesn't have it.

btw, you don't need OBS for this to work. I use any regular app that supports webcams. I'm using the webcam app that comes with Windows.

I had to go into the camera settings and disable my webcam that's built in to my laptop. Hope this helps!

Yep. It’s PS Vita USB to PC then PC HDMI to TV. I tried it with an old laptop running Linux.

just hold power button for 20 seconds and restart in safe mode and select rebuild database, then remove the plugin and try again.

I don't know what raspberry is but I just saw yesterday that someone made a tutorial on how to make a Vita dock with raspberry

Hi I wanted to watch a movie in my ps tv through web store on a website. But it states that this vudeo can't be played. Wherelse I can watch that in my phone. Is there any fix for it
Does anyone know how to reconnect the PS Vita as a USB device on Windows 10 after doing this screen grab through OBS? Because now every time I connect my Vita to USB to my PC, it's only recognized as a webcam device (in Windows Settings, the PS Vita is shown with the webcam icon) when I only want to access the files as a USB device.

or you can just get a raspberry pi board, and a few other things, and make a dock of sorts.
does a dualsense work with a vita? the only ps4 controller I have is a raiju te. Will definitely set this up if it does
Yes. A new plug-in for Autoplugin 2 let's you use Dualsense controllers.

I have problem my vita not being detected by PC (Windows 10) using USB, let alone as a camera device. No matter whether I was using Vitashell or QCMA, it seems that the USB connection from my vita is not being detected at all. No notification sound or whatsoever. I'll try to connect to android box (using the USB Camera app) but still no luck. I've tried using 2 new cable but nothing being detected.
Not even a Windows sound (as when detecting an USB connection). It seems like the USB data transfer has been disabled/ dead. But my Vita still can charge. My Vita is 1000 model on 3.60 Enso using SD2VITA 512GB full games with 8GB original Sony memory card, working well. I bought it second hand. I have 3 charging cables, all for test, but with no avail. They can charge but nothing on data transfer. When I plugged the cable, there wasn't a notification/ loading icon.
What is wrong then?
For the camera device issue, make sure you launch h-encore again after restarting to enable the Jailbreak. This made it work for me.
@@skanda2186 oh... I thought my Vita is already jailbroken because I'm on 3.60 ENSO and can play almost all backups/ games.
But I did saw H-Encore bubble icon before I deleted it. My Vita is a used one I've bought from a stranger.

Problem is you’d need something that takes signal from a USB camera and converts it to HDMI. Doubt anything exists ☹️

Not in the way that the video here shows. That's kind of an "AirPlay" type of feature and the Vita doesn't have any. native support for it. Would be really cool, though. Another option, however, is the PlayStation TV system, as it has native HDMI output built in and is a Vita in consoled form. It's a really cool setup.

When you are using the vita connected via usb to the pc or tv the power keeps charging the device even thought its already at the 100%?? is not bad to the battery of the console to actually keep recieving power even thought its fulled charged and at the same time discharging it using it being connected?
