      I test drove it, and to me it doesn't really have any value. You get less for less. It's far slower than an M340i, C43, S4 etc. Doesn't handle as well as those cars and somehow has less interior space despite being massive on the outside. Also a lot of the features it has aren't as well thought out (clumsy infotainment, ambient lighting only for front, ridiculous rear brace blocking pass-through with no obvious handling benefit) or completely absent (360 camera, HUD, heated rear seats).
      If I had to shop at this price point I'd just get a 330i M Sport or Giulia Ti.

      Nah Q50 can be had for similar or less money and while offering performance that is only really beat by the M340i, it's due for a redesign in a year or so
      and we can see what that TTV6 can actually do but the TLX Type S fails to impress in any real way.... IMO.

    • @mohammedawadud7238
      @mohammedawadud7238 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BigHeadClan the q50 😂 is that even a luxury sedan anymore, i don't thing they will redesign it especially since there focused on suv so it will probably be discontinued. To be honest the ltx is still miles better than q50, then the bmw m340i rules the segment with audi s3 and Mercedes c43 right on its tail. TLX and q50 are the weakest competiters. If you want real deal on a true performance car then the Cadillac ct5 v is it or a used audi s3.

      For the less than a hand full fan boys of Acurazine, this is an incredible high performance vehicle with SH-AWD and only puts down 285 wHP out of that over built 3.0T pushing 15 PSI. For the rest of us not living in delusional land, this vehicle isn't worth a pack of newports on a good day.

First of all congrats on being one of the few that understands how to use SHAWD properly. Another favorite channel of mine ahem - TH didn't. I completely agree with the infotainment being a mess, and I completely agree with it being a excellent daily, but no track car, and no I wouldn't compare it to 340/s4 etc as Acura would like us to believe. They marketed it as something it wasn't, but if you look at the car by itself, it is a great car. Yes, what were they thinking with the gauge cluster in 2021, and no HUD?!?!? Give us something. Sadly I think early adopters of this car will be shafted as I see a quick refresh coming with the missing features, and hopefully at least 25- 40 more HP.

    Don't forget, it's very heavy also.

    Acura's of the past are the real Acuras where performance, luxury and driving experience was at their best . This was also at a time where they ACTUALLY competed in their class. For the record, the 2004-2008 Acura TL was the BEST selling Acura to this day and is still one of the most respected and timeless classic. The Type-s badge meant something as did the type-r badge. Today, the Type-s means nothing to the loyal Acura fans. It's an over priced, under performing vehicle with Acura's Marketing team pushing out a ton of clever bullshit to make you believe this is a 4 door NSX and would stomp the competition. You know the precision crafted performance, less talk more drive with Jon Ikeda making statements as "we are a performance company 1st.." Well clearly that's false and false advertisement from Acura's marketing team.. With dealerships marking these up and corporate not stepping in to stop such bs, you know where this company stands. A once well known brand, on top of the world, fallen for the last 10+ years producing a bunch of economical shit boxes now filled with greed and Jon Ikeda is just a Muppet.
