I think it should be left to the Stig to decide.
Obviously the Caddy can't keep up in the quarter from a dig (See: Hellcat/GT500), but it's got less weight and better chassis dynamics than the big Germans (in a crazy turn of events). I'll be interested to read Car and Driver's annual Lightning Lap review (there at VIR) to see how it does compare on a big boy circuit.

We recently reviewed the 2021 Acura TLX Type S, a direct competitor of the CT5-V, and it doesn't seem to deliver the same level of soul-stirring enjoyment that the CT5-V does. That's partly because the Cadillac has 51 additional lb-ft of torque versus the Type S, but also because the Acura also feels heavier and less enthusiastic about in its movements...MotorTrend

    Hello,
Hope you are doing well. I want to buy a car but I have below factors -
I am in USA for max 3 more years so I have to resell it.
I mostly work from home so I need a car in which I can roam around in city or may be once a month on a long trip.
I do need car with more features than power.
My budget can range between 20 to 35 K depending on the car. Lesser the better. 😊
Please suggest me something as I am really getting confused what to buy in this uncertain market.
    Thank You

If you want something sporty with a good resell value, look at the VW Golf GTI. Subaru WRX, Hyundai Veloster... You sound like you want a dependable easy car to drive. If so, look at Hyundai, Honda, Toyota. They have a lot of features for the money. You want a lot of features. These luxury vehicles will "nickel and dime" you out of your price range. So I'd go for the manufacturers I said above. I don't know if you need a small car, or an SUV/CUV with more space, but I don't think you can go wrong focusing on those manufacturers and you can get a lot of features for the money... that is if you don't need a sporty car with a manual. But if so, and I think you can get most features on offer, can't go wrong with the VW Golf GTI (even the regular Golf), Subaru WRX, Hyundai Veloster Turbo... But if not. Stick to Honda Toyota Hyundai for a reliable, feature filled vehicle for the money.
