I prefer to be a realist. I think that's the best way to be. The problem with optimists is that they see positivity and everything except for negativity and there's a lot of good that can come out of negativity. In fact, negativity motivates me to go after my dreams lol because I wake up each day thinking that something horrible can happen so I have to get done as much as I can while I still can.
I guess it depends on how you define as success. Because the reality is, there's hardly a day that goes by where some of the most successful people in their respective fields aren't caught abusing substances or cheating or divorcing or attempting to commit or successfully committing suicide. I have found that the successful people are happy people and I think the happiest people are the ones who live authentically instead of living under the constant pressure to be happy all the time and never say the word no and never say the word but and just live in this Pollyanna universe.
Its so motivating, though there is so much of setback still overcoming it. The important think is "Keep the smile on" and positive mindset is will make a great person. Thank you for your talk
