An absolute beast. GMC is making the best looking trucks right now.
Hard to argue with that. Center stack layout is really nice. Also, the new canyon looks awesome, just to small if you want to put a family in it
I guess good to look at matters when you are broke down on the side of the road all the time
@@lycheeznuts never had mine break down after putting 200k miles on mine and pulling my camper nationwide . 9/10 ford owners I know have an oil leak problem .
Just don't take it off road. It will fall apart. I traded mine within 3 months due to due parts actually falling off. Bought a Ford. No issues yet.
@@plisskan74 Maybe you got a lemon? Mines been taking all the abuse I've thrown at it and it keeps begging for more. Nothing wrong with Fords though, excellent trucks as well, so enjoy it!
I just bought a new 3500 HD AT4 yesterday. This thing is a beast. Best looking truck going on right now.
I love that it still has a column shifter. I hate console shifters.
Right.
Trucks should not have a console shifter or even worse…that stupid knob.
@DH-hp7nv lookin at you ram 1500
I need 10 seconds to tell everyone something Good!
I care about you as a person, and tell you that
The scriptures tell us that Jesus Christ died for people's sins!
Whoever will have their faith in Him, that through Him, they'll be pardoned from the Judgement of their Sins by God, will be pardoned, and will be saved! Now, being a believer, once God does a work in your heart, marking you as His Own, will bring about fruits of repentance! And you will be reborn as a new creature! Walking by the Spirit and not by the flesh (the will of your sinful self) Amen and good day 😊
@tylerbuck9347 cool and all but what does that have to do with the truck we came to look at God is good but we came to see the beautiful at4 3500 not go to church
how 'bout crank down windows also? keep it classic for old schoolers
Ben hardy out here lookin like he’s straight from the 1800s and I’m all for it 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
I just got rid of a 2024 Chevrolet 2500 last Friday. It was in the shop way too much. GM has a lot of issues right now. The GMC loader the gave me was brand new still had the window sticker in it and it had issues. Back up camera didn’t work. The radio would just cut off when riding down the road and all of a sudden come back on. It would randomly go into neutral and you would have to coast to a stop and cut the truck off and restart it.
That’s a bummer. I’ve got a 24 AT4 HD - my 6th Dmax.
Absolutely zero issues since I picked it up last Oct.
@@mattie3595 my brother has a 2021 Duramax with the 10 speed no issues. The gasser I had was having transmission problems in the Allison. When I bought it I thought they were the same transmission. No so I found out.
@rhod8201 the issue you speak of upon it being delivered remind of the 2025 ram 1500 their having a lot of issues because stallantis is sobataging them on purpose you probably got your order built by people who give zero fucks about it it's a bummer really though that alarm that goes off when the power is on is one of the few things I do not like
Yes they are beautiful trucks. I’ve owned one now for 8 months (2024 GMC AT4). I wouldn’t recommend buying one. It’s been in the shop constantly with DEF issues, electrical issues, check engine light issues and goes into limp mode randomly. I work in the oil patch where lots of other coworkers have the same truck and the same problems. I really wanted to love this truck but it’s turning out to be unreliable junk.
Not to mention the recalls. I believe there has been 10 recalls so far too.
I’ve had my 2024 for about 8 months as well and the only recall I’ve seen is for the tailgate latch. I haven’t had a single problem with mine and have towed our travel trailer a dozen times. I feel like you’re exaggerating the number of recalls.
@@pnwdweler4100 I’m glad yours is working well for you. I can only share my personal experience and the experiences of other people I know that have the same truck and it has not been very good.
the 2024 GMC heavy duty's have terrible seats. They are like sitting on boards. They are nice looking...just not comfortable. I test drove one for 10 miles and said no way. My 2023 Ram Limited has far better seats. I get 24 mpg with the Cummins on the interstate and 21 mpg in town. When GMC can come up with better seats and better mileage I'd consider one.
I can't BELIEVE I'm saying this, but $80k for an AT4 3500 isn't bad
Most of us can't believe you're saying that.
We've accepted getting ripped off.
Must come down to reality.
@@branmichaluk445 I agree. In the grand scheme of where we're at, you can easily option out a Silverado 1500 for this price so I'm surprised to see a 3500 this "affordable"
Happy 4th. Best thing about this truck is that it's over 6000 lbs making it tax deductable.
It's definitely a great looking Truck. I would love to get one if it still had the extended cab. I wished that they would bring back the extended Cab
I believe they still do make the extended cab, just in lower trims
They have the double cab. Still 4 doors but shorter than the crew cab.
I think it's a nice looking truck from the front but I do not like the side profile because of the wheel wells they need to be expanded and rounded a little more. That squared look isn't for me , much prefer the Ford or Ram. Not enough tire clearance on GM trucks, plus I believe the front suspension on Ford and Ram is a heavier duty set up than the GM.
But it is a nice truck overall , not happy to hear about the recalls or electrical issues either.
Knocking the dust off the window to see the price is very 2024 of us... They just sit!
52k out the door 2024 ram 2500 tradesman towing package bigger screen. 6.4 hemi zf tranny best power train available. Have had many trucks over the years nothing comes close at that price point.
2024 GMC Sierra 3500HD Heavy-Duty AT4 6.6L Duramax Diesel Allison 10-Speed Automatic Crew Cab 4X4!
I cant afford one. But they are nice
Gmc the best
$80k is still out of reach for MOST Americans. Great truck, though. Pretty dang comfy, too, and tows like a beast! Rugged and luxurious: Rugurious??
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but this truck is actually less expensive than I thought it would be. I still can’t afford it, but it does offer a lot for its MSRP.
At least in the 2024 economy.
The Ford has more power. The Ford also has a larger rear floorboard area.
Ram also has more power
Ford is not as reliable . From what I see at the mechanic shops .
A rear floor board on the Ford that’s much higher so you have your knees in your chest. Extremely uncomfortable
Yeah but it’s a ford if is not the transmission it’s the engine that fail respect to Cummins great engines
But it shifts to 1st gear automatically no thank you
The Duramax has one flaw. The crank is pinned and doesn’t have a key way for the pulleys.
If I needed a heavy duty pick up this is the one I would buy
Sorry rather buy a used ram 3500 for about 55-65k Laramie longhorn with the Cummins and that’s the best interior for any truck
This is probably not the most practical truck for most people. Fuel would cost you a fortune, even though it’s diesel. The truck would be perfect for the construction site or large capacity towing but as an every day daily driver, I can’t see it.
My Jeep has the best position for my arm of any vehicle I've owned. Sucks that it is rock hard plastic.
But you'd keep buying Range Rovers, etc that keep "breaking down"?
LOL
Thanks for sharing comparison. I love the gmc look. #rustytractorguy
Finally, a 3500 and not a 2500.
Cruise control on mine sucks.
I'm really not impressed actually given what Tesla is doing with the Cybertruck...and still doing with the Cybertruck actually as wiring is to be dramatically improved. Suspension still looks "adequate" but hardly impressive. Compared to even Rivian this is not all that good although the Rivian charging system is turning into a disaster. I do agree for the price GM has made the best product writ large for some time now but I still would go for the F150 hybrid for now and wait on the 2025s.
In my opinion, inside of the ram is still better than the GMC
I agree
80K ???? Come on
These prices are like Biden's inflation: transitory. 😮
Agreed $80000 is ridiculous.
Yes I will buy the new gmc sierra I don't care what kind of Engine in it I will drive it
I still say that GMCs have always been built better than Chevy. For a 3500...this would be my choice too.
Is it better than a trx?
What about a ranger
Not comparable, two completely different segments.
If it were somewhat affordable this is the way I'd go....
Just awesome
Only a very intelligent person who recognizes quality would see $88k as a good buy for this example of proven reliability.
looks good, but in an old man truck kinda of way
Quality is still terrible judging from the comments.. GM can’t build n e thing right.
It's a hard no for me it's 40,000 overpriced.
You're crazy as hell. Maybe 10,000 overpriced 😂
Nope! Enjoy the recalls.
Enjoy roadside assistance in your mopar/ ford
@@ACVRG1😂😂
Ford King of recalls
Honestly they’re all a pos
Garage 👎👎🗑️🗑️🗑️💩💩💩
No thanks, too much Chinese ownership in GM for my taste.
You say that like Ford or Ram doesn’t have Chinese ownership
