  • I can FINALLY put the front grille back on. I've been driving around for weeks with no front end, looking like a chump. In this episode we make use of that AWESOME Warn ZEON Winch I had laying around, and get it mounted up securely to the truck. I also add some protection to the bottom of the radiator because that thing is just WAITING for a nice rock to shake hands with!

    I like it!!!! Everyone always just throws on a TG winch bumper or an ARB...custom fabbed is always better...no cookie cutter bullshit!!!

    Loving what I’m seeing! As you alluded to, wonder how long that IFS will last before the first break. Will you get tired of swapping CVS or dealing with a broken clamshell diff?

      @MechanicalAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I will get tired of it immediately! Haha but I’ll see how long I can go before that happens! Definitely taking a spare axle and ball joints with me on the trail.

      @@MechanicalAdventures all you should really need is 1 or 2 spare autozone/whatever parts store lifetime warranty cvs and the tools to pull them, it can be a 20 min trail fix. spare lower ball joints wouldn't hurt either

    Is there room to mount the winch lower and further back in the frame? Did you mount it that high for clearance on the trail? the hard wired controls are a no brainer.

      You could mount it lower if you wanted to, it starts to affect approach angle though. It is as far back as you can get with the a/c lines there.
