    What foods make you bloated? For me it's dairy, gluten, and added sugar! To debloat, I spend the next day drinking lots of water and filling up on lean protein, veggies, and fruits! Exercise helps too of course!

    Idk why but my stomach is flat in the morning, but as soon as I drink water or eat even a freakin grape, I look 4 months pregnant.

      Your stomach is mostly empty when you wake up in the morning, so it’s at its flattest and will start to round depending on the food :)

    I love that finally somebody speaks so clearly about weight loss, i eat super healthy BUT i´m super stressed out and i don´t get enough sleep, so for me this is a big issue and i have o change it in order to feel really good about my body beyond losing weight. It is just like you said "food should make you feel joy and good about yourself"

    Right now, I eat from smaller portions and wait every 5 hours to eat again. Then I do 10 minute exercises and that’s it.. I kinda saw results a few months ago and it made me feel happy

    I’ve been through the mistake of thinking I could eat as much food as I want as long as it was healthy. I was working out regularly but I was still not shedding off the weight. After much research through the years and with learning from my fitness peers, I learned that even though I ate healthy foods, excessive calories/ being on a caloric surplus is what leads to weight gain. To lose weight, one must be in a caloric deficit. Muscle gain is a different topic and that dives into macros and such.
    But YEAH. I’m so glad you said that “excessive calories + time = body fat”! 👍🏽❤️

      1) resting energy expenditure- when you’re body is breathing & circulating blood
      2) thermic effect of food- your body digesting, absorbing, & metabolizing food
      3) activity energy expenditure- i.e. exercising, walking, or doing chores
      If you supply your body fewer calories than it needs to support those 3 things, you put your body on a calorie deficit.”

    On top of being stressed out for many many months now, I’ve been dealing with bloating for 2+ years like every single thing I put into my body does that even WATER, whether I work out or not, sleep enough or not... and nothings ever made me more depressed because it’s literally every single day.

    I cannot tell you how much this video means to me, thank you so much. This video helped me a lot, I've followed you on other platforms before and was so surprised when I saw this video on yt. I've been struggling with bloating for my whole life but more recently have noticed it a lot more. I went to a gastroenterologist and got recommended a 'FODMAP' diet. So much of what you said tied into that and I can't wait to take some of your advice. I am so so so thankful I am for this video, I've never had it all laid out so simply before. This really felt empowering and lifted my spirits a lot, it's been very difficult and at times emotionally draining and overwhelming.

    One thing I learned over a decade ago is regarding digestion and using digestive enzymes to help break down the foods you eat and lessen the bloat. Also, if I eat something bad and get bloated I immediately chew 3 papaya enzyme tablets and within half an hour I have relief. Even eating real papaya can help with digestion.
    Food combining like eating fruits immediately after eating a meal can cause bloating. So knowing what to not eat together can help with bloating.

    I have crohn's disease and these are the things that bloat me:
    - Dairy things (lactose intolerance, so I gave it up unless it's lactose free)
    - cauliflower and broccoli
    - cabbage
    - Beans
    - When I eat a lot of gluten, especially ramen and pizza (my doc told me to minimize gluten).

      I also suffer with crohn's disease. I've thought about cutting gluten, has it helped you? My doctors have said it's from inflammation.

    I have been struggling for years along with lactose and gluten intolerance, IBS and a history of Celiac disease (and other medical conditions such as endometriosis) but what worked well for me was a low fodmad diet which was kindof addressed in the video, but best thing that helped with bloat for me was peppermint oil capsules (Spasmopep) it’s 100% peppermint oil. And also including more fibre in my diet especially for breakfast was a game changer for me🥰

    Thank you for mentioning the laxatives and stimulant teas. I was addicted to using those for ten years until it got so bad, I couldn't go without taking them every day. I'm three years+ not touching them now, but it was so easy to get addicted to using them. I feel not enough people are made aware just how dangerous laxatives can be.

    I love drinking Lemon Ginger turmeric tea if I’m feeling bloated. I also give myself a massage, do yoga stretches, deep breathing, I also sometimes put a hot pad on my belly as well. I’m also trying my best to not eat dairy but it’s just so hard!!

    I have horrible GI problems and get bloated and gassy. Sometimes I’m in lots of pain! I’m on a special diet for it. I hear y’all! I get asked all the time “how far along” I am. It doesn’t even hurt my feelings anymore! Especially now that I know it’s a health problem! 😂😂Sometimes it’s just fun watching people try to backpedal!

    but if u don't feel bloated in the stomach. it's a normal bump almost every woman have. it does help to get muscle or get thinner, but if u get thinner it's usually unhealthy. I would say most women think that once the bump is gone they look good/thin but it's actually so normal and means a healty body. that is if u don't feel bloated

    Every month I have one week where I bloat excessively. I'm sure at this point it's just the menstrual cycle but there is nothing more defeating than waking up four days in a row to a huge stomach and nothing can bring it down. Every month I think "there's no way this is bloat, this time it's definitely weight gain." And then the next week my belly is back to normal. I hate this damn uterus.

      @@infiresmannn6737 Step 1: buy mint tea bags. Step 2: pour boiling water on a tea bag (in a mug) and wait 5 minutes. Step 3: drink. You can also dry mint leaves and put them in a tea strainer and then add boiling water.

    I'm pretty in shape, but it's losing that stubborn belly fat that is really difficult for me :(. Plus I bloat (even after like, a run) which confuses me at times

      I heard belly fat can be the result of stress. Also: drink lots of water (especially when you're exercising), and figure out how that works out best for you. Some articles suggest you drink a few glasses at once, and others suggest you drink tiny sips at a time.
      And last but not least... Everyone has a spot on their body which loses weight last. For me, it's my arms... Only when I am really really losing weight, my arms finally get thinner. But you should ask yourself whether that is what you want. Belly fat is actually very normal for women. Lots of people find it beautiful and feminine :)

      You can bloat because of exercise as well. Your body might hold some water weight after you challenged yourself physically

      Maybe you're eating something you're slightly allergic to or your body isn't taking well! I'd suggest writing down how you feel after you eat something to try to figure out what it is that is bothering you!

      blogilates I do have a lot of allergies I get rashes from makeup, foods and detergents. I’m definitely gonna talk to my primary care doctor

    It's important to mention that laxative abuse may cause REALLY SEVERE bloating issues that don't stop at just gluten and veg and that stuff. Please please please don't shove the dulcolax down thinking that it will help! It won't in the long run.

      I personally have never taken laxatives but my flatmate does to help her lose weight and she's ALWAYS on the toilet farting incessantly. I told her that it's not healthy but she won't listen.

      Yes. I had severe IBS issues in my teens and had been prescribed laxatives and softeners and even though I used them like I was supposed to, it caused so much bloat afterwards. I now have IBD along with GERD but I only use laxatives and anti D meds (my body loves switching back and forth) if it is absolute last choice.

    I have Ulcerative Colitis and this is an everyday struggle. Even if I don't eat. 😐 I suspect SIBO, but my GI doc sucks and won't even let me get tested for it. Lol

      Yes I get bloated too for maybe a week. 2 weeks sounds quite excessive. So that is like half a month! I also keep on working out and never stop throughout my period. It makes me feel way better with my cramps and bloating. If I stopped everytime I got my period, it would be a week a month I would miss. Noway. Lol. Wish you all the best qith bloating!♡
