    1. Talking videos, 2. Workout Routine/ Beauty Routine, 3. Vlogs :) Sending you all so much love and happiness!!

    I just wanted to add:
Be very careful with suddenly dramatically lowering your salt intake. It can result in decreased blood pressure. I did this not long ago and was also drinking coconut water (for electrolytes,) which I didn't know also decreases blood pressure, and by the 3rd day, I felt terrible. I woke up in the middle of the night with a migraine and felt like I was going to vomit. I eventually got up out of bed and picked up a glass of water to take along with me to the bathroom, fainted, and fell onto the broken glass. Be VERY careful, ladies!

Here is the summary and related questions:
Effective tips to reduce water retention and puffiness, including foam rolling, lymphatic drainage, and avoiding high-sodium and high-fiber foods. Proper hydration, sleep, and stress management are also crucial for achieving a toned, slim appearance.
    Key moments:
00:24 *REDUCE WATER RETENTION* in the body to achieve a toned look by understanding the *impact of high-impact workouts, sodium intake, and fiber-rich foods*.
    - *HIGH-IMPACTS WORKOUT* can lead to water retention due to increased blood flow to muscles, emphasizing the importance of rest and recovery for reducing swelling.
    - *EXCESSIVE WATER INTAKE* can cause the body to retain water, prompting the need for a balanced diet and reduced sodium consumption for a toned appearance.
    - *CONSUMING HIGH-FIBER FOOD* can impact digestion and body appearance, highlighting the need to prioritize stomach health for reducing water retention and achieving a toned look.
06:50 *PROPER LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE* , along with other factors like adequate sleep and hydration, can help reduce bloating and promote a toned appearance. Lymphatic drainage plays a crucial role in flushing out toxins and reducing water retention, leading to a slimmer and more toned physique.
-*IMPORTANCE OF ADEQUATE SLEEP* and *HYDRATION* in maintaining a toned appearance and reducing bloating. Lack of sleep can impact hormones and lead to a bulkier look.
-The benefits of *PROPER HYDRATION & THE IMPACT OF WATER TEMPERATURE* on the body's ability to absorb water. Warm water aids digestion and reduces water retention.
-Cultural practices related to water consumption and its effect on digestion. Serving *WARM WATER & TEA(S)* can aid in digestion and toxin elimination.
10:11 *FOAM ROLLING* can help *REDUCE CELLULITE & BULKINESS* in thighs, but may cause initial pain. *HAIR CARE*, creating a *DE-STRESSING ENVIRONMENT* with candles and music, and using essential oil mist can enhance self-care routines.
    - *FOAM ROLLING* for thighs can be painful initially but beneficial for cellulite reduction and toning. Consistent use is key for optimal results.
    - *HAIR CARE* routine involves applying a favorite product to wet hair roots, emphasizing the importance of hair care alongside skincare.
    - Creating a *DE-STRESSING ENVIRONMENT* with candles, music, and essential oil mist can elevate self-care routines and promote relaxation and well-being.
15:16 *CONFIDENCE* can be boosted by making oneself comfortable, maintaining eye contact, listening actively, and using people's names, conveying a secure and confident demeanor. Remembering names is particularly impactful as it is a person's favorite word.
-The *IMPORTANCE OF EYE-CONTACT* in exuding confidence and natural intimidation, enhancing one's perceived confidence level.
    - *ACTIVE LISTENING & OBSERVING* to appear more secure and confident in conversations by not dominating but engaging effectively.
-The significance of *USING PEOPLE'S NAMES IN COMMUNICATION*, as it is considered a person's favorite word, contributing to a positive impression.

In the beginning of the video i felt so called out.
I've been doing high impact workouts and still couldn't get rid of shoulder and thigh fat. I also stretch out a couple times a week so i was rlly confused. You're such a girl's girl for sharing your tips. I can't wait for part 2. I'll do this routine for a while and try to leave updates
    Update:
Guys sorry it took a bit of time. So I've been doing this only for a week. I used my glass water bottle bc i didn't have a roller like her. I don't think there's a change in m leg circumference but they definitely look more snatched. Also this helped the cellulite on the back of my thighs. I lessened the amount of leg workouts I do and started eating less salty food. So my muscles are more relaxed but they're still a bit bulky 😅.
Honestly I rolled my arms only a couple times because i kinda forgot i had to and focused more on my legs. So there isn't that big of a change in them.
I'll continue doing this and also try to be a bit more consistent and dedicated. Btw I'll keep updating I promise 😂

I struggled SO much w puffiness mostly in my face. The BEST thing I ever did to combat it was getting on a medication called Sprintolactone . I asked my derm if I could get on it bc I noticed my hairline wasn’t as full as before (it helps combat hair fall and it’s also used for high blood pressure and hormonal acne by blocking androgens) but it just so happens to be a diuretic too, so allll that water weight I had before is GONE. I can’t even believe how different my facial features look now they look so much smaller and more carved looking like my cheekbones pop, my eyes look big again, it’s been life changing being on these meds . Another thing that helps a bit is running. I used to notice that if I wake up puffy, the only thing that combatted it was facial massage/tapping and running/jogging. The blood flow being circulated pushed some of that lymph around and settled everything down . Nothing else but these 2 things ever worked for me tho 🤷🏻‍♀️

    𐙚 ﹒🦴 ﹒ - ~
    • if you take care of water retention in your body you will look more toned compared to just doing a bunch of workouts.
    ~ ౨ৎ when / how do we GAIN water weight ? ?
    1. when you are consistently working out and your workouts are high impact workouts.
when you constantly are doing these workouts there is a lot of blood that gushes into your muscles so unless you take breakd to give your muscles some rest to really stretch and recover, your body is going to be holding a lot of water. ♡
    2. you eat a lot of foods that are high in sodium. if you eat a lot of spicy (& salty) foods and you tend to drink a lot of water after, that also makes your body hold a lot of water.
    • cutting out salty foods completely is not good for your body as well.
    ♡ balance is always key ! ! !
⤑ before an event / if you wanna look as toned as possible (eating) something high in sodium would not be recommended
    3. if you eat a lot of foods that are super high in fibre.
it takes your digestion a lot more difficult than eating foods that are easier to digest
    • the next day after eating a salad the night before you wont look as toned vs eating something more digestible for your body.
    4. you dont take care of your stomach (acidity)
your gut and your stomach is different. youre putting a lot of stress onto your stomach, for ex) eating a lot of high fibre food that are hard to digest. or eating foods that are going to be increasing your stress levels.
your stress levels and hormones literally are the biggest aspect that affects your stomach.
♡ your stomach has such a huge impact in the way how your body is holding water ! ! !
    5. youre not getting enough sleep.
stress levels and cortisol levels have huge impact. if youre not getting enough sleep it affects your hormones.
hormonal imbalance leads to your body looking so much more bulkier and not toned.
♡ beauty sleep IS the way to go ! ! !
    • electrolytw drinks actually help your body to flush all of the toxins out.
⤑ only drinking iced water doesnt help with your body being able to gain all of the benefits of water vs drinking warmer or luke warm water.
    • hot water helps with your digestion and makes your body be able to not hold on to a lot of water retention but able to take all the benefits of water and help flush any of the toxins and digestion in general.
    5. LMYPHATIC DRAINAGE ! ! !
♡ when your lymph nodes are not able to work properly, your body will be holding so much toxins
    • specific days where you do that routine of massaging all day to get ready for a special event

The "not having enough sleep" is very very true. I have been working so much overtime, that I've been getting below 5 hours.
I thought it was the lack of sleep of me not feeling good about my body, aka the thoughts of "Oh did I gain weight I look so much bigger."
Wrong! Not enough sleep, when I was getting my 8 hours. I was so much toner and my waist was so much better. (I also go to the gym!)

My tip which helped with my face puffiness was simply eliminating starchy foods and gluten from my diet. I eat them sparingly now eg rice, potatoes, yam, vcassava, cakes, breads etc. I reduced my sugar intake drastically and will omly have a slice of cakes at parties which i dont go to frequently anyways. I switched to warm water n celtic sea salt. First thing in the morning I have lemon tea before eating anything. I also started face yoga exercises too! Trust me, all these heloed! My face is quite slim, glowing n puffiness have disappeared! I also lost 6kg tto achieve my target weight of 59kg! Trust me it is a lifestyle change !

To save you 17 minutes. Here's the proven scientific ways to reduce water weight and a puffy face.
-Reduce sodium (salt) and carbs, both of those combined are really bad for puffiness.
-Drink more water (counterintuitive but makes your body/face more toned
-Reduce highly processed foods (These are the worst for puffiness. Go one week eating clean then have one day where you have junk food and see how puffy your face will get) I did this before and it's crazy.
-Breathe through your nose and practice good tongue posture (aka mewing) this is a meme now sadly but it's scientifically proven. Lets be real, when was the last time you saw a model or a person with a really defined face breathing through their mouth.
-And of course, eat in a calorie deficit/lose fat to reduce face fat.
    -Exercising helps too.

a lot of people say that you have to drink more water because the body holds water if you don't drink enough, is this true?

    • @LittleLadElia
      @LittleLadElia 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +62

It is true! Ik a lot abt nutrition and stuff, and yeah basically being dehydrated leads to water retention, plus drinking more water helps with digestion, speeds up your metabolism, flushes out toxins and helps burn fat! Waters more awesome then a lot of ppl know, I try to drink 3 litres a day because that's what works best for me, it's different for everyone but I'd say definitely drink at least 2 litres of water every day :) hope this helped

@@LaraStarit’s not only about just drinking more water. It’s actually about getting in a proper amount of minerals: magnesium, potassium, sodium, which are not enough in our water nowadays. Especially if one doesn’t eat enough animal products, one can get deficiencies pretty easily. I had this when I was vegetarian and only drank tap water (in germany it’s not poisonous, but not very hydrating either), so I had dry lips and my face was definetely more swollen. It’s only been recently that I started eating an animal-based diet and only drinking spring water and supplementing a little bit with magnesium (magnesium bicarbonate) and I feel more energised and I only drink when I feel thirsty and my face has gotten more defined. Working out has also been a key factor I believe. Also sleep is super important! When I go to sleep at midnight or later and still sleep 8hrs I look swollen, but when I go to sleep early like 10pm and sleep 8hrs+ my face composition looks better. Just how my experience is

I've been sleeping for 3-4 hours every monday-friday cuz of school (i sleep at 11 am and wake up at 3 am , school starts at 5:30 am) and every morning i do exercise, but it still wouldn't get any skinnier and my waist or ribcage is getting more wider! Everybody in the comments is talking about puffy face but here I am suffering from swollen ankles. All of the retained water is accumulated around my ankles - the length between the calves and the ankle bones - and so my whole leg looks like a tree trunk. 😭

    • @MimzyFlimzy
      @MimzyFlimzy 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

Idk if you tried gua she like this video suggests, and Idk exactly what and why your ankles are like that, but for me, I have bad blood circulation, so I have a lot of pent up ‘blood’ in my legs after standing and walking a lot, and so I lay on my back with my legs straight in on a wall in a 90 degree angle like twice a day, and it helps me a lot, I think if you mixed that with ‘gua sha’ for your ankles/legs, it could help 😁

    • @ablindinglightthatnolonger8379
      @ablindinglightthatnolonger8379 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@@MimzyFlimzy yes same! Since I've gotten back into training (functional training, so high impact/weights training) I've been getting bulkier, but only slightly more toned, I still weight the same (a lil too much), but I did start to lose a couple of inches from my belly, waist and hips. So I was confused as to why other areas of my body don't seem to change much. My high fiber diet (due to my slight insulin resistance) also doesn't help. But the one thing that really bummed me out is the fact that I'm starting to get reticular veins on my legs, especially calves.
Doing the legs on the wall stretching helps, but one more thing I do is sleeping with my legs slightly raised. I don't have a fancy bedframe, so I just put a thick cushion and some blankets under the end of my mattress and it works. So far not a massive difference, but my legs do look a little bit less veiny and feel a lot less heavy and tense.
