I been using it for 2mths and this S7 ultra maxV really incredible. If you check the robot bin you can't believe your eyes how clean is the bin because all the dirt had been suck into the dock bin. Best Roborock!

Great video review! Do you like the rotating mopping pads like the Dreame has better or this Roborock stationary one?
Personally I don't mind either as the both have their own pros and cons so it really comes down to what robot you want.

Yea Roborock releases all of these models at different times across the world. It is hard for me to keep up with the dates.
Overpriced get the Roborock S7 plus, what I have and in white and smaller base station.

@@shanew7361 I agree with Jamie here, it depends on what you're after. If you want an automated robot that also mops your floors, then the S7 doesn't really do it, because you need to clean the mop and fill up the water tank. But if you don't care about mopping, then it's silly to spend the extra money.
@@c0unterph0bia Having stale water and the odor in the house not to mention the large presence and ugly color to have a cheaper price same or better quality of vqc and mop for 45 seconds I'll stick with the S7 plus lol

One thing though, there is no smell of soap after finishing a clean and I have seen that people say that the Mapping featur will be greatly enhanced if adding soap.
I know that the warranty will be voided if I do but what will actually happen?
Is there really any need? Improvement?
Except that my house will smell Like a traditional clean with soap and water..

Thanks for the video! How is the robot and charging station functioning today after about five months? Were there any technical problems?
Working well! I still use it as my main robot. A new video about the add on dryer module will be out in a few days.
I was surprised how slow the S7 MaxV charges on the Ultra dock. My neato charged completely in a couple hours. I just received it and the first charge is taking at an hour and a half to go from the "low battery" point that it goes to recharge to 54%.
It could be the difference in battery size. Do you have a large home that requires multiple recharges?
Just purchased the whole package (robot and ultra dock) coming from Roomba i7 (which I stopped using).

The normal S7 plus dock has 3 filters (a primary filter, a HEPA filter, and the bag itself). How does this compare with only the bag?
According to Roborock the bag in the Empty Wash Fill Dock gives you a E12 rating (99.5%) the bag with the other 2 filters in the Auto Empty Dock give you and H13 rating [99.99%l. The latter is an official HEPA whereas the bag alone is only EPA.
Were you able to buy the Ultra Dock on its own? I’m looking at the websites and all I can find is the robot + dock
Unfortunately the standalone dock will not be available until June is what I have seen.

My honest opinion is yes. Jamie might have a diffrent opinion.
If you need obstacle avoidance I would say certainly. If you want a better hands off mopping experience then certainly. The dock makes the S7 MaxV better.

Yes it will if you are inside the app.

That is not good. I was just talking about this over lunch with my wife. RR should not punish the early adopters.

Where did you hear that? Do you mean they will be selling the robot first, then the combo, and then the dock on its own much later?
@@TheMcMagnus Yep, sold robot first in April (which I bought), now they launched robot/dock combo, with a free stick vacuum, then sometime in June, releasing the dock on its own
good evening can i ask a question I bought the roborock s7 maxv... is it true that anyone does it anyway, do I want the roborock s7 maxv plus or the s7 maxv plus ultra?
If you want the self cleaning mop get the Ultra. Only real difference between the Ultra and Plus.

No filter at docking but S7+ has it

@Todd P It has been known to, but not for me with Roborock. My last video with the iLife T10s I had that exact issue.
@Todd P I have no way of knowing really. It is not a problem for everyone and it depends on things such as the size of your home and the amount of long haired pets you have.
