oh, I was thinking you'd waste all the jammer ammo so you'd also have a fist in the left hand to do more damage and save ammo, but ig checkpoints also work
I'm fairly sure that the "This merc's a demon" line isn't actually for clearing ALL the enemies, just all the basic MTs (and maybe the copters) There's also lines for killing the initial enemies you encounter after leaving the sewer where they comment on how insane you are, and if you continue to massacre your way through the MTs (I think about 2/3rds in the whole area?) instead of the normal Pater line about using lethal force the MTs will say on their own that they're going to use lethal force because you're a monster.
You can look him up in the latest super robot war games. it's the closest thing you'll get of an armored core being in that game, from the double shoulder cannons to the pile bunker.
I've been currently watching it as part of my 80s mecha marathon and it's: 1. Unsurprisingly good 2. Surprisingly like Armored Core (or rather vise versa). Which is kinda obvious now that I think about it (Armored Trooper, AT - Armored Core, AC). I look at Chirico and Epsilon fighting and it's literally AC PvP match. Although ATs, despite their mobility and firepower, should probably be closer to MTs than ACs.

burn the ammo in the left hand and use that to punch with the morley and ludlow. The extra impact leading to staggering the tetrapods really helps with ammo efficiency, from the damage multiplier.
Right before I've started recording for this video, I played through the game with Walters AC. I'm not sure that would be possible. Carla has dual Apertifs and Soups. In my experience, bringing that many explosives to fight a Tetrapod MT is about as challenging as breaking "Invincible" Rummy's AC over your knee.
@@kinorris1709 yep, it's not possible but for another reason. I just tried because of your comment, but the tetrapod doesn't move far away from his position. no matter what you do, so you sadly can't get him over there
@@VenxWD I personally feel like not having a real threat to the player, such as Tetrapods or even an AC in that ending encounter was a mistake. Obviously the idea was that the player, being in an underpowered AC, would run for cover due to being outnumbered and possibly running low on ammo, but the basic MT class enemies are just too weak. First time playing, I killed the first Tetra in the sewers, specifically because Ayre said that the AC was "no match for my abilities". I did stealth through the actual city area though. Then when they had me cornered, they really figured that a squad or 2 of MTs was enough to stop me. I gunned half of them down before Carla even showed up.
The AC parts are kinda meh and the weapons are basically pvp focused. The rifle, rocket, and melee weapon are best used in pvp and NOT pve. The engine used is difficult to use as it punishes you for not using it constantly but rewards you for doing so which is better for pvp where you always will be moving with it.

S rank full kill needs a bunch of AFK time and godlike reflexes to dump you jammer bomb for access to your offhand punch.
You can just dump the jamming bomb launcher using the purge weapon feature. No need to sit there and waste the ammo.
