Looking forward to this aswell. Unfortunately I’m alittle skeptical on how much they will be able to make it look like those units. Like if there are just cosmetic parts that can be added will most likely change my skepticism since I want to make units like wing gundam and shadow gundam. May not fight the exact same but I would like to play them in more than maximum ON.

I'd never thought that I'd see the day where TH-camrs would release Armored Core build tutorial videos. Most of the Armored Core videos I've seen on TH-cam are gameplay videos.
Meefcake got me through the final boss fight in Chapter 1. I died so many times before building Meefcake, and even then it took a few tries, but I finally got it.
These builds work great. I built a mixture of meeftank w/quad legs for the armored plated boss and kept the energy missiles and was able to keep him staggered and just stay above him the whole time. Great video bro can't wait to see what else you come up with.
as a veteran I can confirm that this is a good video. you know what you are talking about. The first build was pretty much my loadout. in chapter 1 and 2

Bro that first build is insane. It helped me one shot Juggernaut and I was missing the FCS and the Generator, had to swap something else in and it still wrecked house. Thanks man, I was nervous seeing him myself but that build put in some serious work.
Beefcake gets my vote. I happened to make a similar loadout with all those weapons and it’s been going good through the entire game. I’ve maybe changed to new pieces and generator after chapter 3 and those weapons are still killing it! You can swap the hand weapons for those smaller laser pistols and they still wreck enemies since you can fire so many shots with them. I’m onto chapter 4 and all Arena missions completed. I’ll take some tips for the melee and aerial mechs as I’ve wanted a reason to use the energy sword more and have a flying mech. ;)

You go for the stats you want to achieve the play style you want to..play. You can check each stat's purpose with the help command. Arm yourself with knowledge and bask in the glory of knowing what you're playing. Haha. Cheers.

@@WO_21 i think he replaced the right-hand missiles with a plasma rifle and the shoulder missiles with plasma missiles. Personally, I would keep the 10-missile option.
I love the Meefcake and will be putting it together as I just started the game, later will try the Golden God bombardier :) Thanks for the video I am a total newcomer to AC series so putting together builds is still quite complicated but I'm learning. The game is addicting!
Great builds. The Meefcake is definitely the highlight of these, but the other two are so much fun also. I made all of these at the very beginning of chapter two, as the parts for the latter two builds are unlocked right away then. The only change I made is that I put on the Kasuar head instead of the Nachreiter one, which sadly tips it over the weight limit, but I replaced the VP missile launcher with a lighter one to balance this, as I found the higher Attitude Stability is needed on such a light build to not be staggered too easily.
Just for those who want the head, you had to have pre ordered the game for that part. You can throw on the 11 melander head though, and that works just as good

They all look amazing, great mech designs man. So far I'm into melee builds so I'll tinker a bit with what ya did for assassin. While only just finished CH1 I'm getting more comfortable with moving and everything. The game is everything I've wanted, and waiting over 10 years has indeed been worth it.
Trying to keep tabs on the community builds. I keep my left shoulder empty for the energy efficiency, but I was considering adding a second melee wep. This seals the deal for me. Pile bunker is disgusting, but useless on anything that moves. Plasma blade charge attack is waaay easy to hit, especially with the melee thrust boosters on. You get some beefy arms shortly after this that crank melee damage, too. Songbird, laser or shotgun and the melee. Steamrolling everything so far. Cheers.
I have updated a little bit the design of Meefcake in chapter 4. I have put the chicken legs (reverse joins) for faster dodging, toss the arms with highest firearm specialization and the FCS that give best performance in close and mid range attacks. For boss fights I put the threads just to get a little bit the extra AP.
definitely gonna try the Meefcake as soon as i can. Game is super tough starting out, once I start to understand the game more i'll experiement with my own builds. Edit: I dont hav all the parts available yet but i did buy the double plasma cannon and double plasma launchers, ,and its already made me OP, going back and doing the early missions for more money and i''m just demolishing everything . Only problem is im spending a lot on ammo.
Meefcake got me through Balteus and a good chunk of chapter 1. It wasn't easy of course but the energy weapons helped strip the shield down faster I want to say. Managed to almost kill him with it a few times and finally pushed through to chapter 2. Right now I'm enjoying the golden god the most but I haven't tried the melee one yet. I know pilebunker is great for when the enemy is stunned while up close. I'm planning on building a Tank style core with duel miniguns, and either duel songbirds or laser canons but I really wanted a Tetrapod flying arsenal style mech and this one does the trick.

Meefcake is a beast for sure. Almost trivialized some fights. The Melee mech was a ton of fun especially in the Arena. Satisfying to get the Piledriver crits off
I was having trouble on the balteus boss, found this video, and made the beefcake build since i was only missing a few parts, blasted through balteus very easy and had a blast playing it, now i tried the Aerial god nuker and i absolutely love it! thanks for the video!
Curious as to what you were playing before the video, because the game requires some assembly logic. If you aren't successful by your own merits, what have you been doing? Genuine question.
@@Truth_Hurts_Bad I basically used the melander pre order bonus set and plasma gun with the default knife. I wasn't too far off from killing balteus on the last few tries but i got sick of it and switched it up with the video and got through most of the game now.
I beat down all with the default frame. Just upgraded components and weapons. Same with the light frame. Love that the series is back. So many memories from PS1 to PS3. Now to make new ones.

I call it the "Double Downer". It really just depends on the weapons used. Use the stun baton and pile bunker for melee, and use the Songbird + any handgun for stagger and middle range combat. First, get the stagger with the Songbird and handgun of your choice, and then fully charge the stun baton. This gets you the second stagger. Finally finish off with the pile bunker for more damage. This build works best with boss enemies and arena fights. You can change out the handgun with the Vcc energy rifle for basic mob enemies in the missions for easier and quicker kills
Ive always loved light frames with a good melee weapon. For awnsers pile driver was so much fun. I think i have to give the win to Meefcake though. I was having trouble A ranking the wallcimber mission. That build fixed my problem. I didnt realize energy weapons dont use my energy bar anymore
My favorite anti-ac build is double laser pistols and double laser canons. Cleared all arena fights with it and, even though it feels like brute-forcing, it works really well. For bigger bosses trade in laser pistols for plasma cannons and it still works

Gonna start on the last ch1 mission tomorrow morning, been running something similar to the first build but more of a glass cannon with reverse joints instead. Really liking the crazy mobility and energy output with the nachtreiher frame but i might actually sacrifice some of the mobility for AP and pick up the tian-qiang parts before starting the mission in case i get stuck on balteus
For melee builds I often prefer a more dulled, and scratched up look, also shotguns of all types can synergize amazingly with said melee weapons and their cooldown period, giving a good close range option that isn't quite within melee range
After 11 hours from now I'm going to grind up some credits when I get enough hopefully I purchase all your builds mostly those three that you you're describing right now and put them in save slots oh yeah
You are right! The Tetrapod hover is super unflattering. I kind of wish it banked and turned when moving like Balteus does instead of just sliding around all flat like XD
Preordered and played a few missions and the learning curve on mastering movement/resource management/weaponry is a bit steep, but its really sick. Watching this is making me wish i didnt have work tomorrow. Lol
I’ll probably play two of these in progression. Start by gathering the parts for Meefcake to carry me until I can build the Assassin. Even if I’m not the best at optimally using melee builds, I’ve always been drawn to close range combat in these games.
@@zelief5568 that head is part of a pre-order bonus set I didn’t have access to, so I just used the basic HD-011 MELANDER head instead. As far as I can tell, heads don’t change much. The main thing they’re responsible for is the scan feature.

My build that just worked with my play style was 2 back mounted laser cannons, 2 machine guns, decent mobility, mid range. I call it fallen angel because it resembles an angel but the look has a dark, dissonant tone to it.

After failing hours, I used the beef and defeated Balteus in 1 try! I even forgot to put the assault amour on
@gamesmash9859 You can replay missions for more currency. I recommend grinding the "test ac" one. Really fast and easy.

I beat the pca special forces suits in milliseconds with it. Use pulse blade double tap to stagger, and then use pile to finish off.

I used the Meefcake build and it worked great! Eventually switched out the plasma missiles for Laser rifles and used the tank treads though.

The Beefcake build is steamrolling everything.
One of the main core gameplay loops is building mechs. The cherry on top is they always look so good.
For melee builds I often prefer a more dulled, and scratched up look, also shotguns of all types can synergize amazingly with said melee weapons and their cooldown period, giving a good close range option that isn't quite within melee range
After 11 hours from now I'm going to grind up some credits when I get enough hopefully I purchase all your builds mostly those three that you you're describing right now and put them in save slots oh yeah

You are right! The Tetrapod hover is super unflattering. I kind of wish it banked and turned when moving like Balteus does instead of just sliding around all flat like XD

Preordered and played a few missions and the learning curve on mastering movement/resource management/weaponry is a bit steep, but its really sick. Watching this is making me wish i didnt have work tomorrow. Lol
I’ll probably play two of these in progression. Start by gathering the parts for Meefcake to carry me until I can build the Assassin. Even if I’m not the best at optimally using melee builds, I’ve always been drawn to close range combat in these games.

@@zelief5568 that head is part of a pre-order bonus set I didn’t have access to, so I just used the basic HD-011 MELANDER head instead. As far as I can tell, heads don’t change much. The main thing they’re responsible for is the scan feature.

My build that just worked with my play style was 2 back mounted laser cannons, 2 machine guns, decent mobility, mid range. I call it fallen angel because it resembles an angel but the look has a dark, dissonant tone to it.
Awesome builds. I did find it hard to hit faster moving enemies with the plasma rifles.
