The build I used to S-Rank Allmind, Ayre, and a handful of others was dual GU-A2s and dual Kranichs on an Alba frame with the VP-46D arms(the skinny ones), the VE-20D, and the Occellus FCS I think with Allula boosters. The bubble guns are op. It's a shame they & the vcpl weapons don't get much love since they're op too. I'll make a note of your ac & turn it into my own.
I've always had this headcanon for an in-world explanation of the dearth of parts in AC6, you're in a warzone in the middle of nowhere, on a planet it's really hard to get on to alive and you're in the middle of nowhere spatially, you're not exactly getting part shipments, your options are what people have brought with them or you're trying to run a factory in the middle of a warzone where chunks of continent can disappear in a night, like what Elcano is doing, you're lucky Furlong thought to bring along so many FCS's 'cause otherwise you'd be pretty boned. You're dealing with the tablescraps of what few companies can get a toehold on Rubicon, and frankly most companies are going to use their own parts so who are you even selling to? The Front? They're not typically the most affluent folks, and Elcano cornered that market anyway. So that leaves mercs who can pay for sure but really there's only like a hundred or two of us total, we aren't a massive market, the corps are probably used to selling to armadas and militaries, we're small fries that get stuff done and they'll squeeze us for what COAM we've got, but we probably aren't that worth all that much effort, especially since AC's are a specialty war machine versus most will probably focus on MTs and other mass market items
Great post! I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the sheer amount of weaponry that was made available upon the initial release. The cynic in me expected half of what we received with the expectation that we would have to "buy" remaining weapons in a DLC. But I think From recognizes that more customization leads to more playability. Again, great post!
Thank you Shok. Oh yes i admit i think you can see at the end i don't name all the furlong weapons as the list was going on long enough ha ha. Honestly i was too seeing as games does like to rip out things and then go now you play for them. So i thank from that they went nope its free.
I know no info about VCPL's actually given, but my theory is that it's another Arquebus subsidiary. They're never mentioned in the independent mercenary comms, which implies they aren't one of the neutral corps. And since they overlap with Arquebus and Schneider's energy weapon specializations, use similar naming conventions to Arquebus, and are used almost exclusively by Vespers, that seems most likely who they're affiliated with.
A very good point. My issue is because we don't really get anything solid like we know defung is a subsidiary of balam but the VCPL is pretty much bare boned. No links, nothing written down, not even a mentioned it just leaves more questions then answers.
@@armoredcorelore True. If anything they could just be an independent corp with a strong vested interest in Arquebus, like BAWS is with the RLF. Hopefully, we'll get a proper sequel to AC6, and with Balem and Arquebus in tatters, the smaller corps will get a chance to shine.
