I have seen stories, including this game, where villains have done wrong, but before their rise to becoming villains, they were once good people in the past. However, certain people, have wronged them without care and remorse, even as they grow up and move on. For what they have done to the before-villains, they want to be the victims and let the public know that they are good people, which is false. They want to cover up their wrongdoings in order to protect their images. Even if the villain dies or lives to face punishment, the people who wronged them deserve to pay the price. They would get upset, but they should have thought about this. They are only for sorry for getting caught and their lives being ruined.

Personally wish they did this reveal earlier. Because in the story before the reveal, it just makes it like Martin hates Norman for no reason. So it just would have helped Spider-Man's motive for helping him out if this reveal came sooner.

ENDING SPOILERS No, Peter had the choice of either using the antiserum on May at the cost of not being able to cure others of Devil’s Breath, or not use it so that more doses can be made, but at the cost of May not surviving. I don’t think May would’ve became a Negative considering how no one else became that way after more doses were made.
