Everyone is saying that Otto will become Superior Spider-Man, but i think that he will directly become Superior Octopus without the process of him becoming Superior Spider-Man by stoling Peter's body since we already had the story with the symbiote taking control of Peter in Spider-Man 2.

Otto's words in the first game and in this post credit scene give extremely good setup for Superior Spiderman; hopefully they don't play too safe like how they did in Spiderman 2, maybe then they'll actually win something

@@user-bb4ri5lg2w I hope that's true I want it to be true but idk man. The next game is gonna be more about miles anyways so maybe they could work something out like that
Gotta say, Insomniac is setting up one hell of an vengeful Green Goblin. Not only is he already angry about almost losing his son, but he has a whole lot more to lose in the near future. He's set to be on trial for the devil's breath incident, which has irreparably damaged his rep with the public. But things could get a whole lot worse considering the symbiote saga can ultimately be traced originally to Oscorp and their testing. This could set a whole lot of things in motion. Norman could get ousted as mayor, he may very well end of a convicted felon. New York and the media both will vitrify him and Oscorps tarnished rep will tank further and bring the org to its knees. Literally everything built around Norman could and will crumble, and Harry's death could be the final nail in the coffin. Green Goblin isn't going to have some evil plan to ressurect his son or save his skin. His mission is gonna be mutually assured destruction for both the Spider-Men and all of New York City.
Destruction could be the main thematic of the third game, after all: Spiderman 1: changing the world Spiderman 2: healing the world Spiderman 3: Destroying the (Spiderman/Peter) world
Anyone notice how his glass shadow looks a lot like Spider-Man's lenses. If what I think is true, that means we might see Superior Spider-Man in the next game.
That's one of my favorite things about this scene! I was so disappointed that they changed Mr. Negative's theme. They better keep Otto and Norman's themes the same in the final chapter!
The way the lighting is set up, the shadows around Otto's eyes make a shape similar to Spider-Man's mask eyes (it looks the most similar to the Raimi trilogy suit's mask eyes out of all versions tho). Possible Superior Spider-Man storyline in the next game, perhaps?
all the main spiderman villains problems from the games so far could be solved by the symbiote suit. Minus the evil it causes, but all ock was looking for was a cure, harry wanted a cure, kraven didnt want to die from cancer so the symbiote + Li coulda solved it all lmao
After all the time, Martin Li felt remorse and redeemed himself in the end. Otto however, still seems the same. Despite keeping Peter’s identity a secret, he still has sinister intentions.

Spider-Man and Venom working *together* is just barely enough to stop Carnage. With Venom gone, and with Doc Ock/The Green Goblin (and who knows who else) teaming up, New York City is going to be a warzone by the third game reaches its close.

My guess for Spider-Man 3 is there are three “spider men” with Silk being the new one. That's when I started screaming because I love his theme! I'm not 100% sure they will team up in the third game, but if they do it will be amazing! Green goblin and Doc are my two favorite Spider-Man villains! 😁😁😁😏💚👺🐙
Norman said “save my boy” and that’s exactly what Spider-Man did. Harry having a prexisting incurable disease ain’t his fault and neither is giving him the symbiote.
Harry being in a coma isn't exactly "saving", hell Harry would've died if it weren't for Miles.
And yet he blame Spider-Man for hurting his son even though it was Norman's fault.
Now i want to really see Otto as Superior Spiderman. That not only would be cool it would also give Otto a somewhat of a redemption turn. In my opinon Superior Spiderman was one of the best arcs of the 616 universe amazing Spiderman comics
Green Goblin is the Last Stand and I’m all for it!
He better say hello Peter in the next game
Omg yes!!!!!!
"The Final Chapter."
😳😳😳
I like how Otto just DGAF
More like he is happy to hear that as he was trying to screw Norman over throughout the first game.
Finally, something that ISN'T Harry floating in a tank of green goop XD
“The Final Chapter”
Chills like it was a Post Credit scene from the MCU
Everyone is saying that Otto will become Superior Spider-Man, but i think that he will directly become Superior Octopus without the process of him becoming Superior Spider-Man by stoling Peter's body since we already had the story with the symbiote taking control of Peter in Spider-Man 2.
1:11 could that be Green Goblin’s theme
That's Harry's theme. :)
Trilogy just begun
Soon but first we need a DLC that is related to Cindy's origin and have a spinoff game for her just like Miles
Otto said it I'mself. Peter's secret is safe with him.
He can break his promise
I’m surprised to see Otto is still able to move
He’s barely functioning at this point…he doesn’t got much time left before it’s completely gone
@@SuperPrestogamer ya but as Peter said in SM1 “he would lose control of his motor functions within a year”
But it’s been 2
@@b1ackspid3r43 but he never said completely…he only said he’d start losing them within a year…
@@SuperPrestogamer really? I thought… maybe I should replay the game again to see
Peter was only estimating
the Raft's doctors are probably doing their best to slow the process, but Otto is still only on borrowed time, you can tell from how he constantly blinks like he's having a spasm from both scenes of him in the Raft from the endings of both games@@b1ackspid3r43
Otto's words in the first game and in this post credit scene give extremely good setup for Superior Spiderman; hopefully they don't play too safe like how they did in Spiderman 2, maybe then they'll actually win something
I loved how both Norman and Otto are both hugely sympathetic characters. You understand exactly how motivated they are. If what had happened to them happened to you, you'd be like them too. The characters in these games are so wonderfully human.
this confirms that with pete taking his break, otto is gonna take his body and become superior spiderman, then it will be miles who will save pete.
In the final chapter i hope Peter and miles have their usual costumes. Red&blue.Black&red
Agree, i really don't like Miles' Adidas costume. The black and red WAS and will ALWAYS be iconic imo.
The way he said it has me scared for the next game. Man there’s no doubt that spider man 3 the final chapter is gonna be the biggest game ever
Norman: what are you writing
Otto: how Benson thought we were the coolest employees.
Notice how the shadows of Otto's glasses resemble the eyes of a symbiote creature. Perhaps fore-"shadow"-ing for something like Monster Ock???
0:45 you have done that yourself Norman
Yes! He should’ve known better like if his security guards or something like that had took care of it, it would’ve happened the same.
Also, is that the Star Wars ROTS reference?
@@christopherlmoo Yes it is
I'm calling it, the third game's gonna be a superior spider-man storyline.
Yeah. Look at shadows on Ottos eyes. They looks just like a lenses from spider mask
They'd never take that much of a risk, just see how safe the Spiderman 2 story was
@@SpeedKing.. That's honestly a good point, but at the same time the way the lightning on his glasses replicate the spiderman lens in this scene is obviously intentional. Maybe they will have the consciousness swap be brief before switching it back up, just how Peter didn't spend a whole lot of time in the symbiote suit in this game
@@user-bb4ri5lg2w I hope that's true I want it to be true but idk man. The next game is gonna be more about miles anyways so maybe they could work something out like that
Wait and see what happens
Destruction could be the main thematic of the third game, after all:
Spiderman 1: changing the world
Spiderman 2: healing the world
Spiderman 3: Destroying the (Spiderman/Peter) world
“You know how much I sacrificed?!” springs to mind.
What if Norman pays for Otto's release so they can go back to Oscorp and work on Goblin armor since the "G-Serum" is ready?
We all have to experience loss sometimes. Even you, Norman.
Otto said this without hesitation as he wanted Norman to be screwed since the first game.
Anyone notice how his glass shadow looks a lot like Spider-Man's lenses. If what I think is true, that means we might see Superior Spider-Man in the next game.
I like how doc ock’s theme plays here, and it seems like the Osborne/Venom theme also plays throughout
That's one of my favorite things about this scene! I was so disappointed that they changed Mr. Negative's theme. They better keep Otto and Norman's themes the same in the final chapter!
Am I the only one thinking we'll be getting a spider verse game in the future no matter what happens in the next upcoming spider man games?
Spider-Man: Change the World
Spider-Man 2: Heal the World
Spider-man 3: Destroy His world
Spider-Man 3: Feed the world, let them know it’s Christmastime
Spiderman 3: Superior Spiderman
Spider-Man 3: end the world
The way the lighting is set up, the shadows around Otto's eyes make a shape similar to Spider-Man's mask eyes (it looks the most similar to the Raimi trilogy suit's mask eyes out of all versions tho).
Hopefully Norman becomes the Green Goblin in the next one
He will
I’ll be pissed if they make Harry Green Goblin, Harry sucks as the Green Goblin
@@Damienp3902they will use the G-Serum to treat Harry and he will become the Green Goblin.
@@darkraider1560not sure if they’ll stick with keeping Harry as an antagonist all over again for their last game. Just don’t see how that could work and they’ve already put this much build up for Osborn. Man is a freak. He’s gonna do something.
@@naowieHarry's alive?
Superior Spider Man is coming…
Lmao, there's no way they're doing some Freaky Friday body-swap nonsense
Maybe not. That suit is available in this game. The reason why the black suit was not in the first game was because they hoped to save that for the future.
@@SarcyBoi41there’s a high chance I believe just think about it doc ock body is losing function he needs a new body and with the help of Norman seeking vengeance against spider man he will help him. Or maybe Peter just dies in the next game
@@kaseemkass8104heres my theory
Goblin and Otto fight the Spider-Men. Goblin kills Spider-Man(Peter), Ock takes over dead Peters' body, then Ock dies in Peter's body in the final bossfight or something, permanently killing both Peter and Otto, while giving us Superior Spider-Man.
@@kaseemkass8104 He's not going to take Peter's body, because it's a stupid premise and a massive cliché. End of.
With the Carnage tease, and now Doc Ock tease maybe we will see insomniacs version of Monster Ock from the Nintendo spiderman haha
Now that would be a neat, albeit, weird callback. Loved that old PS1 game.
Spider-Man and Venom working *together* is just barely enough to stop Carnage.
With Venom gone, and with Doc Ock/The Green Goblin (and who knows who else) teaming up, New York City is going to be a warzone by the third game reaches its close.
I'm calling it, Red Goblin (Norman with Carnage symbiote) will be the final boss of the third game.
And then you have Carnage out there somewhere. Could be DLC for this one but who knows!
Yeah we'll I think Venom will need a new host, Harry looks to be done as Venom.
Disagree. In venom 2, venom was able to stop both carnage and shriek.
I'm sure Carnage, Doc Ock and Green Goblin will declare war to New York.
I fucking love this, I waited 5 years for This cutscene it’s everything i wanted
I guessed otto will come back
As Superior Spiderman
@@crashpal That would be awesome but I doubt that, cuz Insomniac are doing their own story. Nothing from the comics, but I think Otto will probably sabotage Norman & trick him to become the Green Goblin.
I love how Norman didn’t realize that Spiderman was cuddling MJ when he departed in the ambulance.
1:26 THE FINAL CHAPTER WILL BE:
*THIS IS HOW IT HAPPENED, THIS IS HOW THE SPIDERMAN DIED*
This is the best version of Ock ever written and Will Salyers plays him perfectly
“Peter Peter Peter. No good deed goes unpunished. You can thank me later.”
If you listen closely, you can hear Otto's leitmotif. Wish more games used them.
Even if Otto told Norman who Spiderman was, Norman wouldn’t seek revenge because he’d know that Peter would never try to harm Harry.
I highly doubt it. Norman is being all irrational and when he inevitably falls to madness that won't matter.
Only dumb thing about this game is Norman being an IDIOT. He first asked the Spiders to save his son which they do yet he still blames them when it was his fault for putting a Symbiote in his son😂
Arrogance and ignorance runs in the Osborn family.
@@Ay3shizzle hypocrisy as well

"Don't tell Harry"
I love when Norman mentions the G-serum which could foreshadow him becoming Green Goblin, and I’m assuming Norman and Otto are gonna work together to try to defeat the Spider-men, it’s only gonna make the final game more epic. Best Cliffhanger in my opinion. Insomniac created the best saga for Spider-man.
The next game will have Green Goblin, Doc Ock, and carnage. Holy shit this will be insane

Why would he be in a wheelchair?
@@Damienp3902 because the first game said that his body will go paralyzed in a year. Looks like it didn’t happen.
After beating the game, and seeing the ending cutscenes, I’m guessing we are getting Green Goblin, Superior Spider - Man, and possibly the spider-verse in the next game. I’m hoping to see Carnage in the future and was surprised to see Silk (Cindy Moon) in the game.
My guess for Spider-Man 3 is there are three “spider men” with Silk being the new one. The first half villain is carnage (he will be similar to Mr negative and kraven in terms of his place in the story)
And green goblin will be the main villain of the second half (the Doc Ock or venom of that game.) and Otto will be his right hand man.
Smaller side villians will be hydro man and chameleon

Monster ock or perhaps Red Goblin. He is by far the most evil spiderman villain to date. Would love for them to adapt him.
I was playing on remote play and when the after credit begins the wifi connection was lost. lol
I finished the game today and loved the game. This scene made me excited for there to be a third game. I know a 3rd game was already hinted but is it also possible this scene also just hints toward a story expansion DLC? The first Spiderman game had it. Im just speculating
