Mister Negative may be a relatively new villain in Spider-Man's stacked Rogues Gallery, but he’s already managed to make his mark. Spider-Man's PS4 game focused heavily on Martin Li AKA Mister Negative, but where did he come from. Let's take a look at the origins of Mister Negative.

It's from The Amazing Spider-Man #569, when Eddie had cancer and Martin Li cured him.
After Eddie is attacked by Scorpion (who is the current Venom) the symbiote attempts to reunite with Eddie, but his skin becomes caustic to the symbiote and he is enveloped in a new white symbiote forged from the remnants of the Venom symbiote in his body bonding with his white blood cells charged with Li's healing energy, becoming Anti-Venom.
Meh, we won't hold that against him.

Mr. Negatives popularity has risen thanks to insomniac and he were ever to be done on film, the only actor I see perfect for him would be B.D. Wong
Hector Rojas i think Daniel Henney would be a good choice also.
Stephen Oyoung (the VA from the Insomiac Mr. Negative) is perfect for the role because he literally looks and sound like him!
Randall Park would be great as well
Or, better yet, you can just get the man who played Li/Negative in the PS4 game, Steven Oyoung.

Mister Negative was brilliant in Spider Man PS4. I have never heard of him before he was shown in the various trailers for the game but he proved to be a great and conflicted adversary.
What I do love about this character is his simple design (the white suit though is awesome looking). In comics his speech bubble colors swap in his negative form, the black ink switches to white, and the white background becomes black. I also love how Insomniac actually made his character model Negative filtered, which comic book pages cannot do. That was genius. Only downside is the negative filter hurts my eyes due to a retina problem, so unfortunately I can't look at him for too long in the game. But I don't mind, its a genius idea and design
He is basically Spidy’s own Two-Face.

I was thinking of Lee Byung Hun. He can speak Mandarin Chinese and his martial arts make him a good fighter against spider man.

Funny how I was looking for a Mr. Negative origin video since I played Spiderman earlier in the week, and today you put the video up.

I'm willing to bet that the game is a large part of why they did it. I beat the game a while back myself, and knew a little about Mr. Negative before playing it, just enough to know that his origins in the game weren't the same as they were in the comics. I like how he has a connection to Cloak and Dagger.

I don't know, the game pretty much did Mister Negative really well to the point where the MCU treatment would feel lacking in comparison.
There’s rumours he’s in the next Spider-Man film far from home but the guy maybe playing him might also be player hydra man or maybe even a different villain no one knows who he’s playing yet, we’ll have to wait and see 👀

Also did you mean Hydro Man? I would also like to see him in a film at one point. But its unlikely as he isn't as iconic as the rest of the rogues gallery.

I’m surprised people don’t know who Mr Negative is until the Spider-Man PS4 game explains his story. Mr Negative has been a Spider-Man villain for 10 years he first appeared in 2008 (the same year the MCU was released) and I knew him since the comic storyline New ways to Die. So I have a question to everyone who knows who Mr Negative is did you get introduced to him in the video game or knew him since his first appearance???

You know from watching this video and following Marvel Comics and shows, it's a shame that Marvel considered Simon Marshall a disposable character to help the origin story of Cloak and Dagger, since his drug experiments created Cloak, Dagger and Mister Negative, while a gas he developed was responsible in creating Mayhem. I'm actually surprised that Marvel hasn't brought him back somehow to become an evil chemist or something, like a version of the Tinkerer that uses chemicals instead of machines or a more modern Diablo.
Mr. Negative is sort of like Two-Face from Batman. Harvey Dent was a successful and respected man who worked with the law who then turned himself into a man with split personality (good and evil) who depends on a coin in order to decide his choices.
Nothing about the creation of Anti-Venom?

What's funny is I was watching a ultimate spiderman clip of that episode where they were in the noir world a couple of hours ago and I saw MR negatove so I looked up his name hoping watch mojo made an origin but they didn't. Couple hours later I see this in my recommended.
i heard a lot about him and heard he created anit venom but i have not seen too much of him outside of that in the comics, the most i seen of him is in the spiderman game

But my knowledge mr. Negative has never been an adversary of iron fist, only Spider-Man, Cloak and Dagger and The Punisher so if anything's mr. Negative should be on the Punisher Netflix series either that or freeforms Cloak and Dagger

@@gamequbb8298 not disagreeing with that sentiment at all. All I was saying is it should match with the appropriate hero that he supposed to Face which as I said to my knowledge has been Spider-Man, Cloak and Dagger and The Punisher but never Iron Fist.

Actually if you are talking about the insomniac mister negative, Norman Osborn injected a drug in him and then he got his negative powers but the process was explosive and ended up killing his parents and now Martin li hates Norman Osborn and that’s why he joined the sinister six so he could get revenge on Osborn.
