Living on the other side of the Tasman Sea I always look up the location of your videos and follow the landmarks (level crossings, bridges etc) along on google maps. Where this train is @8:49 the current satellite image shows a steam loco with 5 cars head east.

It is normal for Steamranger to use a selection of Steam locos, Diesel locos, and Railcars on this run. But coincidentally, the day you posted the Victor Harbor to Pt. Elliot video, 844 was used for that days train as well.🤓

@@driver667 I think I may have mentioned that the 830 class is my 2nd favorite diesel loco, just behind a low nose Victorian T class. They are both little brutes. 😁
