I never realized that so much of this section was fairly straight track? More curves and hills to come ? Thanks for posting the video.. Most enjoyable..
@@robinmathews2446 along the north coast and down the west side sees mostly curved tracks. This part of Tasmania shows that they do have sections of straight track. Very happy to hear you are enjoying the ride. 👍😀
Ha, wow, it really is as if you're going around the country picking out bits of it I knew and loved from my childhood :) Trips to Tasmania, especially around Launceston and Hobart, were some of the highlights of my early years, but I haven't been back there since the 80s.
It makes a nice change to see all the hills in Tasmania. Victoria, at the least the part where the railways are, seems mostly flat. Just been watching a bonkers ABC TV series set in Tasmania called 'Bay of Fires'. I understand it's set on the west coast of the island. We loved it and are looking forward to series 2.
Most enjoyable watching.😊
@@cozofcat9170 very happy you enjoyed the video. 👍😀
Lovely, relaxing scenery. Exactly you want from a train view. 🚂
@@georgeheilman4243 Tasmania has some great scenery. 👍😀

I'm guessing the coal is heading to the cement works, looking forward to the next installment.

Yes, the cement works in Railton. Glad you enjoyed it. 👍😀
Nice fine day for late Autumn. They need to build a paved track nearby, so we can accompany the train on bicycles.🚲😄
@@martythemartian99 🤣🤣 Better get pedalling. 👍😀

@@driver667 Yeah!

8:14 Just off to the left of frame, a radio mast with a bit of a lean to it...... was it built by the builders of a certain Italian tower? LOL😁
The 'wide angle lens' on the camera probably causes what looks like a lean of the mast
Could have been the same builders but in reality, I think the second explanation is on the money. 😀😀👍
@neilforbes416 you do wanna pisa (pizza) lol
