- A couple of really nice RL Allan editions here, and something a bit different for the channel here! These were kindly made available for me through a friend of the channel, so I am sharing my thoughts on them here for you!

I have the esv and kjv versions, both very stunning bibles. Never used the nasb but will have to give it ago.

I got my fist verses by verse about a month ago and also happens to be my first KJV. It’s from the main premier Bible brand that you don’t carry-we won’t say the name :-). It has converted me from paragraph to verse by verse. I agree with you. I like that format. The NASB doesn’t carry much market share here in the States either, but those that like it are very loyal. Outside of KJV, I think you are most likely to find verse by verse in NASB. Keep up the good work. You have a good channel.

Burton Bibles I am eventually going to get an Allan at some point. When I do, I’m happy to get it from you. I assume you ship to the US, correct? I have moved from large Bibles that are best for desk reading to small and medium sized for reading in a chair. I would like one that is just a little bit bigger than my Cambridge Clarion, but not much. Is there something that fits that description in the Allan line?
Hi Gary sadly Allan don’t give any sales discount to retailers so I can’t sell them! They operate pretty much a direct model apart from one place in the states I think which is probably more about logistics. It thank you! God bless

Not sure actually but I’d reckon on around an 8 or 9 or font. We’re on lockdown over here, home schooling the kids and business on shut down! Doing Burton Bibles in my spare time so that keeps me busy! Producing content for my church channel as well 👍👌 hope you’re well and coping!
I absolutely love their bindings, especially the full yap, highland goatskin on their 53 Longprimer! However, the Oxford text they use for their Longprimer does not have the italicized words added by the translators in the KJV translation and for some reason that really, really, bothers me? I may have to go with the Cambridge Turquoise in the goatskin even though I prefer the highland goatskin full and generous yaps of Allan. I already have a turquoise by CBP and absolutely love the text. It has quickly become my favorite.
A KJV with that layout and binding would be so amazing. I have dreamed about it.
The coming Topaz KJV should scratch an itch for you! God bless

Could you do a comparison between the Cambridge goatskin concord reference bible and the goatskin topaz please . Both in black. I have the concord in black goatskin and it’s the nicest feeling bible I have ever held, but I would like it in the esv. I’m wondering if the topaz is the closest I’m ever going to get to that . Loving the meticulous review! I’m wondering if you might have possession of an ESV1 and how you might compare it to the NCR in terms of readability and ghosting; with there being no line matching.

I’m a fan of both Bibles as well. Uniquely different characteristics that make them both great for studying Gods Word.

The NASB isn’t as popular in the UK because it has the word “American” in it 😂

I don’t believe so, I believe it is a year or two old 👍
@@BurtonBibles gotcha brother. Have you heard of 316 publishing ? They have some readers nasb cowhide leather and the print is really nice. It's the same as the Allen's but the print is really nice. It only has 28 gsm paper though but I really like the bold print.

Char fleet has poor quality very sloppy. The young bloed binding is superb. I have a 53 charfleet and a 52 Allan young bloed binding and the 52 is perfectly consistent all around Bible and the charfleet bindery is very sloppy the art gilt creeps up into the edges of the pages the cuttings of the pages are off a little just over very sloppy work from charfleet inexcusable for charfleet very bad.
