Still the best pure gaming console of all time imo. Also, Street Fighter II Turbo goes up to 10 stars on SNES too: "After the Capcom logo disappears on the opening credits, press Down, R, Up, L, Y, B on controller 2". I honestly thought this was common knowledge in gamer circles at this point. You know, just like how you actually have to enter a cheat to get blood in the Genesis' version of Mortal Kombat, as it's also not something that's turned on by default there. And, possibly similarly relevant here, you might additionally not be aware there were SNES controllers with 6 buttons on the front like the Hori Fighting Commander gamepad, and best-in-class arcade fight sticks like the C&L Championship Joystick for SNES too. Both are perfect additional controller options if you need as close to an arcade control setup as possible for your Mortal Kombat II and Street Fighter II marathons. The default 6-button controller that comes standard in the box for every SNES owner is still brilliant for fighting games already though--just have to be clear on that. By the way, you seem to make using that SNES controller a lot harder than it actually is at times. In Mario Kart for example, you can just rock your thumb around to hit most buttons, or simply move it over for a moment to press the A button to use items, ya know. Yeah, the later levels in Super Mario World get longer, or certainly harder, at least for me. @@GregsGameRoom I would say yes in principle, but only if you're actually using a controller designed for that way of playing, like the C&L Championship Joystick for SNES for example. The SNES controller is specifically designed for you to hold your right thumb over the main diamond face button arrangement and then move it around or rock it to press all the various buttons and standard button combinations on the face there. It's literally demonstrated pictorially like this in some of the instruction manuals (can't recall which ones). With Super Mario World for example, you're kinda supposed to rest the tip of your thumb on the Y button, so you can hold it down to run and grab items and such, and then rock it down to press the pad of your thumb on the B button to jump at the same time. If you don't do that it's actually a lot harder to keep running at full speed when you then went to press to jump as well. You'd have to literally remove your finger from holding run/grab to press jump without using the rocking method. Well, unless you're using the crab grip or whatever it's called, or something like that. :-o Of course, it's a free world, so each person can obviously use it however they want and prefer. It's like you can't hold a controller properly or something. Can't you press a button while holding down another next to it with the same thumb? this looks very frustrating to play like that.
@@GregsGameRoom no, you don't move your thumb around to different buttons, you hold down the button with one side of your thumb, and hit the other button with the other part of your thumb. i just booted up mario kart to test how i play, and my thumb naturally sits on the accelerator, and i hit the item button with the same thumb without moving it off the accelerator. i dont have big hands or anything either lol
@@bruciekibbutz2947 Yeah, it's kinda funny how someone can make the SNES controller seem complicated. And it's 100% not awkward to use if it's being held properly. In fact, it's the best gamepad of that generation with over two buttons for actually being able to easily rock or lift your thumb across to all the other face buttons very easily and intuitively. The diamond-shaped face button layout is precisely why a game like Super Smash TV is so great to control with a single thumb on SNES. And there's a reason much of this controller's design has become the defacto standard in all modern controllers. Nintendo absolutely nailed it with the SNES controller, especially as the pack-in one that every single SNES owner got as standard. Best in class--no doubt at it.
@@GregsGameRoom Unless you're speedrunning all your games and trying to break world records or something, where literally every millisecond counts, I not sure that's a real problem right there. Just need to relax and rock that thumb over to the button you want to press, and job's a good 'un. :D
Too bad you can't use the Genesis 6-button controller on Snes. I have a Snes hori fighting commander controller that solves the 6 face button problem. Still pales in comparison to the Genesis because of the inferior form factor and same stiff crappy d-pad.
Hmm, well I Don’t think necessarily that RPG’s can be addicting. Maybe I’m wrong. I just don’t think there’s that addicting element. Sure, it can pull you in and suck you in, but as far as addicting RPG… I don’t know really.
Batman is very boring. Not addictive. I was squirming in my seat wanting it to stop. Battletoads. Best western beat-em-up ever? 5/5 - not tempted there. Puzzle Bobble I tried and got to level 100 without losing a life before I got bored. Tried it on hard and died instantly. Final Fight isn't fun. Worst port of Puyo Puyo. MK2 colour me bolwed over you dissed the snes controller and slow laggy game system. Ninja Warriors Return is a beat em up, unlike the titular original, which is shooting. I prefer the original, the Natsume game gets repetitive and you turn it off for that reason. Sim City. Ok... Not even a good version. Starfox is a game? I though it was a proof of concept that was rejected for being almost nothing... I respect the effort with Alien v Predator but I think that was best glossed over. I know some gems on the snes but they are not proper games, they are snes games, a subset of games that don't quite fit the criteria.

There was a code to get the SNES SFII Turbo up to 10 stars.
Yeah. I was just about to say that. And holy hell was it fast too. Lol. Way too fast for me to be able to play it well.
@@blackenedheart9592 i remember using that code and i was luck to get to the 4th stage. smeone once told me that code made the SNES version almost twice as fast as the arcade version. to this day i still believe it
I was lucky enough to have windows 95 and could play Doom and Wolfenstein instead of SNES. I did have them but found out as soon as i started playing that they were going in the next garage sale
Bust a move is such a misleading title.
IMO The Lost Vikings should have made this list!
Is there fatalities on mortal Kombat 2 super Nintendo version
Yes
ive only recently gotten in to the SNES thanks to emulation and the E Shop
Star Fox was another big hit for the SNES. Star Fox was something the Genesis couldn't do or match.
The 4th generation of video games was the best.
The Genesis doesn't have a Batman game as good as Returns? What?! The first Batman game by Sunsoft for the Genesis says hello. Also, Batman Returns on the Sega CD (all driving option) is the stuff caped crusader dreams are made of.
I gotten my Snes mini & and Tinker it to hold a lot more snes games🖐😌👌
Title - 25 addicting games yo u must play.
First game - "not the greatest game but i come back to it occasionally....."
Might be good to make sure the title is accurate to the games your going to showcase.
The Room isn't the best film but it's an absolute must-see.
@@RJBadman if the comment was "it isn't the best game but it's super addictive and I come back to it often" then it wouldn't be an issue. Your concentrating on the first part of the statement. The issue is the second part. The part that says I come back to it occasionally. That's not very " addicting" is it
@@guardianali Calm down chap, you're arguing semantic about the title of a youtube video.
I loved sunset riders I sucked at it though.

18:28 As other have mentioned, that is not how you use the SNES controller unless you are missing a thumb.
Holding the SNES controller like it's an arcade joystick 😅
It's like you can't hold a controller properly or something. Can't you press a button while holding down another next to it with the same thumb? this looks very frustrating to play like that.
Sure. But moving your thumb over to a different button isn’t as fast as having your fingers on each of them.
Bust a move>Tetris
No Zelda or RPGs? meh, not my taste.
Hmm, well I Don’t think necessarily that RPG’s can be addicting. Maybe I’m wrong. I just don’t think there’s that addicting element. Sure, it can pull you in and suck you in, but as far as addicting RPG… I don’t know really.
@@lifespanofafry1534 i love RPGs absurdly./
You haven't played SMW all the way through..? That's a joke, right?
Love your vids but I get triggered every time you say "addicting" instead of "addictive". 😆
No super Metroid? Lame!!!!!!!!
The most overrated console ever.
Really?
What’s #2? The 2600?
Now you're hating with power...
