Bill Lambeer was a huge name in the 80s NBA and was well known for his fighting. He was basically an enforcer and would legit swing on people. I think when they went to make the game, they couldn't get an NBAPA agreement so just kept the combat, added the future and there you go.
Love that you say Double Dragon V's graphics are "kinda cartoony"... its actually based off the Double Dragon cartoon series that was running at the time. Fun fact that I read somewhere... apparently stuff like Double Dragon V happened because Tradewest thought their deal with Technos Japan gave them more rights than they actually did, they thought they were allowed to use the Double Dragon characters in other games, which led to not only this but also the Battletoads crossover game... neither of which can be re-released now because in fact, no, Technos did NOT authorize those.
Bebe's Kids is based off of a 1992 animated film that was based off of the late comedian Robin Harris stand up routine about his girlfriend's terrible children. The stand up was hilarious... the movie was terrible. Oddly it came out 2 years after he passed away. Someone else played his part - I feel like they started it while he was alive and he passed away during filming so they hired someone else to redo/finish his lines.
The same [late] Robin Harris who appeared as a bartender in I'm Gonna Git You Sucka / Kid's dad in House Party - while its archive footage was reused for the sequel. Also, a pre-Friday/Money Talks/BAPS/Elf Faizon Love voiced the animated incarnation of him.

Not gonna lie... I actually really like Mario is Missing. When I was a kid and my dad took me to rent games, I often would rent it. English is not my first language, however (Brazilian Portuguese is), and at the time I didn't know English. My dad would help me with some of the texts sometimes when I'd ask but that aside, I actually played it by myself and through trial and error on the choices, I'd manage to make progress and even beat the game a few times. That coupled with my dad helping me with some of the texts even helped me learn some English. When I understood what you are supposed to do in the game then it became much easier to play by myself. It also helped that I knew some history, so to figure out some of the "quests" was made much easier by that fact. Regardless, I always found enjoyment in Mario is Missing.
Agreed and well said! No doubt game would be perfect for non-English speakers to learn from... another great reason to play it. Seems most criticizing this game today don't understand its audience at all, nor do they care to grasp the point and/or intended flow of the game, so they wrongfully dismiss is as "bad". I posted a similar comment about my experience... I'll repost here: Most who commonly tear this game apart these days forget it was designed to be a young kid's game (in addition to being educational), like Carmen Sandiego but I'd argue for an even slightly younger audience. I was about 7 when I played it, and I enjoyed it immensely at the time. It was a lot of reading for me at that age, and that's what made it so satisfying when I used the information I read myself to get to the next city. The somewhat mindless exploration of each city and jumping on familiar koopa troopas was just enough 'action' to be the perfect balance for little me.
9:17 You talked about the music chugging because of the graphics. The SNES has a completely independent sound processor with its own internal CPU and memory. The main CPU can grind to a halt and the SPU will keep playing music. The CPU only tells the SPU which tracks and sound effects to play (i.e. something like "play track 4", "stop music", "play sound effect 2"). The chugging music is likely just bad composition for a bad game. I guess it could be maybe too many sound effects being played at once, but in that case, I believe the SPU would just start cutting off sound effects, rather than chugging because of too much action on screen.
Agreed with all except for Mario is Missing. Most who commonly tear this game apart these days forget it was designed to be a young kid's game (in addition to being educational), like Carmen Sandiego but I'd argue for an even slightly younger audience. I also had terrible games like Race Drivin', and rightfully couldn't stand them... so despite my age, I still knew when a game was objectively bad IoI
Exactly this. While this type of content is ultimately based on opinion at the end of the day, with those criticizing Mario is Missing it's often more a case of misunderstanding. It's designed to be a chiIdren's game where you're SUPPOSED to sit back and read a lot (both in learning about the world and reading maps), obtain information by jumping on the koopa troopas, then with basic reading comprehension you apply that knowledge and progress to the next area. I get that people expect a platformer and feel misled by the branding, but once you grasp what it's supposed to be it's not a bad game at all imo.
@@GregsGameRoom It certainly is. And I frequently notice most of its detractors forgetting its target audience. Still free to your opinion of course, just wished you gave it more time to at least finish the first area. Btw I enjoy your content and appreciate the response 👍🏽
Ah yes. Bebe's Kids. So i was 14 in 1998 when we bought a SNES at discount with Killer Instinct as the paxk in game. Because by this time people were dumping their SNES and Genesis systems in favor of those fancy schmanzy PS1s, N64s, and Saturns, I was able to score classic SNES games for $10-$15 at the local flea markets. And one day after I got off a part time job I had working weekends at a flea market, I went to buy some games. I scored Super Mario All Stars and Zombies Ate My Neighbors. As I was leaving, I saw Bebe's Kids at the bottom of the pile for $1. And I realized why. I also found it boring, monotonous, with horriblegame mechanics, and after watching the cartoon that it was based off of, puzzled as to why these kids were the heroes.
So I looked up that Home Improvement game because the visual style looked very Euro-platformer to me, which seemed weird for a game based on an American sitcom. But I was wrong, turns out it was developed by former Activision founders Dan Kitchen and David Crane- yes, the creator of Pitfall and A Boy and His Blob was partly responsible for this! I couldn't believe it.
I remember back in the day my Uncle renting, The Rocketeer and Lester the unlikely, Saw him play them 5 min each and then took them back lmao, Went and got Super Off-Road and NHLPA Hockey '93 instead, Good times.
Thank you very much a very much have been enjoying your Channel just finding it tonight and then the time where both my mind and health are failing play this video has really given me a great comfort tonight
Most of the games in this video were made by Western game studios who either didn't know how the SNES worked, or they had to meet deadlines to ship the games out to the public... and forgot to thoroughly test for bugs and other mistakes.
Bebe's Kids a force so terrifying majors cities sound the evacuation alarm if word arrives that Bebe's Kids are on approach. And yes that is actually part of the movie from what I've read.
Bebe's Kids was based off an animated movie, which I believe was based off a skit by a stand-up comedian. I actually rented Mario is Missing once. It came with a photocopied instruction manual. I could tell you a few things about how to play the game, but honestly, the game would be better if it were more compact. Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego is an infinitely superior game to that one, and it's even in the same genre. Oh boy, Pit-Fighter. My older brother was a fan of that back in the arcades, so when he got the opportunity, he rented it on the SNES. And WOW was it a stinker! I was never a fan of the game, myself, but I saw him play both versions, and even I could see which one was better! And Rocketeer! I watched my brother play that game on the SNES, too, when he rented it! I never played it myself. Mainly because I watched my bro play it and I'm all, "nah, I'm good." My bro actually BEAT the game, btw; after the Bee Gee racing stages, you get to do MORE racing stages...as the Rocketeer. He's faster. Then the rest of the game is an uninspired platformer. BTW, considering you played Space Ace, you should check out Dragon's Lair on the SNES. It's also not good, but it's a bit better.
Just wondering if you look at the manuals for these games? I just Googled the American Gladiators manual and it's very specific about which controls to use for which event. I guess it still might be a lousy game, but surely check the instructions to give it half a chance.
Wow you never figured out you have to stomp koopas in Mario is Missing. Ouch... Might have helped if you at least had knock back instead of walking through them to show they are still enemies. I have Pit Fighter. I saw it on top of a pile in the dumpster one day. I think I paid too much, pulling it out and I still got better games that were in the same bag with it ;p
Bill Laimbeer was chosen as the mascot for Combat Basketball because he played on the Detroit Pistons during the Bad Boy Era. He was notorious for his extensive record of personal/flagrant fouls.
Bebe's kids came from a stand up comedy routine by the late Robin Harris. Basically, it was about a family of kids, living in the Hood, that were out of control. There was an adult animated movie made about them in the early 90s. His stand up routine was good but the movie was about as good as this game based on it. I'm sure some folks liked the movie but I paid to see it in the theater and remember being disappointed upon leaving there.
9:52 Not many people remember this (which is good) but there was a "Where's Waldo" cartoon on Saturday mornings for kids who didn't have cable and were stuck watching crap like the "Where's Waldo" cartoon. Memorable features included magic carpets, Middle Eastern caricatures, and points where the show ground to a halt so the kids at home could search for Waldo in still images. It didn't last long (which is good) but it did spawn this game.
I loved Bebes Kids when I was like 5-6 but NEVER KNEW THERE WAS A GAME!! Been watching for a weeks now and you sir definitely just earned a sub 💯 I shall be dusting off the SNES VERY SOON 💯😁
I was half expecting to see “Best of the Best Championship Karate” on here. That was easily one of the worst video games I’ve ever played. I should mention I am one of the few fans of Lester the Unlikely, but I do understand why people don’t like it. It takes a lot of practice to get used to the controls.
Ooof! So many... not so good memories. Where do I begin? Well, I remember renting American Gladiators back in the day, both the NES and SNES versions, and thank you for saying the NES version was better; the arcade style of it, like The Wall being gigantic and maze-like was way more tense than the SNES version. Also, the NES version of Assault has no breaks in the action as you dash towards the gun and try to fire at a MOVING TARGET that you must hit THREE TIMES instead of a stationary one you must hit once with a clunky aiming meter. As for the SNES version of The Wall, IIRC, you climb by mashing L and R, same thing for The Eliminator. For Human Cannonball, IIRC, the power meter, (the one of the left), must be at 75% and aim of course at 50%, you also need to tuck your legs before hitting the gladiator. (That was a rule in the actual show that was added in the second season after gladiators kept getting hurt from taking basically 30 MPH dropkicks!) Batman Forever... Yeah, it sucks forever! Bébé's Kids: This was based on an animated film which itself was based on a stand-up routine performed by the late Robin Harris. The routine basically involved Harris getting badgered into babysitting the children of a lady named Bébé who'd always end up annoying Harris. The kids' catchphrase was "We don't die, we _multiply!"_ The movie basically built on the routine into a proper film story. Sadly, Robin Harris died during the movie's production, so Faizon Love would end up voicing him in animation, though Harris still appears in live action at the beginning. Double Dragon V... Can you tell Technos Japan was in dire straights at the time? For one, they had no involvement in the game at all! As you already mentioned, it was Tradewest who had the license to the IP and were basically given free reign to have Leland Interactive Media make this mess. At least they made better games in the past like Ivan "Ironman" Sturat's Super Off Road and Danny Sullivan's Indy Heat, play those instead! Paperboy 2. Me and my cousin used to play that one a lot. Why it wasn't as good as the original, I don't know. At least it allows two players to duel in the obstacle course. The Genesis version is better, it more resembles the arcade version of the original game, and it even gives you a bunnyhop to let you jump back onto the sidewalk instead of having to use a driveway! Race Drivin'! The Game Boy version is much better. No, really! That version was developed by Argonaut, same people who made Star Fox. Nuff said! Revolution X: Why they tried porting that to SNES? And why no Super Scope or Justifier support? I'm sure the PS1 version is better. Space Ace... "Hmm hmm"? Hmm hmm... *HMM HMM!?* The Wizard of Oz... That game almost makes me wish the movie was never made, but the movie is a deserved classic so... Yeah, who thought the game was a good idea? Worst part, when Dorthy meets a new character, they only get ONE LIFE! And if they die, they're out of the game for good and you can't win even though it's not game over!
A friend and I were playing Revolution X and it was pretty boring. He Game Overed and I kept going. He got up and went to the bathroom and by the time he came back I had beaten it 😂. He was so mad he sat thru most of it and didn't see the ending
You mentioned AVGN for Batman Forever, but I'm surprised you didn't bring up AVGN's episode on Hong Kong '97. That was the first time I heard of that game. Evidently the guy that made that game was insane.
I had Space Ace as a kid and I got exactly as far as you did - maybe less actually as I remember not being able to jump across to the platform despite it being an obvious jump. A complete waste of however much money my mum spent on it. I think that's a part of gaming during that era that many people forget: owning a game as a kid and it being so obtuse or difficult that it's only playable for a couple of minutes. Just a couple of other duffers I owned: Battletoads in Battlemaniacs (SNES) - 2.5 fantastic levels (cos I'm counting the bonus stage) and that's all there is. I managed to beat the hoverbike stage when I played it via emulation using save states only to find that it's all downhill from there. Did Rare just give up during development? Bart and The Beanstalk (GB) - I reached the second level exactly once. I tried it recently as an adult and gave up very quickly. Slow, precise gameplay with a very short area of visibility. A tedious, dull and frustrating game. Nice box art though (I guess that's part of why I chose it - doh!).
@@GregsGameRoom The first 2 levels are good - frankly they're some of the best beat-em-up action ever made - and the bonus stage has some welcome World of Illusion vibes, but the rest of the game (which is only 3 levels and a final boss, if I'm remembering correctly) is just a memory test of one-hit kills. Like I say, it's like Rare ran out of time or deliberately sabotaged their own game or something, it's so bizarre. Even when playing with save states, I couldn't beat it. I got stuck on the track level where you're being chased. No idea what I was doing wrong, although I'm sure the internet at the time said that just the small amount of lag created by emulation made that level next to impossible. I don't claim to know how true that is - and it was so long ago - but it certainly felt impossible at the time. Such a waste of an otherwise great beat-em-up.
This is a fun video, as I played nearly all of these myself back when you could still rent games from video stores. I don't feel like you gave American Gladiators a fair shake though, since while some of the controls are a bit cryptic, you could have looked them up online. My brother and and I figured it out back in the day, but we also played goofy shit like "World Games" for the nes. Trial and error before the days of the internet. I will say though that knowing how to control that game doesn't make it a hidden gem by any means, but it's worth a rental, especially growing up watching the show.
You, sir, are correct. You need to know all the mechanics (begs taunts fatalities etc), all the moves, and all the morphs, and then find someone else who appreciates the game and knows the same ... And then it's legit. It's only bad if you don't know how to play , which is understandable.
@@GregsGameRoom it took only a couple seconds and I was like, nope! Lol. Can't watch this much longer. Crazy how I'm 43 and I've never heard of or ever seen that snes game before. Obviously it's a good thing I didn't. Lol
Rise of the robots is particularly funny because it was touted as being a revolutionary game with amazing artificial intelligence and a Brian May song! Let it comes out and there's absolutely no characters the enemies you do fight just March forward without any variation and the Brian May song was a 2-second loop of a track from one of his solo albums
BéBé's Kids is a sad imitation of both The Simpsons Arcade Game and B. Rap Boys. As a Double Dragon fan, Both "The Shadow Falls" and the cartoon it was based on are both the worst ideas of all time. Hong Kong '97 is the most hilarious but also the most eerie concept for a bootleg game (just like Lester). Pit-Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct… Those arcade fighters are built for the N64, not the Super NES. Batman Forever… The arcade game is miles better.
Not sure if I agree about Mario is Missing. I feel like the only fair comparison for a game like that, is to something like Mario's Time Machine and similar edutainment games from around the same era. Chances are that if you didn't like Mario is Missing, you wouldn't like any of the others. To be fair to you, I would agree that Mario is Missing is a weaker game than Mario's Time Machine, because Mario's Time Machine has a surfing minigame and also lets you fill in the questions at any time.
Agreed 100%. Kid-me thoroughly enjoyed both games back in the day, and I still respect the niche both of them delivered. It's unfortunate how many looking back at them with today's lens faiI to understand what they were, and thus give up before they grasp the flow and mechanics... case in point with this video.
Stumbled on this channel and this guy’s voice and enunciation is so astonishingly similar to SNESDrunk that I thought it absolutely had to be the same guy, until…he made it clear he had no idea who Bill Lambieer is. That’s proof enough for me.
You can pick more then one robot in Rise of the Robots, its just limited to the two player mode. in there you can play as all of the robots in the game.
There is a secret move combo that allows you to beat up the enemies in Bebe's Kids in just 3-4 hits, but nobody who played the game knew right off. Don't worry, I've seen playthroughs of this game - it does NOT get any better after the first stage.
Ooh! Hong Kong ‘97! That game has a whole backstory. I don’t remember the details now, but I watch a video on it. Sort of a conspiracy sort of thing. IIRC it had some ties to organized crime. I’ll have to go back and looked into it again.
I could have used this information 35 years ago. I spent a lot of my money from delivering news papers every morning on terrible games. Once you bought a terrible game you were stuck with it. No GameStop to resell it to and no game review videos and game review magazines were too expensive for me back then.
Sadly, I remember a LOT of these games and none of them are redeemable. 😂 I also remember seeing Bebe’s kids when I was younger, a movie that was also pretty much like the game, nothing to write home about.
Ok. Firstly, its something when you discover a game can be made for 2 different consoles and for some reason or other they simply change the title. Such as just hearing while at work that you were trying out 'Race Drivin'..By your description alone I knew you were also talking about 'Hard Drivin', which i owned as a kid and actually found some fair fun in. Oh snap.. almost forgot! Just throwing homie a bone as just under your vid was a recently made video recommendation on Pit Fighter---> th-cam.com/video/xgxsuYlcyTE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ZDQawDRQpHWWWVkO
When playing The Rocketter once you race with the jet pack guy (the Rocketter) you have to land the jet pack guy on the yellow plane’s wing. Once you do this you advance to the next stage.
Revolution X is such a shame. There are *no* good ports of the game, not even the Saturn or PlayStation versions which you'd *think* would be arcade-perfect due to the hardware.
Good futuristic sports games of the 80s and 90s BaseWars NES, MegaMan Soccer thought the ending is glitched and Mutant League on Genesis they had Football and Hockey. I'd love to see a Mutant Hockey League like the spiritual successor Mutant Football League on Switch.
I had Batman Forever when I was a kid. I never figured out how to use the grappling hook so I never even made it to the second floor so I absolutely hated it. My mom always wanted me to play it though because I guess it was expensive and I would just get so pissed off because I could've been playing DKC or Mario or hell any other game I had that was better.
From these trash games i would like to own: Rise of the Robots, Batman Forever, Lester the Unlikely, Revolution X, and Double Dragon V, maybe The Wizard of Oz?
Mario Is Missing gets so much hate, and it's easy to see why as we all thought it was the next "Mario" game back in 93. It's a good edutainment title, but the fact that it seems deceitful is why it gets hate. The best thing about it is the soundtrack. The Mario Is Missing soundtrack is FANTASTIC! Give it a listen!
So I don't know if this game counts as one of the worst I guess it isn't. It is a playable game but the controls are flawed and the difficulty is pretty brutal. Super play action football. I used to have that game and I kept playing it for some reason and was trying to make the game be good by playing it more and it turns out I liked playing in the high school league because you can create a custom team with custom colors and custom name and it's as simple as that the players are automatically generated, and it's not as challenging doing the high school league. Doing the college league gets pretty challenging and for whatever reason and maybe I just finally had gotten a lot better at the game but I succeeded playing as Portsmouth even though I don't think they've ever been known for being great at football but then when trying the NFL level in that game it's just so difficult. So brutally difficult and part of it does have to do with the games controls. Not to mention you're moving in a diagonal path but the way you control on the d-pad matches what you see on some kind of tracker screen to the left that's translucent where you go up and down to actually move diagonally upright and diagonally down left and if you press right you'll actually go diagonally downright and left you'll actually go diagonally up left. It's awkward to control like this. I mean you just want to press up and right at the same time to go upright but doing that will just send you to the right. It's just ridiculous
I was victim to Mario is Missing Christmas 1993. Didn't know it was an eductation game until I put it in the machine - beat it the next day - wasn't even fun. Got two more games a few days later - Family Feud - which was terrible, and Secret of Mana - which was one of the best games I ever played - and still is. If it weren't for Secret of Mana, my Christmas would have been ruined...LOL.
6:23 Oh yes Hell yeah to the AVGN review of Batman forever but you never saw the nostalgia critic review of bébé's kids? It was back when the nerd and the critic had that feud going on and took on the challenge of doing the other person's job whereas the nerd reviewed a rocky parody film called Ricky one and nostalgia critic reviewed that awful SNES game Bebe's Kids.
Bebbe's kids was based on Robin Harris standup and it was also a cartoon, with the tagline we don't die we multiply. Weird I know. It's about as cringy as it sounds. Ah the 90's
Robin Harris was a stand up comedian in the 90's. He was also pops in the very first kid n play movie. And he was in a few others as well before he passed away
I didn’t hate Paperboy 2, but the controls seem difficult. The bike doesn’t seem to have much range of motion. You can only steer a little bit so you hit everything.
Paperboy 2 and Space Football are bad games but I love them due to nostalgia. (my mother bought them back in the day) I do like some of the songs in Space Football's soundtrack but when you take the nostalgia glasses off, it's obvious Paperboy 2 was poorly made but could have been better, and Space Football is just not a good game. Probably would have been better had it been made much later when technology had advanced. Also, when Rocket League got popular, my mind immediately went back to Space Football.

Most who commonly tear this game apart these days forget it was designed to be a young kid's game (in addition to being educational), like Carmen Sandiego but I'd argue for an even slightly younger audience.
Man, am I glad I found this channel! So good looking back at all the classics and not so classics.
When I searched “bad snes games” it was frequently mentioned.
@@GregsGameRoom It certainly is. And I frequently notice most of its detractors forgetting its target audience. Still free to your opinion of course, just wished you gave it more time to at least finish the first area. Btw I enjoy your content and appreciate the response 👍🏽
Your mission is to go back to the early 90's and not let me rent any of these games from Pic-A-Flick thereby ruining my weekend.
Great video !!! Most only show the best games.
The Rocketeer for the SNES was the worst and disappointing game I've ever played in my childhood.
Thank you very much a very much have been enjoying your Channel just finding it tonight and then the time where both my mind and health are failing play this video has really given me a great comfort tonight
Glad it helps you, even if it's just a little bit. :D
BeBe's kids was a movie that came out in the 90s. It was terrible you didn't miss anything at all.
Can’t believe there was a game.
BeBe's Kids had a lot of humor that Greg probably wouldn't pick up on.
I grew up in Detroit, and I can't figure out why Bill Lambeer got his own crappy basketball game.
Lol in hindsight, he was a great women's basketball coach so why not 😂 but at the time someone commented enforcer.
Most of the games in this video were made by Western game studios who either didn't know how the SNES worked, or they had to meet deadlines to ship the games out to the public... and forgot to thoroughly test for bugs and other mistakes.
Funny how games were invented in the west but perfected in the east…
Bebe's Kids a force so terrifying majors cities sound the evacuation alarm if word arrives that Bebe's Kids are on approach. And yes that is actually part of the movie from what I've read.
Ballz 3D is an un-rendered version of Rise of the Robots.
I can’t decide which is worse.
@@GregsGameRoom Hahahaha! Yeah, I understand...sadly, I understand. Ha!
I own most of these games. And I can confirm that they suck.
Balls game really is balls.
The most aptly named game ever.
I also had really high hopes for Home Improvement
9:52 Not many people remember this (which is good) but there was a "Where's Waldo" cartoon on Saturday mornings for kids who didn't have cable and were stuck watching crap like the "Where's Waldo" cartoon. Memorable features included magic carpets, Middle Eastern caricatures, and points where the show ground to a halt so the kids at home could search for Waldo in still images. It didn't last long (which is good) but it did spawn this game.
Can't believe someone got paid to make these games...
7:02 Oh look, it's Bitmap Brothers' SPEEDBALL but a "Basketball" game lol
The original game was a decent Amiga game inspired by Speedball 2 called Future Basketball, made by Hewson
I loved Bebes Kids when I was like 5-6 but NEVER KNEW THERE WAS A GAME!! Been watching for a weeks now and you sir definitely just earned a sub 💯 I shall be dusting off the SNES VERY SOON 💯😁
3:18 the whole 3D fighting craze began with War Gods
I was half expecting to see “Best of the Best Championship Karate” on here. That was easily one of the worst video games I’ve ever played. I should mention I am one of the few fans of Lester the Unlikely, but I do understand why people don’t like it. It takes a lot of practice to get used to the controls.
Most redeeming thing about Paper Boy 2 was its music... which is literally a poor man's version of the Seinfeld theme
Ooof! So many... not so good memories.
(That was a rule in the actual show that was added in the second season after gladiators kept getting hurt from taking basically 30 MPH dropkicks!)
Batman Forever...
"Hmm hmm"? Hmm hmm... *HMM HMM!?*
The Wizard of Oz... That game almost makes me wish the movie was never made, but the movie is a deserved classic so... Yeah, who thought the game was a good idea? Worst part, when Dorthy meets a new character, they only get ONE LIFE! And if they die, they're out of the game for good and you can't win even though it's not game over!
Batman Forever resembles MK so much because they were both released by Akklaim on SNES. The gadgets required MK-like special move commands
Ok, this was a good list. Plus, it brought me to your Channel…BUUUUT…Double Dragon V was super easy and was in 5th grade when it came out…
I always thought the developer really missed out by not naming it “Bill Lambeer’s Combat Basketbrawl.”
A friend and I were playing Revolution X and it was pretty boring. He Game Overed and I kept going. He got up and went to the bathroom and by the time he came back I had beaten it 😂. He was so mad he sat thru most of it and didn't see the ending
Haha, classic!
Just a couple of other duffers I owned:
Battletoads in Battlemaniacs (SNES) - 2.5 fantastic levels (cos I'm counting the bonus stage) and that's all there is.
Oh, I thought Battlemaniacs was good? Guess I need to get further into it.
Youve covered some games i havent seen on SNES Drunk. Nice job.
While I disagree with a few choices I really liked this video overall. Good job sir.
Bebe's Kids music sounds like how every song these days is made
The expression on the blue dude face says it all 😂😂😂😂😂
Haha
I actually liked ballz-3d 😅
You, sir, are correct. You need to know all the mechanics (begs taunts fatalities etc), all the moves, and all the morphs, and then find someone else who appreciates the game and knows the same ... And then it's legit. It's only bad if you don't know how to play , which is understandable.
Road Riot 4WD looks like they tried to mashup Quad Challenge and Roadblasters
That's it in a nutshell.
Holy hell, that 3d football game you showed will make you nauseous fast! Damn.
I’m still queasy from playing it.
I can't imagine the horror a child must have experienced on Christmas morning when they unwrapped a copy of fuckin Home Improvement...
Genesis did a respectable version of Pit Fighter. The SNES version just needed more competent programmers.
That laugh in ballz 3d will forever haunt my nightmares
The main problem with the Home Improvement game (as the Nintendo Power mini-review put it) is that it lacks the TV show's humor.
Oh jeez, SNES Drunk sounds way better than me!
No doubt it doesn’t.
Gladiators just rebooted on TV in the UK so the urge to play this is strongggg
They’ve tried to reboot it a few times but it hasn’t worked. Did you see the documentary on Netflix?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Cant believe the Devs Released the Fart sounds on that Racing Game
Yeah he was a comedian in the early 90s. They made a cartoon based off of him. He was killed in a car wreck or something
Ballz 3d was actually kind of fun on Genesis, once you learn how to cheese the game it gets pretty hilarious.
i love how in Bebe's Kids you can beat up NPCs that look like Bill Clinton
In regards to Lester (considering this was produced almost a decade ago) - th-cam.com/video/7rt7eRMk2ZY/w-d-xo.html
It could have been good with some tweaks. I guess it’s the SNES equivalent to Greendog!
Race Drivin on the SNES is the worst version of the game, even the Gameboy version is better.
Maybe because the lack of resolution and color depth helps the Gameboy?
@@GregsGameRoom Idk the Genesis version is a lot better and it's a fellow 16 bit version. Idk what they were doing on the SNES port
the Bill Lambeer game was $1 a few years ago. so I picked it up. it's brutal. but after some practice I figured it out. but yeah frustrating.
Also, re: futuristic sports games, the Mutant League Football games were fun.
Paperboy 2 was so addictive. I won't sit here and accept this slander lol
Balls 3D was just a joke don't understand why they made this😂
I had Batman Forever when I was a kid.
I asked for Mortal Kombat 3 for my birthday in October 1995 and I got Ballz instead….
Yeah, all these SNES games are complete and utter turds. I look forward to the equivalent Genesis list.
Oh, it’s coming…
Rise of the Robots was trash. I rented the game and it was not fun to play. The game was over-hyped and it failed to live up to it.
14:13 in case you change your mind about the back story
th-cam.com/video/Dt2OFS22dpk/w-d-xo.html
Did they just recycle the music from SNES Terminator 2 for Last Action Hero?
I was victim to Mario is Missing Christmas 1993. Didn't know it was an eductation game until I put it in the machine - beat it the next day - wasn't even fun. Got two more games a few days later - Family Feud - which was terrible, and Secret of Mana - which was one of the best games I ever played - and still is. If it weren't for Secret of Mana, my Christmas would have been ruined...LOL.
Ouch! That’s a painful story!
Sigh, it's not "culturally inappropriate"
Lost me there...anyone who mentions that or other terms like PC lose all interest to me
American Gladiators is sweet. Just seems like you couldn't figure out what to do. I recommend looking up the controls and replaying it.
I might. But there's just so many games out there...
I suggest you don't. No point on getting good on a shitty game.😂@@GregsGameRoom
It was absolutely brutal but I fricken loved American Gladiators 😂
I kinda enjoy Paperboy 2 as a short time waster.
I could find other more enjoyable ways to waste time…
I didn’t hate Paperboy 2, but the controls seem difficult. The bike doesn’t seem to have much range of motion. You can only steer a little bit so you hit everything.
I honestly really enjoyed Batman forever. The controls definitely take some getting use to but when you do, It’s not too bad.
This video is amazing if you like watching someone who sucks at gaming complain about games he hasn't played.
