    Thank you for helping us with this error and repair. I understood everything you said. But, I already paid repair service a deposit, $100, to replace the fan motor, $350 total. I'll check your channel first, next time.

    Thank you so much for this video. I wouldn't have attempted this motor replacement without it!! Although I have a different model LG French door model I was able to get the motor replaced. You should be very proud of your professional presentation. Again, thanks☺

    Nice job! Thanks for going back and filming the repair process. FYI, your English is excellent...for a second language, I had no issues following you.

    Thanks, Peter! Directions were perfect. Took me 45 mins from the turning off the breaker & removing the inside shelves to cleaning the shelves and putting the stuff inside.

    My daughter purchased the LG LFXS32726S refrigerator about three years ago as a gift for me, she paid approximately $2,600. To date, I have paid approximately $1,200 in repairs. The first repair was $1,000 to replace the compressor and fan motor assembly. Now, the unit constantly displays the "E rf" error code. The problem with my model is the fan motor assembly freezing up. This is due to the fan motor assembly being too small for this unit and therefore, it freezes up causing the ice maker and refrigerator to stop working. LG is no help at all! They are very aware this and similar units have this issue but will not issue a recall. Instead, they want to charge $125 to send a technician to diagnose the problem, plus any charges to repair. They already know what the problem is, so $125 for a diagnosis is a total rip-off. I'm not aware of a permanent fix, only that you need to remove the ice and frost buildup on the fan to get it to work again. Three weeks ago, I paid $200 for a serviceman to remove the ice with a steamer. Two days ago, the issue has returned. (NOTE: as a temporary fix, I can turn off and on again the circuit breaker switch for the refrigerator. It will work again, but no telling how long before the error code shows up again.) I'm at a crossroads what to do. I can't afford to pay $200 once a month to de-ice the fan. I don't want to buy a new refrigerator because I'm going to be selling my house, and if I don't include it with the sale, I don't know if it will fit where I move to. With this said, before I decide to either repair or replace, I will be posting this on numerous social media platforms, as well as several product review websites, including LG's Support Community Forum. Ideally, I would like to get the attention of a decision-maker at LG who will commit to resolving this issue free of charge. To anyone who may read this, I welcome any suggestions and/or advice. Thank you.

      @@arwinbuditomo1050 I have the same exact model and it does not making any cooling. Added the 134a. Verified the thermistor and circuit board. The compressor seems to running but no cooling at all.

      My mother purchased LG LFXS32726S refrigerator brand new two years ago. Started posting Refrigerator Error Code E, and Freezer Error Code CF today. Shut off for 5 min reset the unit and is working, don't trust it won't come back. Ordering fan motors and will replace them. Hope it fixes the problem.

      Same here. I renamed LG to LB (Life is Bad if you own it). LG is everywhere in my home. Now will be no more.

      Sorry for your "bad website" experience. I almost placed order there - but something stopped me before pushing that "submit" button - "too good to be true" - and I google that site and found a lot of bad reviews. Some suggests that credit card account need to change as they use client's credit card for their own purchases - check your statement).

    First of all thank you for posting this. My similar Kenmore is doing the EXACT same thing. Did you see an obvious reason why the old fan was making that noise?

    • @PetyaKaluzny
      @PetyaKaluzny  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for comment. Fan is making noise [little] even when I keep motor in one hand and spin blade with the other one, so noise coming from motor's bearing. I did not see anything that could cause that problem inside fridge [from normal operation], so my only guess that this fan has manufacturing problem, like small particles/dust that got into motor's bearings during assembly and than slowly damaged those bearings). Old fan is still in working condition [I am keeping it and swapped it with new one couple of weeks ago for a short time - it still works with the same noise].

      I removed that broken fan from fridge,and read it's part number. Other methods I consider not very reliable. Good luck.
