Never thought I'd see a Cybertruck but I actually saw one the other day. On a trailer being pulled by a diesel.
I've seen four. Two parked. One turning a corner. One trying to get out of a tiny parking structure where it was too big to squeeze through the gate and damaged part of the side structure. He just drove off, with probably ten thousand dollars worth of damage to his side panels.
I actually thought they were all recalled and not supposed to be on the road because of the accelerator pedal sticking. 🤔 But I did see one driving in a parking lot. Simply ugly as can be. 😅
Tesla place by our house. The whole lot is full of them they were recalled and no one wants them.

The amount of window glass on the cyber truck makes the passenger cabin feel like a terrarium on a sunny day. Switch on the AC and you lose distance big time.
AC in a Tesla has almost no impact at all on the range. It's fine to not like it, but don't just make stuff up.

Actually, Tesla released an instruction sheet advising users that in higher temperature circumstances the AC should be reduced or turned off to reduce drain of charge. HaHaHa.
BTW... all air conditioners are energy pigs; the component is called a COMPRESSOR. If Tesla has invented a new AC system that counters applied physics it should go into the airconditioner business -- world-wide -- and make more money than manufacturing subsidized environmentally negative money pits that will depreciate to ZERO $$$ when their batteries need to be replaced.
@@daves2624Actually the Tesla heat pump is so efficient, there were rumors they may go into the home hvac market and disrupt it. Their heat pump uses negligible energy and is one of the advances Tesla has over other EV makers that use off the shelf compressors.

I have owned three Lincolns. My current daily driver is a 2002 Lincoln Town Car that I bought in 2007.
I agree with you that the Town Car is an amazing car. I wish they still made them.

This is also why having a dealership and or mechanic you can trust is priceless. The Chevy/Buick dealer I bought my last two cars from has always been incredible. Parts, service, and sales have been the best experience ever had with a dealer. There is an independent shop in my area I have used for over 10 years for minor things like brakes and rotors and other minor things. Theyre great too. But man I have had some horrible experiences at other places. You know a shop is good when you bring a car in on a Tuesday and they admit to you that they're so busy it will take a week for them to get to your car. May sound like a bad thing but when you see they're the ones working all of the County DPS and Sheriff's department vehicles, I think they know what they're doing. They even call me and ask if I want to go buy the needed parts myself to save money. I mean, who does that?! If you aren't doing it yourself, find a shop like that
The steel panels came flying off today the panels came popping off like junk when the guy drove it into a ditch. Made with cheap aluminum underneath.

It's too bad that Lincoln isn't making many vehicles these days. My current daily driver is a 2002 Lincoln Town Car that I bought in 2007. Lincoln discontinued the Town Car after the 2011 model year. 😢😢
Friend of mine just took delivery, there are enough poor weather striping to make me wonder how water doesn’t flood the truck during a storm.
I used to buy Lincoln Towncars and the first one I owned as a young professional was new in 1988. Back then a young guy was cool driving a new Lincoln and I loved it. My last new Lincoln was 1995, I hated the body change after that and the next new car I bought was the 2004 Mercury Marauder which was so much nicer then the Towncar that year, at least to me. I have had the Marauder 20 years now and it looks and runs like a new car and I get compliments everywhere I go on it. I guess I should thank Lincoln and the other auto makers for all the money they are saving me as there is nothing new today that I want to own. Here I was a loyal Lincoln customer for years and now I don't even want to ride in one; are they actually trying to go out of business?

Scotty, you have caused me to keep what I have, 2015 Ford Flex, 2004 Ford Ranger and a 2004 Volvo s70 station wagon. They have been serviced regularly and on time. Keep them waxed. Was considering a Ford Maverick. Will possibly purchase a Toyota Truck after your review. Nothing with a Tarboro charger. I would not consider a electric car. Thanks for you do for us.

I used to have a Lincoln Continental and I loved it. I have always preferred Lincoln to Caddy, especially the Marks. I hate they are struggling so badly. Makes me want to go out and buy one.

Test drove the new Tacoma and all I can say is that if you own previous V6 model, hang on to it lol, the new ones are awful.

The Tesla Cybertruck looks like something someone made in their garage or in high school metal shop.
Not only is the Tesla not a truck it is dangerous and ugly.
I have two JDM vehicles in Canada 🇨🇦 no problem with parts might take few weeks, great gas mileage & they never let me down

I drove a 2003 Jetta for years and had few problems. I had the basic 2.0 liter non-turbo model with a manual transmission. The Denso a/c compressor worked great too. The glove box latch and trunk release actuator were junky plastic. Fun to drive.

I own a 2008 Ford Explorer. This thing has a chrome-coated trim on the dashboard and around the front grille. This chrome is cracking and beginning to peel off. The edges of this stuff is very sharp. If you are detailing the interior, you stand a good chance of cuts while cleaning the dashboard. The front grille will shred a sponge while cleaning the outside of the vehicle.

I'd like to know where they cut the veggies. Is it right by the hinge? If so, I think all hoods will cut veggies at this point in comparison. I am not a fan of the cyber truck but I am for fair testing.
Also, don't forget that Japanese cars originally made for their home domestic market are all Right Hand Drive and the speedometer & odometers are in KPH not MPH.
The headlamps might also need changing as the light pattern deflects ( low beam & brights) to the opposite side of the road than it does in the US.

Sorry there are many reasons to not buy the trash container on the wheels, but this isn't one of them. Maybe don't put your fingers where you aren't supposed to and it wont chop them off.
Ford's biggest problem with the Mustang Mach E is that they chose to run with the name of their 2 door wild stallion ICE muscle car on a 4 door Suv EV. It should have been named the Stallion Mach E. Or they could have brought back the Pinto name badge.
@:38 Is that the back or the front of the vehicle? They are symmetrical enough that I can never quite tell. The headlamps or brake lights are hidden by reflective material. Cars need single stage non-reflective enamels if they need to be visible in the landscape. Metallic finish on the wheels is a good idea. My vehicle was fitted with lamps, and they don't look like metal, they look like lamp lenses, even when they are not on. Hiding the lenses, and running around with dump (not smart) noise like a mandated beep on the reverse gear on a forklift...

The daughter of a friend is buying a new Mustang with the 4 cylinder ECO-BOOST engine. I tried everything in the world to talk her out of it. Tried to get her to buy a new Camry if she is insistent on buying a new car.

Lincoln unwittingly caused their own death after they discontinued their flagship Town Car. Panther body cars were practically built like tanks (with the fuel economy to match), but FoMoCo didn't put the money in to modernize the platform.
I actually want a cyber truck but they are expensive. I did some research and found that with $35k down payment your monthly payments will be $1000+ a month. The truck cost after it's all said and done is $120k.
I can afford a model 3 but if I am going to get an EV it needs to be a truck so I'm looking at the Ford lightning.

Lincoln has 4 models. You left out the Nautilus, which is a pretty sharp looking vehicle.
The only engine for a sports car like a Mustang is V8. Also, for a truck.
I honestly wish I could keep my Grand Prix GXP going, but her days are getting closer, I can literally feel it with every misfire that comes 💀. Still going strong, but it keeps clogging my 7th valve sadly, gonna try to go for a second car and then see if I can clean out my engine to fix it! Otherwise it's a solid vehicle tbh, I just wish they could keep making them like the vehicle I have. Sure it's a strange FWD V8, but I like it that way honestly. Happy with my little sport Sedan while she runs 💚

Lincoln is a ford with very expensive tinkertoy electronics which will break. Everything has a sensor and a motor.
This is true, like some mechanical car parts nowadays have driver assist sensors so finely tuned to the mechanical part in the factory that you need to replace something like an entire steering column if the permanently installed electronic sensor goes bad, just like how modern headlight assemblies get entirely replaced nowadays rather than just a cheaper bulb….
Electronics are for radios. Computers are for carrying around as laptops and cell phones. Computers are anything but eternal. A car can last for twenty years if well made, but Microsoft doesn't support ten-year-old software. (I put my old computer on Linux to keep it going, and it is doing fine).

@@IndyAvocadoKid My iPhone cost only $200, and I have never had a cell phone that works that well. Besides, I have more incentive to not lose it.
Cell phones are practically a part of most cell-phone contracts. I suspect that if one takes care of them they can last seemingly forever. (Ideally they would be on LINUX, but that is another story, Microsoft and Google are doing everything possible to ensure that you cannot migrate to Linux as a Windows iteration dies).

IN SF, CA. THE TESLA STATIONS HAD ALL THERE CHARGING CABLES WERE CUT OFF BY SOMEONE WHO WILL SELL THE COPPER FOR SCRAP / LOTS OF HARD COPPER IN THE CABLES $$$$$$ FREE ?????
I got slightly excited for Lincoln when they announced they were bringing the continental back. I liked it because I like full size cars and wanted to see a return of the American full size car. I drove a 2018 in 2020 and loved the interior. But because of its size the front wheel drivedid not like corners very well. I was so upset with that. The car is too big and heavy for the power they put to the front wheels. It HD good power but couldn't pull itself very well. Drove a 2018 Buick enclave avinir AWD that was he same price and was w more impressed. Bought the Buick and have 80k miles on it now without a single mechanical issue.
If you want a JDM car, live in New Zealand. Most of the cars that come into the country are JDM vehicles. That's one of the reasons why used cars in New Zealand are really cheap.
the 4 cylinder 2.3l vin M that was in my 93 Ford Mustang LX hatchback was a beast for a 4 cylinder. The stuff they build now is garbage.
He’s right about the vw. But if the manual goes out replace the compressor. Even if you think it’s good and ok and you hear it turning on and off. Still replace the ac compressor. They are complex but really the only thing that’s complex is the ac compressor. Trust me, just change it and do ask the work that goes with it and do a good job and it’ll be fine. Their ac compressors come flawed from the factory and only will last about 5 years. Ten if your lucky and you don’t really use it. Hope that helps you brother. Scotty isn’t gonna help you with a car that he thinks is trash. And that’s makes sense. But he doesn’t understand some ppl are desperate and they don’t have a choice.
