Lol, Radio Flyer red, or Rudolph the flying reindeer red? Looks like a item that costed over 100 grand that was advertised with a suggested retail price of 39 grand. I was in for 39, not 100..only the wealthy enough would overlook the massive price jump on that OEM product that the aftermarket product was being applied to. Wow, Telsa expects around 6 grand just to cover up the metal. It's like their 17 grand for a battery that costs way less to make. Glad they are pushing that lying liar that lies Musk away from having too much ownership in Tesla. He should start his own company and call it Musk rather than using someone else's last name that cared about human rights and marketing abuse concerns. Telsa vs Westinghouse example.
That film really gives a deep, candy paint look, which is really cool. The red is magnificent. Personally, if I had a Cybertruck, I'd probably choose a green color, like the Dodge Challenger color "Green With Envy." It's kind of the same depth of color as the red, with that same candy look.
Brian is one of the best coaches I have ever seen. His demeanor is so pleasant and he gives positive compliments. Makes me want to get my Cybertruck wrapped there. Great job Brian 😅
You did a great job. For,me, it is more of an efficiency decision: So the diff between DIY and professionals doing it is just 1200? No brainer: always the professional for me
Remember there’s only two cities in the country where Tsportline can do it for you, and I believe two or three cities where Tesla can do it for you, so for everyone else DIY is the only option unless you pay someone north of six grand.
To me the stainless steel is absolutely the worst look for the cyber truck, any other color looks better. Wrap is a must do in my opinion. I put PPF on my model 3 almost 5 years ago, I did the hood, fenders, headlights and mirrors. I destroyed the bumper section it was too much for me. One thing I learned you can't put too much soapy water down. I think the Cyber truck would be a cake walk. It would be a lot of work but really simple.
Tesla wrap: $6500 Pro shop wrap: $2500 and up. DIY Wrap: $1400 and up. Cordless polisher at Harbor Freight Tools: $110 + wax and/or cleaner + constant buffing of fingerprints. I love that gloss red color! For that or a nice dark green it's def worth the DIY price to me, in a few years, when I can finally buy one...
That red is incredible. Great color choice! The Cybertruck is a great way to learn because it's so planar! Which color is this from Inozetek? Is it Supergloss Vampire Red? Might be helpful to have this in the video info in case people decide they want to install it for themselves. Thanks! Update: Confirmed with TSportline. The wrap in this video is Supergloss Metallic Vampire Red by Inozetek. :) I'll be wrapping my Model 3 Performance with this soon enough.
Nobody wants to learn this. I learned as much as I needed to do the front of my Model 3 in PPF and once it was done I was soooooo done with doing it myself. 😂
@@mattbarnett6902 Hah, I get it. It's all about opportunity cost and how much your time is worth to learn something like this, and your patience dealing with large sticky sheets of pretty wrap. I don't even like wrapping presents! :D
Can you run it through a touchless car wash, or will it risk unpeeling in spots from the water pressure? That is the color I will probably get when my Cybertruck arrives, but I live in Omaha, so it will be the only one... lol!
Very inspiring, and well done! I have a CT in transit, and am leaning towards wrapping it more and more. I think I'd go for a satin clear PPF, but a matt olive drab would be cool as well.
I have to say, I didn’t really like the look of the cyber truck, but wrapping it is a game changer for me, I especially love that red. It’s fully sick!
I think it's funny that the whole idea was to emulate the easy-to-maintain stainless steel of the DeLorean, yet now… people are covering their Cybertrucks! 🤪
I think part of it is that less than 10k DeLorean’s were ever made, where Cybertruck hopes to be mass market. I think the allure comes from A, having different color options, and B having fingerprint resistance as there are no door handles.
I like steel red black combination. I once had a car with the silver metallic red black color combination, I liked that combination. If I were you, I would have almost left out some parts of the Cybertruck in order to still have the steel metal in the combination.
However, you can polish the stainless steel and it doesn't show fingerprints hardly at all and looks amazing! Remember, a door ding means your re-wrapping that panel if already wrapped as it will tear with a door ding impact even though the stainless steel won't dent.
Nice! Getting mine wrapped next week, but by a professional service ;-) here in TX. They are going to need 7 days, isn't too cheap, but should look great ;-)
That bright red color is incredible. I can barely hear what you're saying because the cybertruck is so loud!!! The cybertruck already gets attention, but that is ridiculous. Good luck with the speeding tickets.
Kim, can you please ask the guys from Tsportline the possibility of designing a center console with a flip-up 6th seat like the concept originally had? I feel like 90% of people that buy 3-row cars load 6 people and this cyberteuck would def replace my 7 seater model Y if they come up with a design like that. It would be incredible if someone does that kind of like all half ton trucks have that option on the front row for a bench. Thanks for your content, I watched almost all your videos before getting our model 3 and model y replacing all ICE cars in the house!
The color is Inozetek Super Gloss Metallic Vampire Red. I'm surprised this information isn't in the video or in the "More" info area. I now have this wrap on my 2023 Model 3 Performance, and this was one of the videos I checked out to see the color before pulling the trigger. Naturally, no information was given about the wrap but I called TSportline to verify.
While DYI (ing) is great you just spent 100,000.00 plus on a truck and now you want to save money ???😂🧐 I’m not sure about that logic. Great informative video as always thou👍🏽
The price varies WILDLY. Definitely check around, and vet your installer. Some are better than others, and make sure they're Inozetek certified if you want an Inozetek wrap. Some aren't or don't like the film and will steer you to other brands.

That Candy Apple Red Metallic looks amazing on the Truck

The Candy Apple Red against the black fenders and black side door panel looks great!

4:53 important to note that this is a color change vinyl wrap, not a protective PPF film like the one Tesla installs. Price difference reflects that.

That’s a nice red. I’ve done small parts of my model 3 on my own and man is that a pita to get right. Congratulations!

when did you get your cyber truck. Do you have a delivery video?
I can’t find an answer to this question even on the Costco shopping spree in the cybertruck. Is it hers or is it the shops?

beautiful red wrap and demo
Silent model axe killer, red, hidden badge, honey badger, you walk up close and you see the subtle CYBERTRUCK

There are some CTs that look really burned up and wasted - like Mad Max vehicles.
So, that's possible too.
Maybe people want to be unique ...
This actually looks really good in red!
That film is dope good job

Good job.
Is there a beast emblem for the tailgate on the film?
Was hoping y'all were gon wrap the aerocovers too. Might be a bit much, but might also be dopeAF. Easy enough to try and see 😊
This looks much more like the Ultra Red than the Signature Red. Both are beautiful and this wrap is stunning!

Are the 3w floor mats not available for Model X before 2021? :/
Metallic Midnight Purple PPF but it will be years before I get it. I'll check for the discount closer to when the Cybertruck comes.
Sounds like an Inozetek color which is a wrap, not a PPF.
The red, black and grey look definitely better than just the raw steel with fingerprints on! 😉

I would wrap one in wood grain, to emulate my Boy Scout Pinewood Derby cars from my past....
Ok with everything you get for $1300 that's pretty good.
What are kits for other vehicles?
do they sell diy kits for other cars?

I found with the PPF anyway, little bubbles and minor flaws disappeared over a few days of drying.

How long do wraps like this last?
7 - 10 yrs
5 years if the car isn't in the sun all day, every day. Less if it's baking in the sun a lot. Never leave a wrap on too long. :)
How about a powder coat? Super tough. Not as shiny though.
