By now the bones as well as the tendons have been severely compromised. Cutting the hooves does not correct the years of neglect. It will still be very painful for this poor animal.
Master Du is amazing! It's so hard for me to understand why the donkeys owner didn't take care of it sooner. I'm glad Master Du told the donkeys how to better care for the poor beast.
