Recently bought one of these to go with my new Switch OLED. The perfect grip controller in my opinion. Loved the NS32 so much that I had to give this a try. I was not disappointed.
Did you try holding the Home button on the controller when using the normal switch? It makes sense it would unpair and repair instantly since it's connected to the OLED. But if you connect the OG Switch the unit still gets power so holding home should unpair it and then instantly pair it to the OG model. At least in theory.
would you ever consider doing a comparison and showdown video of both gens of nexigo gripcons as well as the other gripcon style controllers you've reviewed? I'm in the market for one and just not sure the best value atm
I'm perplexed by their model offerings. They have the $65. model and the $50. Version. On their website, it shows the higher priced model (without the RGB lights and galaxy color pattern) as having hall effect analog sticks, but not the LED, galaxy pattern version. I have the $65. Version and it works great!

hi, i recently got mine and its been working for a while, but then it stops working wihtout it being plugged in, i think its my switch port, what should i do? without it being plugged in, it start flashing and blinking colors without button input. please help!
Just got mine and I quite like it so far. Did you ever hear back about the unit not connecting with your standard Switch? Mine does definitely only work via USB.
I still have an older version and a recent eggshell version I got earlier this year.. Funny enough my bro got me white and black dobe version and a carrying case that he didn't realize came with a controller. They are not gen 2 but still enjoy it. I did try to get this version of your reviewing earlier before but every time I tried to get these they wouldn't slide in unless I angled the port in the controller every time which got annoying. 3 times tried but i sent this back and stuck with the two i have. Now i got four controllers, so now i got plenty back up controllers for handheld mode
@@RoXolid You are for sure getting more questions/ interactions for trying, although long term likely significantly less subs or likes. I stopped the video after I saw that and came straight to the comment section. Wouldn't really trust anything I heard in a video where someone tries something like that and its not an obvious joke or to make a point.
Yep buying this on payday my nephew destroyed my joycons in any game your character does 100 360's a second the drift is so bad games are unplayable for me somehow he can still play comfortably and i do not know how and hopefully the gripcon will be as permanent solution or just put the old joycons back on when he plays with it and replace my screen protector because he cracked the one on it
I don’t know if you e heard of this one it’s the CXY CHYUHSIN. It’s a switch controller and I have it and it’s great. I got the gen 3 Nexigo but I prefer that one better. Don’t know why no ones talks about it.

Ok, I saw the email and I hate when companies do this. So yes, this hub outputs 4k... IF there's a 4k signal coming into it. It doesn't do any updating, these can also be used with tablets and phones which can output 4k via USB C

The NS32 has pretty much become my go-to controller in my living room.

These are identical to the "KS42 Joypad" (a.k.a. Nyxi Hyperion) but with a paddle.

I notice this thing doesn’t have a place cut out for the original switch to breath. I saw the back has no cut out. So I’m gonna skip this.

why would you try docking it when the grip itself is plugged into the USBC connector already
Some cases like this have USB C pass through do you can charge while it's in the grip so you're not constantly installing and removing it

Should have gotten yourself a satisfye zen pro ronin grip, then you’d be able to still dock it with it on.
I don't like the Satisfye ergonomics. My wife has one and loves it for the Switch Lite, I'm not a fan.
With the Satisfye you're still stuck with teeny tictac buttons and two measley small thumbsticks.
