Most people don't have a good understanding of how priorities, values, and risks change with scale. I enjoyed your war stories and perspective!

I have been using the Dell Optiplex Series for years as for my daily driver with Windows and Mint Linux for years. It works right off the box. No Issues at all!

I was working with a client a couple days ago, they have some very precise huge equipment controlled by a 12-year-old Dell OptiPlex in production. I asked them if they had a spare PC.... just in case, they said: Oh, they never thought about that the PC could fail because this one is running 24/7 over a decaded and never had any issues :)

you should set a camera above you so the view can show the computer inside and we can see all the parts inside better. this is what many youtubers use to make videos, A Neewer Camera Slider Motorized, 31.5-inch APP Control Carbon Fiber Track Dolly Rail with Time Lapse Video Shot Follow Focus Shot and 120 Degree Panoramic Shooting,Only Compatible with iPhone👍

People often miss the fact that this PC lasts for 6-7 years, that $1000 cost spreads out for 6-7 years for a reliable desktop is actually not bad at all for a business.

I have an Optiplex 3020 SFF. It lasted for over 9 years (since build date, not all under my watch) before I fked up and bent some pins in the CPU socket. Then I was lucky enough to find a replacement for $12 shipped, which dropped in and worked flawlessly. They're very reliable.

Thanks for watching it! That was done by Tom (super nice musician & TH-camr) for me, he is a great singer, guitar, and piano player. th-cam.com/video/Faz1x8E6m6Y/w-d-xo.htmlsi=kxCageED-1G_aVv_&t=288
