- hope this works for you guys just some simple tips I found out to fix a controller that wont connect. You may have experience just a flashing white light or just the yellow charging light . FYI second controller or USB keyboard must be present in order to fix

How can I go in and delete the old controllers showing under devices. My stepson controllers is doin this but I’m not getting the option to connect. There’s like 20 ps4 controllers popping up

What you have to do is go on your phone and download the “PS4 Remote Play app” and you can operate your PlayStation through your phone , from there go to your controller settings and disable all unwanted controllers, then hold the PlayStation Button and Share Button on your controller and it should pop up on your devices list, then click connect, then it started working for me

@@princesshierlaurin8299 you have to go to setting and then devices then enter to the ps4 controller, from the list of devices, by pressing X and then press the OPTION button and then forget.... once you do this with all of the controllers, connect via usb you ps4 controller and then press SHARE + PS button until the white light flashes fast and when the controller pop up in your console add it and you are all set my friend. Thanks to the guy that commented about this ps4 app. Im was a ps4 rookie.

Thank you so much. The only video that actually worked. My original controller stopped charging. Bought a used controller, but wouldn't connect. Following your instructions minus the keyboard, I kept using the little power my controller had, getting it on over and over again, until I got the new controller working. Thank you

I’ve done this about 10 times it works the controller starts to work but only for about 5 seconds then it’s disconnects again I’m too broke for a new controller
iTz Zain go to your setting with your keyboard and turn off the vibration on your controller then dim the light bar

mine doesent say the "do you want to register this bluetooth devise"
to fix that one thing that if you unplug the the charger the controller turns off to fix that you have to. 1. go to settings then go to "devices". 2. go down to "Controllers". 3. go to "Communication Method" then switch it to Bluetooth.

Another tip if your controller is cutting of mid game is to turn your speaker off .. it will stay on at that point

When I go on Bluetooth devices it says
“An error has occurred.
(CE-30993-4).”
Maybe trying looking up that error code

What did you press on your keyboard to get past the start screen
Try getting into safemode and rebuild your database, then have your controller plugged into the ps4 and try turning on the controller again.
Deadass went 3 months without a solution, but this worked for me

For anyone wondering. I had an extra controller instead of a keyboard. I already had about 10 dual shocks controllers listed on my Bluetooth devices list, so I forgot all of them and left the one controller I was using. After that, connect your controller with a charger, reset it with a pin for about 15 seconds. You can tell that it is resetting because if you see the yellow charging light on your controller, it will turn off while you are resetting, and turn back on when you’re done. Then, hold the share button first then the ps button to get the flickering lights. This should bring your controller on the list of Bluetooth devices. For some reason while my screen was on the ‘Bluetooth devices’ page, it made empty rows for more places where the “DUALSHOCK 4” would go. I’m not sure why, but It didn’t connect my controller when that happens. To fix this, just press on one of the empty rows, and they’ll all disappear but slowly re appear. Use this time to quickly connect your controller then with the steps above. If so, then you’ll see your controller pop up on the list like in the video. Hopefully this works for some people, and good luck

I could confirm that this 100% works. My old controller broke so long ago and then my friends begged to buy a new controller but I didn’t have money so they give me 2 . The first one I tired connecting it thru the micro usb and the lights where flashing white. In the very last minute they have another so I could checked if it worked and the same thing happened again. So I saw this video and when I tired it IT WORKED. I was so happy. If you don't have a second controller you can still use the ps4 second screen app to connect yhe controller through bluetooth.
