- Reactors reaction to Loki's glorious redemption arc and officially becoming the God of stories on episode 6 of Loki. The season 2 finale episode of Loki not only gave us Loki's final ascension to the throne but it also showcased a bit of Yggdrasil as well. Which is the central sacred tree of life, whose branches, in Norse mythology, serve the purpose of holding all the Nine Realms together. With Loki now at the helm as the god of stories rewriting the multiverse in an never ending tree of branching timelines.

That was probably the most beautiful ending to any MCU movie or series. I shed a few tears, knowing Loki sacraficed everything for love of hos friends, and humanity, and ended up alone. His worst fear.
It was unfortunate to see that not everyone caught on to the Yggdrasil reference, but the whole thing was visually stunning.

A good outcome for a character who was a villain, is now the new guardian and the most powerful being in the multiverse. Thanks to Tom for giving us his magnificent character and everything he did...it was great and beautiful. A GLORIOUS PURPOSE. 💚💚😭😭

The LOKI is the best Marvel project since ENDGAME. Is so remarkable and incredible.
He said he wanted a throne, but never really wanted it because it would tie him down. Now he has chosen to sit on one that ties him down in every way thinkable for all eternaty. His goodbye face before he entered the portal to the end of time really gutted me. And that lonely face at the end. He can hear his friends, but never meet them ever again. Alone for all eternaty. It really made me wanted me to hug him. A glorious but sad ending.
It does make me curious how they are going to integrate him in some of the upcoming movies.
Also curious about the behind the scenes of this scene. There is nothing but the floor with some steps, perhaps the music and that's it. That was some serious acting there.
And acting like that, will inspire the CGI crew to give it their extremely best to do their work. Combined it gave this piece of art. Glorious.

The best heroes are often ones that take on the most thankless of responsibilities. He became the God of Stories, yet in doing so has resigned himself to a role precious few will ever acknowledge him for. He has ascended to the top of the tallest mountain in the world where he can watch over everything the light touches, but no one has truly witnessed his climb. No one will ever truly speak of it, or learn of it. He will live on forever as a God not for the sake of his Pride, but for the sake of others. He has truly been burdened by the most glorious, and thankless, of purposes.
All Hail Loki, The God of Stories, and the Truest Hero of Them All.

Haha yea my wife has been getting bored of it. She watched the first 2 1/2 episodes of Loki season 2 and just wasn’t interested, but I was super into it. I intentionally spoiled the end of episode 4 and she told me not to tell her anything else because she wants to watch it now! 😂 Kinda how a lot of people felt about Wandavision.
Loki finally ascends to a throne-it’s just not the one he had once dreamt of. The God of Mischief is now the God of Stories. So awesome to see the new loom as Yggdrasil, the World’s Tree.
Loki enchanted the entire multiverse, strand by strand, of what he could grasp and now holds it all in is hands.
The mother of ALL redemption arcs.
In the scene when Thor and Loki are children in Thor 1, when Odin said "only one will ascend to the throne, but you were both born to be kings" he never lied. Plus he said THE throne as in the Asgardian throne, he never gave away that they will BOTH have A throne (No one else could have done a better job than Tom Hiddleston)
His family would be proud of him.
I really wish he could come home to asgard and give them a big hug.
Maybe he could create a projection of himself in all the timelines, to be either there or watching over his family. It's basically one of his magic after all, to conjure a mirror image of himself.@@dreamwalker2865
To me, this show and season was the best Tom Hiddleston has played Loki.
His glorious purpose has been achieved, but at the expense of him. God, I LOVE this show so much.

He basically became Atlez, the custodian of the multiverse. To monitor the realities on his throne forever so they don’t get destroyed until replaced, but by who and how. Cannot wait. Loki has become the main character of mcu to me.
It's a bit different. Atlas was punished to hold the Universe on his shoulders, for having rebelled against Olympus. Loki self-sacrificed for all of us.

The multiverse is infinite there might be another loki variant that can take his place but asgardians/frost giants do live for thousands of years so theres time
Feel like this scene is in direct contrast to the final scene in Thor on the rainbow bridge. In that scene Loki wanted a selfish throne, but here he chose a sacrificial throne. Powerful story telling and I hope Marvel continues with more of this.

I like how most of the reactions have people saying "this is f'ing sick" at various times. It was one of the sickest looking things the MCU has put to screen.
Red Skull found the Tesseract in a large house in Tønsberg, hidden within an enormous mural of you guessed it-the Tree of Life, also known as Yggdrasil. This is a cyclical link to Loki's final sacrifice, becoming the centre of the Tree of Life in order to save every timeline.

The god of stories, story arc from him walking to loom and then up to throne at the end was 1:1 with the panels in the comic book which is rare when they recreate something like that so faithfully loved it... i've always been a huge loki fan the moment he joined the mcu was one of the best days of my life!

You know this is pretty cool how he doesn't turn into his princely Loki vestments from Avengers or Thor 1 but a much more simple garments that's all green except for his horns which are more black with a little bit of gold in them showing this is a more humble and less lordly kind of Loki

Crazy how this Loki went from trying to destroy earth and get the asgard throne to holding the Multiverse together literally and becoming more of a god than Odin or Thor all which he learned how to fix the loom to him probably felt like what a month or 2
He had to time slip back to OB for centuries just to understand how everything works because he might be an alien with a high mental capacity, TVA tech is still outrageously more advanced.
It is even implied that he has studied more than just TVA tech, but control of time as a whole seeing he was also able to pause Silvie on demand like HWR. Which means it took him more than centuries to catch up to HWR.

Loki doing the walk on the bridge having the temporal energy come towards him reminds me of the scene from X-men The Last Stand where Wolverine confronts The Phoenix

So many twist and turns in this series episode by episode and the finale was something I would never have imagined happening. Great finale
Now you realise why his stepmom always loved him no matter what. Remember she always knew what's really hidden as she knew with fat thor being from future. So she always probably knew loki's glorious purpose.
Also the irony is crazy how tom wanted to play thor but got loki instead & he is now infinite times more powerful & important than thor. 😂👏

That was a godly glorious character arc.
A part of me broke for Loki when he did this. It was epic but he never got those years with Thor, he just found friends and worked so hard to stay with them and keep them safe only to give up his own happiness and chance at a happy ending since it was the only way to keep his friends and all the innocent lives on the timelines safe.
He sacrificed himself to keep everyone safe, whatever he knows them or not. He went from a war waging tyrant to a selfless god who did what he needed to keep everyone safe.
What happens now? He Who Remains warned that the Multiversal War would restart if the Loom got destroyed.
The Loom did get destroyed, so now, the Kangs are going to initiate an uprising upon the Multiverse, then.
But if Loki didn't do it, all of reality will end. B
Him doing this let's Kangs on the loose, but it gives people a chance to fight to exist rather than all be wiped out instantaneously

Yup, to all the reactions. Hopefully, film makers, who need to, learn the lesson from this; that in order for a product such as this to be perceived well is that the story first and foremost needs to be well written, before all the other magic is added.
I like the fact that its minor make up changes but you can see some signs of aging as he became older because the the time bombarding him

Man i didnt give this season the respect it deserves. It is fantastic indeed. Loki's redemption is amazing. Master of All Time with a throne at the end. What an ending dude, bravo!
In the comic books, the Time stone is orange (TVA and Miss Minutes color scheme). I think what Marvel is telling us here is that *Loki is the reason the Time stone is green in the MCU.*

In the end, He who remains is still right, many of him will be free and still Loki loses as he is alone which is something he never wanted but he does have his glorious purpose.
People can criticise season 1 however they want (except for the self romance), it all makes sense now that it's the development of God of Stories Loki and ngl it was well done
