Thank you, Dr. Hyman! I hope videos like this make it to the people who 1. need it the most and 2. are open-minded enough to implement your recommendations 🥰

Dr. please help, how does my mom eat ketogenic food (healthy fatty food) when she recently had a removal of her bile/gallbladder, my idea is, she no longer have the organ that digests fat. You are literally better than any comic superheroes, you are real deal thankGod, you are saving lives just watching your videos.

Really interesting. The study of birds may be worth pursuing. Apparently, when a young bird and old bird is autopsied it's very difficult to tell the difference except to say they think the reason the older bird doesn't show typical ageing and is difficult to distinguish from a younger bird is due to how birds metabolise oxygen.

Curious if anyone has experienced this: I had high fever/flu twice since 2013 with 102 fever. As is typical my diet during each time was broths, cooked veggies etc. In each instance after 5 days of fever & “fasting” my body felt amazing. Pain: GONE. Tired but mental clarity was through the roof. Anyone notice similar? Could daily hot therapy + fasting work extra magic when done together as nature does during times of infection? I might have to try to replicate this for a few days…

What about using Berberine versus Metformin? Doesnt it work the same way?

I’m not trying to activate Dopamine because it is addictive, the only reason to do this would be to minimize the pain from inflammation and that can be done through eating an more alkaline diet fresh fruits and lots of vegetables like celery cucumber kale lettuce radish tomatoes etc. once you do this the diet will turn off the inflammation that causes the immunodeficiency syndrome that causes diseases

I am in menopause, and have had hard core hot flashes for 6-7 years now. On Estrodial and Progesterone to combat these bc I was literally unable to function. My question is this, Does this kind of heat also help combat aging, bc it sure seems like it does not. Is a woman in menopause not falling under this hot cold resetting of proteins?

Great question! Dr. Mindy Pelz here on TH-cam has an amazing channel that focuses on women and menopause. Her approach is more on intermittent fasting and lowering carb intake. Please check her out if relevant. Best of luck!

@@JillCao I find intermittent fasting is awesome and really helps me. Drives my husband crazy bc he always wants me to eat first thing in the morning, and that really isn't in my best interest. Thanks for the reco.

No wonder they do hot then cold when undergoing physical therapy. But why it takes too long to heal a shoulder inflammation / injury ?

How are your blood levels. Iron . Red blood cells. White blood cells. Have you ever given to the Red Cross. They’ll tell you if your levels are good or not. Platelets, double reds. Etc

😂 Mom’s with young kids just can’t get that kind of time to take care of themselves. Looks like I’ll have to wait another 10 years before I take care of myself.

There has to be a better solution for vegans and vegetarians looking for longevity that doesn't involve high carb and high processed proteins....
It's terrible, there are all these intelligent Drs just minimizing veganism but not coming up with viable solutions so everyone can be healthy and have good muscle etc.
Is there not an amino acid complex that vegetarians could take ? (I guess it wouldn't work for vegans though !?)
