I’ve been in a relationship for 6 months now and we actually had a moment where I felt that she was kind of distant and emotionally disconnected from me and I hated it. We resolved it a couple of days ago and I remembered why we connected in the first place and I thought that if I gave her more attention she would feel more loved but it was actually that I had forgotten to not take myself so seriously in the sense that I had forgotten to tease her, and be flirty and to laugh at stupid jokes and all that stuff and the connection was right back just like that.

Great video here. I think we all agree with the key points of Women's hypergamous nature. Yea, you need to do and have all that. Better mentally, better physically, better financially, and better spiritually. Ok, we will accept that as a given. But one of the key points brought out here is that emotional connection. here's the best advice:
be yourself always. if that doesn't work for her, bye bye. don't pander to what she wants or what you think she wants. by all means do the whole goals and dreams thing, do the weights etc, but thats all extras, getting materialistic. a solid relationship is built on the person, not what they have or their status. it will never last that way. im going into that relationship because I am in love with THEM, and nothing else. and then she has to feel the same!
