I also live in LA so the crowded city with traffic is a norm for me.
I was supposed to study in London but I couldn't stand it. The commuting (2h for me) was horrible, so crowded all the time, so spread out, lack of nature around, hella expensive and hectic. Travelling was the worst, I have to admit, it almost made me feel sick. I got accepted pretty late so no halls for me anymore and I had to find something really cheap (also bc my parents aren't rich) and so the commuting was absolutely awful. Train delays, flooding problems so you have to transfer, rush hours etc. It's overwhelming. The weather was horrible too and I caught a nasty flu straight away when I arrived. People who enjoy big metropolitan cities might enjoy London but for me it was a nightmare so I left. I felt so lonely there, so disconnected, it was depressing. I should have gone to Sheffield but I made a big mistake of choosing London. The only thing I regret is the amazing major I could have studied in a great uni but I gave it up because the life there for me would have been just miserable.
Hey what did u do after
"If you want to get stabbed maybe, that's the place for you" -- lol hello SE london
wt????
@@leondaventus6981 literally. People over exaggerate this stereotype. It was like that a few years back but it’s definitely better now

“Live in south east if you want to get stabbed” She is as discriminating and making ill generalisations as the people who rejected her and her friends of colour to enter the club.

First of all, a big thank you for your informative videos.
I have an offer for the Big Data Science MSc for 2020 intake and I was thinking of working part-time jobs in London to make up for the living expenses like in other cities.
Do the part-time jobs pay more in London as compared to the other cities to make up for the higher living cost?
I am in your shoes too. I hope someone is able to help us.
If they're paying minimum wage, that depends on your age and is the same throughout the country.
you get paid more in london compared to anywhere else in the uk cause the living cost is higher. finding a part time job in london like retail, bars, restaurants is really easy cause there is just soooo much to choose from with the transport being amazing :) lots of unis give out an extra bursary to help manage but there is a certain criteria you need to meet
@@dear_flowersl3674 Thanks
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 smart
theres about 6 in leeds by the way aha x
How much does a student spend for all living expenses in London (eg accommodation, food and other personal expenses? )
new here :) thanks for the video
I live in leeds and I've always wanted to go to uni in London, but I know were just never gonna be able to afford it. Everything's so much cheaper up north
You should check if your eligible for any scholarships and bursaries
Any video on university of Brunel?

Woah what? Do u have any articles on this topic?
London is one of the most liberal cities in the world, its all in your head
They do that in nyc too, it just depends on the club. Pretty much happens in every city depending on the club nothing to do w london specifically
Luckily i live in north and west part of london Camden.

wth is the point of this comment? if she can't fix it in 5 min or less the dont comment about it. eyebrows are something that grows naturally and nobody is perfectly symmetrical
You are being as discriminatory as the people who rejected you and your friends of colour to enter the club when you say “live in south east if you want to be stabbed” and “people are dangerous”. Islington city road (north London), King’s road, Belgravia (west London) are also areas where your phone can be snatched from you, Shop lifting, and many other incidents. Stabbing also happens in Clapham near Chelsea harbour and in Fulham. I believe you probably realised that now as you have lived longer in London. Your experience and opinion is not a representative data for the demographic and economic state of any area you mention.
