Hi, I'm a new student. Could you explain how to register to be enrolled and start getting payments from student finance, please?
Hey! The uni will send you a link to be enrolled - I remember they did it beginning of the uni year in my first year - but if you’re worried you can always drop them an email! You usually have a month to enrol so don’t worry to much about it! Not too sure what you mean by student finance but that’s something to check with the finance team!

Hi! Could you please tell me something about a reputation of QMUL amongst finance firms? i am going to get a masters in Finance and investments in QMUL
Check out the rankings online - it always helps :) Just keep in mind also that firms don’t pay extreme attention to the school you went to, but more whether you avec the skills and experience required!

Campus is gated but you’re allowed to bring in people until 8pm :)

Hi I’m only an undergrad but I’ve done some work placements and I’d say people are overall impressed when I do speak about my degree and uni. I’d say your goal would be to make the best use of our career services after your masters - but QMUL being a Russell group uni, it’s always going to be in the top! :)

Hey Anastazja, I have heard that Qmul has a terrible reputation amongst russel groups hence fewer offers from reputable firms. Also, can you please share your personal insight regarding its law school if you have any? Thank you.
Hi check out my specific video on law school! I can confirm Queen Mary Uni of London has a great reputation amongst law firms and is known to be a good law school overall. Also more and more firms right now have decided to not even request what university name you come from for fairer purposes. I’d advise to do your research and judge for yourself :)

Hey Anastazja, I am supposed to join QM this September and I am really sceptical about the accommodations due to certain areas such as Mile End, Whitechapel, Hoxton, Stratford etc. It'll be of great help if you could suggest me a few (irrespective of the budget as I'm just trying to get an overview) on the basis of reviews you've gotten from your friends or classmates.

Hey so they have the specific QMUL one in Mile end, and as as private I’d definitely suggest to check out Scape! There’s one IQ front of the campus and one Scape inside and the facilities are great!! Additionally to that, some friends also have chosen to rent out rooms or flats around in the areas - but always go visit the environnement first before saying yes! Hope this helps :)
there's a place called scape which is directly across the uni. You can go check that out too!!

Good is quite subjective but if you mean education and reputation wise you can always check rankings!

Hi, “poorer area” as it’s in east London. We all know London as Oxford street and Regent street and I just wanted to pin point that perhaps the area looked poorer and less taken care of - as well as has less security than what you can see in the rich areas of London! Hope this clarifies :)
