  • In this video I compare the flight of a Grim Reaper Micro Hades Pro Broadhead to that of a Field Point from 40-80 yards.

    I love that swoosh sound of those arrows, couldn’t tell a difference between FP’s and BH’s with sound.

    Awesome! Thinking about using these as backups for my Elk hunt. Also curious. I hear guns in the background. Is this in Colorado?

    When I got mine. I had to move arrow rest to the left. They shot a little to the right

      I've actually never broadhead tuned in my life, lol. I always confirm that they are flying good, but have never had to adjust anything. All we do is paper tune in the shop for a bullet hole, and make sure basic things like bubble level, 3rd axis, etc are dialed.

      Thanks man! I do love that sound! My arrows are 425 grains and I am pulling 70 pounds.

    Thanks for the video. I am shooting a Scorpyd Deathstalker LT which says it is 415 FPS with 370 grain arrow. I have 300 grain arrows and I am thinking the 100 grain GR Micro for whitetail and 125 for Hog. Do you think that's the best choice ? Thank you.

    Nice shoot! Do you have an update on how these preformed for you? Thinking about trying GR heads but not sure which model for whitetail.

      They performed great for me in the field. Short blood trails and pass throughs!

    I don't know why people don't understand that it is aerodynamic LeeAnn possible to get a fix head to fly like a field tip any of the blade services that catch air is going to cause the Broadhead in the arrow to drift there's nothing you can do about that and I'm not saying that it's not a good Broadhead but they are never going to fly like a field tip

      My bow is tuned and I could shoot fixed but I never will I love machanicals to much. Fixed is stone age move up with the times. Small broadheads kill but big machanicals kill faster proven

      @@donwilson350 if proven why did i have a mechanical fail to deploy at 20 yards? killed the deer with just a dime size hole. maid it no further than 30 yards thankfully! fixed blades are time tested proven to always work. any time there a moving part there always a chance to fail!!!! as for your bleed out also wrong ive had deer die in the 20 to 40 yard range with same frequency as larger mechanical heads vs 1 1/16 fix blades. any good shot and wont go far. that is proven

      Current broadhead of choice is between the Grim reaper from the video or the Evolution Outdoors Jekyll.

      Honestly, I'm not much of an elk guy though, so take that for what it's worth. I know plenty of other folks though that use these heads on elk with success.
