Oh my ! I believe I have finally found the moves I need to get flexible and strong again. at 75 years and a few lower body injuries, I had pretty much stopped most activities. I love that you have quiet music and a quiet voice, I love that you don't' fill the whole time with talk. the side views are very helpful. I look forward to continuing and improving my posture, strength, breathing, balancing and bending. I would love to be strong and aware of the muscle pathways and strength that are required to get me able to stand from a floor position again. I will let you know how its' going ! I want to be able and safe. Thank you so much for not neglecting those of us who are not so young and frisky any more. I appreciate that you are genuinely concerned for your viewers and participants.
Good to know! I'm going to introduce my grandma to yoga and Pilates because she wants to get active again, but can't do anything high impact. Seeing other people around her age and ability levels do these workouts and benefit from them helps me gauge which ones will be good to do with her now and which ones I should save for when she gains some strength and mobility.

Hello, Lauren. I wanted to share with you how life changing this is. I was working out daily with you, and then I was put on two medications that caused me to gain over 110 pounds. With that and moving across the country I think I just lost hope, so I stopped working out. I am back to exercising, and eating healthy in our new home and off the medications. I just started but I have to tell you I love how this is making me feel. I do the 15 min no excuses work out and this one as well daily. You are so encouraging and I love the modifications so I can still gain benefit and still have something to shoot for. Thank you for the hope you give through these videos.

I found this video after searching Google for a free yoga chair workout for older people and every single one wanted between 25.00 and 35.00 a month. Some wanted more. So I decided to search TH-cam and this was the first one I clicked on. I can’t thank you enough for providing this service free. The workout is easy enough for an older person, but not so easy that I couldn’t feel the burn. You are an amazing person for doing these videos, especially with the way the economy is now. I just wanted you to know you’re appreciated. Also, I subscribed and turned on all notifications. I gonna refer you to my peers. They’ll love it.
At 75 years of age, I thought that I was beyond the capacity to do this. Not so. These exercises have made me a whole new woman. Having come back from two high impact falls in the last two years this is just what I needed to give me a new sense of confidence and well-being. What a gift!
I have gained so much weight the only thing I can do is walk. So, I was happy to find these chair yoga classes. I am doing them 4x a week and hope to get up to 2x a day, 6x a week. Hoping this propels me to better health and I feel great after each workout! I've been doing your chair yoga for the past two weeks, and lovin' it, and I noticed that I haven't had as much acid reflux attacks that I'd been having EVERY DAY, since 2018! Could this be true? Thank you Lauren I am week 4 I think and more flexible now I went out on my bike to day and was amazed how stony my leg muscle are getting I have under active thyroid it seems to make the muscle weaker but they are so much stronger I do your dance seated work out as well but I thought I would give you an up date also to say to others it really works .lots of ove from the U.K. ..x

This is the first time that I have done a seated yoga and stretch session. Lauren is great with explaining the moves and easy to follow. It is great to do as a 62 year old women that needs to stretch after playing a game of pickleball.
I have been sick for the past three years, in and out of the hospital and physical therapy. My son suggested chair yoga videos for a way to gain my strength back and for the positive effects of yoga on autoimmune disorders. I’ve recently been very poorly with a 9 day spell in hospital. I’m not strong enough to do the routines of yours that I usually do but then found the chair exercises. this is the FIRST EVER YOGA OF ANY KIND that i have ever done, i am 73 and my whole body has siezed up due to back issues, i never thought i could do or enjoy yoga as i am very overweight.....WRONG, i really enjoyed this, and shall visit you every day, thank you sooooo much this was really great. I've been teaching deep stretching at Senior Centers, one of which just asked me to lead a chair yoga class. I'll borrow heavily from your examples. Thank you so much for this workout Lauren it took the guesswork out of what workout to do when I saw it was recommended on my feed. I liked it better than the other yoga video I did with you. I can't wait until I get my brace and hopefully my podiatrist will let me stand up. I am also quitting my job as of Friday hopefully something sitting on not standing on hard restaurant floors will come it. This is much too much on my 65 year old flat feet.

I love the classes! Lauren does a variety of different moves so keeps the classes interesting. My body always feels better after each session. And Lauren offers excellent instructions and encouragement. A big thank you!

I love these senior videos. Thank you so much! I came looking for some chair activity to keep fit after a hip injury. In a couple of the videos, Lauren says, "We'll get you there, we'll get you stronger" and I'm noticing that's the truth! Thank you so, so much.

Hi there Lauren, I've been trying various chair yoga routines recently and worked out with you for the first time this morning. I thoroughly enjoyed this session with weights. Thank you for incorporating the weights (I used two 2-pound hand weights) to help me stretch and strengthen and build bone mass. this is the FIRST EVER YOGA OF ANY KIND that i have ever done, i am 73 and my whole body has siezed up due to back issues, i never thought i could do or enjoy yoga as i am very overweight.....WRONG, i really enjoyed this, and shall visit you every day, thank you sooooo much this was really great. Thank you so much. I love doing the chair yoga. I have a pacemaker since September 6th. I started doing the chair yoga every day since October 1st. I feel stronger, motivated and more flexible. I have a rounded back due to scoliosis. But I am encouraged that I am going to correct my posture. I am alternating your two chair yoga videos. I would love if you would make more available. Thank you Lauren. I'm a young senior who found yoga in retirement and got certified as a teacher a year ago. I've been teaching deep stretching at Senior Centers, one of which just asked me to lead a chair yoga class. I'll borrow heavily from your examples. A thousand thumbs up to Senior Shape with Lauren. We as a group have been doing chair yoga twice a week for months and it has done wonders for me. I had a stroke a while back and could not move my arm. By stretching with Lauren I have gotten amazing results. Thank you.

Thank you so much for this workout Lauren it took the guesswork out of what workout to do when I saw it was recommended on my feed. I liked it better than the other yoga video I did with you. I can't wait until I get my brace and hopefully my podiatrist will let me stand up. I am also quitting my job as of Friday hopefully something sitting on not standing on hard restaurant floors will come it. This is much too much on my 65 year old flat feet.

Hi Lauren here I am 2 weeks into a number of your seated workouts and I have to say I feel so much more balanced and my coordination is so much better I love all of them and do a different one each day just to keep up momentum so thank you once again my leg muscles are getting so much more flexible.god bless.xxx

This is my first time with you. I very much enjoyed the chair yoga practice as I have sore knees and this was perfect It was basically everything I've done in the past on the floor. appreciate the way you incorporated the weights into the practice also. For me it was a one stop exercise video sitting on a chair. Thank you.
