This kind of treatment that Frontiers is getting makes me wonder how this could’ve affected games like Sonic 2006 or Rise of Lyric had they had the opportunity to get that treatment. While I’m a huge advocate of “finish the game before releasing it, don’t drip-feed additions and fixes to prolong the game’s life”, I would be lying if I didn’t agree that this is making Frontiers a better game. It’ll still be important to remember how it was released initially, but we can at least rest easy knowing that the Sonic series got the chance to make its triumphant comeback
If only sega would have let sonic team delay frontiers for this year... the game would have been getting better scores and postive critics. I hope sega will learn for next time. And the fact that sonic team decided to fix everything even a year later is so nice, we are going ti have the best sonic game ever.

This year is one of the best years in my opinion we got playable characters in sonic games and new ending in one piece anime after waiting 17 years for both of them

Cyberspace is fun, it's really fun to speedrun, yeah sonic is a little slow but because we saw what happens when he's superfast, turning is always junky in levels on porpuse

I really hope the other characters get to know the titans pilots bc there's a heavy plot hole where we never see in a clear way that sonic is being misleaded by The end to kill them all, and by the rest of the game sonic don't give a shit for them nor mention the fact they existed. So maybe there's gonna be a rework for the whole story and not just the final section.
Im still not decided on this, but when the upd drops, im planning to just, don't go to any social media and just play the whole game from the beguinning (no new game+), I wan't to re-experience the game, but if it has a new story, i will have something to look forward to while im playing, keeping my interest in the playthrough. From just what we know, we will have playable characters (in open zone probably, since the skill tree for some of them were leaked), the new story, now a new superform, probably (im really hoping for) open zone super sonic, and maybe more things, because the updates always add somethings other than promoted. im more hyped for this, since I don't have to pay 60 euros for a 2.5d classic sonic game, i still want to play it, but ill buy at 30 euros max.

It will, sonic team don't have a deadline to release updates, they can delay it if they want because sega care about releases of games, not dlc. But do expect some bugs here and there because it is a big update after all
I hope the hyper forms will be in this game and new characters like shadow, silver, blaze, marine, cream, honey the cat, mighty, ray, bean the dynamite, bark the polar bear, team chaotix, and metal knuckles

@@yesuhh6855as i said, if you won't parry the bosses you won't progress in the game, if you want to attack wyvren or knight you have to parry. The parry was suposed to be on timing, but playtesters complained, and i agree with them, the parry should stay as it is. If you want to perfect time parry just don't hold the parry buttons. The timing of the parry is confusing because enemies charging their attack way too long
Sonic frontiers is going to be the closest sonic game to be "perfect", look it's the only sonic game that i enjoyed 99% of it, every 2d game has THIS one zone, 3d game has THAT character, THAT gimmick, the only times you will suffer in frontiers is in the damn pinball and the puzzle in kronos. For me all that's what video games about is joy. Story and such later, but sonic frontiers also can bring joy and the other things (like story, and such), the closest sonic game that was close to be "perfect" was sonic generations, which had lack of the story, world building and all. We are in a good direction, sonic superstars probraly will be the "perfect" sonic game after all, but 2d games are really hard to mess up, sonic team knows now how to make a good 3d games and with kishomoto, the future is promising

They won't fix the perry because it's necessary for progression, you must parry some attacks from the titans
