It really helps viewers understand what a great makeshift family they had, which is why their deaths are so traumatizing to Shadow. The story also leaves him with Maria’s real sentiments, that Shadow help others find the light, give people a chance to find happiness, and to help his friends. Really cool that they took the teenage angst character and gave him a dynamic story and character arc without changing him by the end - that’s really hard to do with static characters who aren’t allowed to age or change significantly.

Being able to rush through (no pun intended) Rail Canyon and Kingdom Valley after so long were not only so much fun to play, but also brought back so many fond memories. Aside from Speed Highway & Rooftop Run, those were my favorite levels to get the fastest time(s) ever back in the day
I like the updated cutscenes. It makes the game feel less like a Marvel quip fest and more like an actual game. Don't get me wrong i did love some jokes but the game seems to take itself more seriously rather than just stupid jokes are one liners. But thats just my opinion and the fact people are lashings out at Ian Flynn isn't surprising. That's just the Sonic fandom for you. They did it in Frontiers and they'll do it here.

Being able to rush through (no pun intended) Rail Canyon and Kingdom Valley after so long were not only so much fun to play, but also brought back so many fond memories. Aside from Speed Highway & Rooftop Run, those were my favorite levels to get the fastest time(s) ever back in the day
I like the updated cutscenes. It makes the game feel less like a Marvel quip fest and more like an actual game. Don't get me wrong i did love some jokes but the game seems to take itself more seriously rather than just stupid jokes are one liners. But thats just my opinion and the fact people are lashings out at Ian Flynn isn't surprising. That's just the Sonic fandom for you. They did it in Frontiers and they'll do it here.

I legit cried at the end of Shadow's story omg. I wish Gerald and Maria hadn't been killed it's so sad but it's a canon event for Shadow he can't undo what was done but I'm so proud of him for defeating Black Doom and freeing himself of those dark strongholds.
