Thank you so much for this video. It's brilliant. I watched it twice and turned it into a checklist for an EXC I saw and bought yesterday. Your video gave me confidence that I've bought a great bike. Thanks guys.

This video is way over the top. It's quite easy to see a beat bike vs a well taken care of bike. This video is what you should check after buying it to make sure it's ready for the first ride. I own a 08 530 EXC-R with 13,000 miles on it and it still sounds like a wristwatch. Take care of them and they will take care of you.
@@Stoph345Thankfully, the 250exc-f I was looking at buying, was sold to someone else and about 2 days later the bike was reposted for sale saying that the bikes needs a new top end.

Hi guys, thanks so much for all this info! I’m looking to check out a Ktm 250 exc f. This was a perfect video to watch before I go and see it. 👌👌👌

Why do the bike sounds so high the settings.. is that normal for 250 exc-f?
My 530 has only 2 wheel bearings in rear wheel
hello…what do you mean exactly when you say a “you wanna have a top end or a rebuild” i know what’s a rebuild what do you by top end?
Top end of engine rebuild… new piston, rings, inspect cylinder surface, check valves are seating correctly, replace stem seals re shim the valves replace all gaskets and seals etc
So long story short, check everything... Got it.
