Great information that early adopters of the 450 Ibex appreciate. Kudos to CF Moto for doing their best to provide us with the lightweight off road oriented ADV bike with enough power to comfortably cruise on the highway. We've begged for this for decades and the big motorcycle cartel told us to buy their heavy and expensive 800-1300 cc ADV bikes, while they deliberately crippled their small ADV bikes.

Thank you. That was probably the most honest review that I have read. Thank you also for mentioning the gearing… Owner’s pages for the two bikes that I ride are always full of miracle cures, the main one being how changing the front sprocket by one tooth will revolutionise the bike on a fast A road or motorway. As, in my opinion, neither bike was built for that use I presume that they made a big mistake when choosing their new bike and the ‘advice’ they are giving will spoil the performance in the environments where those motorcycles belong, minor roads, hills, gravel tracks and occasionally challenging technical sections as well. I have already noticed that ‘alter the gearing’ has been a hot topic for MT450 owners as well. Good luck with the bike in the future, one of my motorcycles is Chinese, a Voge 300 Rally and it continues to impress me day after day.

Watching from the USA. Great video. Informative, concise, and no BS. Your methodology for constructing/ organizing your video content is enjoyable for the viewer. I know you said that this will likely be your last video on this machine; however, it would be interesting to see one that highlights a more dirt oriented/ enduro style (possibly some single track) riding. What I am especially curious about is the 'higher' fender performance and higher fender installation. It would be interesting to see a portion of the video where you (Luke) install the higher fender kit/ package. This way viewers could see what was involved and if it is something they may tackle on their own. Thank you for posting this video. I just subscribed and look forward to future content.

Nice one, as an mt450 owner, I appreciate this video especially. My one comment here, and my biggest disappointment in the bike is the short gearing. 5th and 6th gears should have been much taller. @slakk5093 Correct, Luke said he liked the gearing on trails, and he is correct. It's the higher gear ratios that are too short. Jumping back and forth between the bikes "live", the 14t is more "huligan and fun" at lower speeds. It's simple, the higher gear ratios are too short. I don't get why some people can't get that?????? Great video for a few different reasons. To mention - content is shown is a professional and interesting manner, you are honest and not spoiled like some TH-camrs who would be claiming that if it is not a GS, Africatwin or Tenere, it is rubbish etc. I haven't ridden this bike yet, but I did ride the new Himalayan. This segment of the market may become THE segment in the next 3,4 years with more bikes like these. People will realise you do not need to spend £15,000 or more (I am from UK) for adventure bike, otherwise it is not a real bike. Unless your adventure ends on Sunday by your near by popular coffee shop and bike needs to compete on the parking with others who's bike is more expensive :) I am downsizing from Tiger 900 Rally Pro to either 450MT or Himalayan. They are fast enough, much better off road and capable for much more exiting adventures in my humble opinion. Even if you are pro and semi pro rider with good off road skills, managing 230+kg is more difficult than 195kg.
@@pko1099 I loved my Tiger for over 2 years until I found it vulnerable to elements. 1:13 you're so spot on by addressing the most common stereotypical issue especially in my country where most of them even neglect the great products manufactured by the Chinese enterprises when they haven't even tested them even a bit! As per my view, every good thing has to be appreciated and accepted with an open heart if they aren't creating any issue to the users! Great review! 🙌❤️
Hahahaha! 'If you sneeze while riding. . ." I unconsciously hold my breath anytime I am going through potholes on my 200cc single cylinder Chinese ROYAL motorcycle. I have had it for almost 3 years and it is performed so well. I would gladly upgrade to the 450MT if it was sold here in Ghana and I could afford it.
I love your succinct and articulate style of presentation - as well as the professionalism of your insights. From an elderly old-school thumperite (DR 650) who rides the arid backcountry of Southern Africa.
I've watched this video three times now, for the content and for the entertainment value! However, I think this test of the bike proves beyond doubt that China in general and CF Moto in particular are serious players in the motorcycle industry. No longer is it fair to say Chinese bikes are rubbish, perform poorly, lack quality and longevity. I think this is great for the industry and the motorcycle buying public. Bring it on!!
It’s good to see CF Moto holding up under abuse that was a proper review 👍. They’re coming out swinging with their new side by sides too the z10 looks really good
Excellent review! A minor thing to note is that by changing from a 140/70/18 to 150/70/18 rear tire you have effectively altered gearing. This is approximately equivalent to going from a 47T rear sprocket to 46T rear sprocket.
Thank you for making the video available in English as well! I was quite happy to watch the original video in German with auto translate but now it’s better understood. Looks like you had lovely trip except the high temperatures 😢

How refreshing. What appears to be an honest review by someone who knows what they're talking about.
Great review covering all important, relative issues..thanks Luke
Thanks, Jason!
Review that I want to watch. Good job! Ride safe
Great review! Subscribed can’t wait for the future videos
I love your succinct and articulate style of presentation - as well as the professionalism of your insights.
From an elderly old-school thumperite (DR 650) who rides the arid backcountry of Southern Africa.
Man looks like a lovely place you took that bike. Looking forward to your documentary.
They’re coming out swinging with their new side by sides too the z10 looks really good
Thanks for the review. I hope to get one for myself
The KTM chair is a nice touch 😊 nice video, thanks
Благодарю за этого обзор этого прекрасного мотоцикла.
Great video. Very informative and will give many people peace of mind regarding purchasing this bike.
One of the best channels..keep it up
Excellent review!
Good job buddy, can’t wait to see the next video trip, have fun 🤘🤘
Very very informative 😊 I was thinking of buying 800 MT . THANK YOU 🙏
Good to see cheaper bikes coming back to adventure motorcycling, for far too long the new bikes have been heavier and heavier expensive asphalt princesses.
Mighty impressive bike, it seems anyone who has any real experience with it really sings it's praises!
Perfect video for me as I have a stock 450 and just deciding what accessories I need before first TET trip. Looks like I don't need to spend much!
Subbed.
To me this feels like a more affordable, more accessible and smaller Teneree 700, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
Endlich mal ein trocken ehrliches Video! ❤ Vielen Dank Luke ❤
That's a nice and detailed video man. Very good luck to you.
Waiting for your videos on Himmi 450.
Love from India ❤
Nice review!! Honest ,, to the point. Just the right amount information for a new bike
Excelente Sr Luke! Gran prueba técnica y exigencia a este modelo que a todos nos ha llamado poderosamente la atención desde su estreno. Saludos desde Colombia!
Congrats for the video! Definitely the most informative video for the great cf moto 450 mt! Subscribed!!!
Without being too negative, I look forward to you trying to destroy another bike and making a story about it! That being said, excellent video mate! 🤙🏽
10k on mine as well! Runs like a dream, the airbox was spotless after taking it through the Australian dessert.
Para cuando los siguientes capítulos de tu viaje, estoy con la intriga, saludos y a seguir disfrutando de la CF MOTO.
My friend you're doing a great job 👌
first time viewer. thanks so much for putting the English weights and temps on the screen. we will never adapt to that, but it would be nice. i really think i need one of these. great review.
Great video, thought I was watching a much bigger channel 👍
Jesus this deserves more views and subs ❤
Muy bueno. 10 mil es más que suficiente para tener en cuenta tu opinión.
I change my Hayabusa oil at 5000km anyway. 10,000km seems crazy to me for a bike engine. But that's just me, each to their own.
