    I've never yet had a stuck injector (1.9 16v JTDM) but that is a very clever and neat solution. Applause from London!

      Hello. They are quite rare to happen. Unlike other diesel engines .

    I just did my Hyundai i40, injectors 1 and 2 was wet and oily on the rocker cover, I order 4 copper washer 4 o-ring 4 new bolts, 4 rocker cover injector seals and rocker cover rubber gasket 5 seal for the bolts that hold the rocker cover. 123 came out no problems, 1 and 2 oily 3 was dry. 4 was stuck. I borrowed a the slide hammer tool (not as big as the one you used) it was like a fork the slid under the injector it took 20 second to remove, it's nice to the right tool for the job. 4 was absolutely rusted.
    I cleaned them and put the in the ultrasonic cleaner for 30 minutes.
    I put everything back together a nd went for a drive, as soon as I got to 2500rpm the car would not rev anymore and eventually stalled. Started the car again, same problem max 2500rpm, lucky I didn't get far. DTC no fuel pressure, I started thinking high pressure fuel pump, fuel filter, Suction Control Valve, fuel pump in tank. Replaced fuel filter, tested SCV, MASS, MAP, removed what I thought was in tank fuel pump only to find out there is no low pressure fuel pump, looked under the car for the pump nope nothing, car only has one high pressure diesel pump. Surely it can be the high pressure pump. Removed all injectors again and had them test, 4 was loose, I must of loosened it when I was trying to remove it without the tool, the guy tightened for me, by the time I got home it had cracked so I order a new one. Installed injectors, same problem max, 2500rpm. I did find the problem and it was an easy fix and wanted to kick myself because it was so easy.
    Can you have guess what the fault was?

      Wow! That's s good one! Let me think... So the symptoms where low fuel pressure and cannot rev past 2500 rpm..

      @@alfaromeonoproblem no, the factory OEM correct part number copper washers are not wide enough. The only new part I didn't compare to the old ones, I took the old copper washers back to the parts distribution warehouse to get the correct size and they are all the same, too small compared to what was originally on the car, I ended up purchasing Bosch copper washers and it fixed the problem.
      Also replaced the engine mounts and the car is as smooth as the day I bought it.
      Cheers

    Great video, thanks. I’m just about to replace all my seals as a matter of precaution before they leak . I’m at 70000 miles on my multijet. In your experience, what mileage do the original seals tend leak? Great advice on the genuine washer situation, I’ll take your advice.

      Hello. In my experience, if not messed with ever, they will not go bad. If they are good, don't mess with them. If you do, use only original seal washers

      @@alfaromeonoproblem Thanks and that’s interesting. I’ve had a previous Ford / Peugeot engine where all the injectors stared to leak at about 100,000 and it does appear to be common on some diesels. I’ll take your advice

    Hi Bruno thanks for sharing I've been reading the comments below and the guys mention that they never had a stucked injector
    Normally you'd have a stucked injector in case where the copper washers at the bottom of the injector is not sealing well and the diesel makes its way to the top and with the heat it gets so hard if uts left unattended, that's when this method of a beat knocker comes handy this is applicable to al diesel injectors
    I love watching your videos they are very practical keep making
    I'd like to know if you have any experience o the tct transmission do you have any videos on them I. Having a problem on my 1.4 giulietta it's not taking gears any help will be appreciated thanks

      Hello, thanks for watching. I do not have experience on TCT, they did not sell very much here. I did a clutch job on one Giulietta, very easy and no special tools or procedures

    Never had a stuck injector in 1.9 jtd 8v. They get stuck a bit, but that's nothing you couldn't manage with bare hands. I can break all of them loose and pop out in about 30 minutes, without prior spraying with wd40

    Hey, did you ever have a issue with a screaming braking pedal? I found only one person with same problem. He says that was a servo to replace. "Scream" or maybe whizzling stops when you hit brake pedal few times, but it starts as fast when you start moving. When gas pedal was pressed sound dissapeards, buy only when you stop pressing it whizzling shows up again.

      @DashCamSerbia 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You have a vacuum leak. Check the hoses from the brake servo booster to the engine/vacuum pump.

    • @alfaromeonoproblem
      @alfaromeonoproblem  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Without hearing the sound of very difficult to know. But it may be the servo, yes.

    hi, amazing video, do you know why some 1.9 16v has the rail pressure with only 1 sensor ( right) and 4 hole in front and 1 in back and other rail has 2 sensor ( left and right) , 5 hole in the fornt and 0 in the back? ( i know that the 1 hole is for the return line for diseel)

    • @alfaromeonoproblem
      @alfaromeonoproblem  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello the second one is not a sensor. It's an actuator, realising excessive flow to the fuel tank
