Jaguar X-type's ride and handling is so charming. Basic Alpine audio is just appropriate for listenig music. I love my 20 yr.-old 2003 X-type, my everyday driving partner. At last Motorweek's video of X-type sedan has uploaded on TH-cam after 22 years from its debut! Thank you so much 💓!
Wow, a 3.0 manual. I wonder how many hundreds of those were sold. $6k sounds like a pretty big upcharge for a Taurus V6. But 0-60 in 7 sec is decent for an AWD small luxury car from 02. These have definitely visually aged better than the bloated S Type. I know it was considered a hack job then and they have pretty much all been disposed of since, but the body looks nice and taught and it incorporates Jag styling in a modern interpretation better than anything else from the Ford era.
They are very rare, I had a 2005 X type 3.0 sport five speed manual, fantastic car. The manual wasn’t incredibly precise, however. But it was extremely reliable gorgeous and I got compliments every day. I also had a 2008 XJ8 at the same time and the X got way more attention surprisingly
The 3.0l Duratec was really one of Ford's most reliable fuel injected gasoline engines. I'd trust one of these over any of the newer Tata era Jags sold nowadays.
@@jamessmallwood8488 ha. I haven’t been a teenager in decades. If you drove them like grandma, they tend to last. Unfortunately many don’t do the preventative maintenance and dealerships don’t help much. ESP now a days. Oh no you don’t need to change that. Until it breaks.
Did you own one? perhaps they were not very competitive brand new but on the Used market they were a really cool alternative. I picked one up a 2005 and 2011 for 5K with 80,000 miles. Fully loaded sport and never had any issues except for a broken tank was $30 to replace. At 140 K I sold it running perfect

@@MugatuJagI thought manuals were only the 3.0…?
@@2steaksandwiches665 in the US I’m pretty sure you could get the manual in the 2.5 and the 3.0
