There was so much fun to drive but like all German cars if you cannot afford to maintain them then you will not be happy. I never got 17 MPG even idling down a hill. 😆 More like 13 average
My sister and brother-in-law had a Mercury Villager. It was very fancy. I remember it having all leather seating and a theater surround sound system.
The post-90s Hyundais were like the new chapter for the Korean car brand in North America and Europe, because they had to revamp their strategy from selling poorly built cars for profit to sell something with better built quality and more spare parts availability. Still, there were cases of Hyundai owners getting lemon cars (mind you this was before GDI engine scandals appeared from 2013 onwards, which meant that the faulty Hyundai engines during 2000-2012 were using multi-point injection system). But nonetheless, the majority of Hyundai owners in late 90s until 2012 were fairly satisfied with their vehicles.
typical VAG bought propaganda 🙄
Ive always loved this generation of Stangs. 260hp and 5.5 seconds to 60mph is enough for me regardless.
3 years ago, i fell completely in love with this car, its not a simple piece of metal, its more, it has soul and face, it has emotions, currently im 16, and i still dont want any other than this and the "R" version. Completely loving it, it keeps bringing me smile everytime i see it on the road, hoping its gonna be my first car, gonna take good care of it, gonna love it. Id say im in a long term realitionship with this car😅
I love the sweater that the driver is wearing, I've always loved the colorful sweaters of the 1980's/early 90's.
Someday, I WILL have an XJ..............Someday, I WILL have an XJ..............Someday, I WILL have an XJ.................Someday, I WILL have an XJ...............Someday, I WILL have an XJ!!!!!!!
they're fun vehicles to drive. classic. you generally cant go wrong with it.
MotorWeek's braking test was much shorter
And it also batter than smart fortwo
Minicooper are for nerd boy
I mean Minicooper face look like nerd boy but is exactly cool 🤩
Did they make it to 100k?!😅
3:30 IF YA SMELELELELELELEL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKIN
It’s not wrapped around an LS400 drivetrain it’s an exclusive platform that was later used for the Mark 4 Supra also the first car sculpted from clay which explains the organic lines of the body
My favorite part of this job would be riding in Jim’s box Chevy.
Shame this car wasn't equipped with the 5 speed manual.
I am from Iraq. I have a 90 Nissan Access Prairie, but its engine is worn out. Can I find a new engine, please? Where can I find the original please ?

I have a black turbo s… 2003 great fun fast car btw they make 211 hp stock and ask for way more boost for some reason.. wonder why vw under reported the hp.
I owned the wagon. This generation had very good feel. It was a quality vehicle. I'm not the sort of person who likes old tech out of nostalgia.
These are sweet shame they are essentially lost media in car form
Where do you put the key in
3:35 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight LLS...... John you made a boo boo ooooooo..... im taking away your Analog oil guages for the year of 1995.
By far the best car of the 90s
This Buicks where more dependable and reliable than any Lexus, Acuras and Infinitis of that era. USA #1 🇺🇸.
Not just built for “older customers “.
I'm surprised that the Honda Accord didn't make the honorable mention for the Family Sedan category.
Id Take That Over A Ford Exploder Anyday..bought mine used and the 4wd turned out not working and the steering wheel even fell off the column on to my lap..and id still take this Vehicle over the Ford exploder😄🤷 The Exploders where broke down on every block growing up... 😄🤷
5:31 WTF IS THAT?
370 hp Not 363 or 365
What a joke of a car I can’t believe people bought this . I haven’t seen one in ages obviously they lasted long hahahhha
This car was and will always be a Legend.
my favourite car.
Căruța cu 2 cai prima mea achiziție caii a murit dar caruta mai funcționează
Now this is motorweek!!!
I had a 1997 Mazda 626 GE 1.9 90bhp stick Hatchback myself. Great car! Very light though it was huge on the outside and also had great fuel economy. It was the engine sound i loved the most. ❤️
I'm surprised at a few cars that didn't even make the cut for their respective categories: Family Sedan - Honda Accord Economy Car - Ford Escort/Mercury LTS and the Saturn SL Truck/Utility Vehicle - Ford Explorer and Ford Wagon van It's also amusing that the redesigned Ford Crown Vic was selected as worst car when it would go on to be one of the most favored sedans of the decade and is remembered pretty fondly
It's like a Vectra, but much, MUCH nicer than a Vectra.
As an assistant to a manager at one store the manager wanted me to take her car to the bank one morning. She just wanted to see what I thought of it. Hers was the 2.0 liter with 5 spd manual transmission. The transmission was perfect! The car didn't have a lot of power but it handled very nicely. The seat was supportive and comfortable. I liked it. Later i drove one with the 2.8 VR6.
And Mercedes c klasse is filming
Only an M117 away from greatness
I dealt with too many of these in the repair world. These cars were under-built and toooooooo many things leaked and failed. The owners of these were generally broke and awful too.
Legendary Saab. I had a few of these. Really wish I still had one.
I own an 88 Ford wagon and it's beautiful even with the faded paint and I love the way it drives. It isn't a sports car, it's more like the Millennium Falcon - if you know how to handle it, you can maneuver it with grace. It only has 80K miles and I'm debating selling it and getting a Sequoia, but I know I'll miss it and I'm thinking of giving it a lift and some mild offroad tires to make it more suited to my boondocking and camping lifestyle. These cars are super reliable - I had a previous wagon with 250K miles and running strong. I saw it again for sale years after I sold it and they had taken it through the Gambler 500 and apparently performed well. They had given it a very cheap lift and I test drove it, thinking about buying it again and it still drove great. The wagon bug bit me again a few years ago and I bought my current one and I am not sure I can part with it. They're getting very rare...
I don’t know if 1150cc-s are enough to be able to haul this dude’s fat keister around. I suspect not, better get a Goldwing
I would love to find one gut the living hell out of it, lower it, swap out the rims from a 3rd gen yukon denali, maybe some nitto drag radials, top it off with a nice twin screw supercharger, a front mount intercooler (450-500hp setup) and make it into a nasty medium sized awd track truck
My moms ex husbands dad had a 2002 sierra denali with the quadrasteer
For being a car that’s 32 years old it’s pretty modern looking imagine having this in 1992 and a lot of cars still had that 1980s box design this a pretty futuristic car for coming out in 1992. It looks more like a 1996 or a 1998.
