I am 16 years old ,and dance cover creater so i need to work hard ,i do dancing on different categories belly dance, contemporary,kpop,hipop,break ,then our indian traditional dance form bharananatyam ,so i saw on google that some peoples mild scoliosis will get worse while dancing ,my dream is to be a preffossional dancer,so did it affect on my career?my right side of waist is concave and left side is convex, and when i was young i used to do belly dance only focusing on my right side ,and i used to fo butterfly exercise only on right side ,i was a kid so stupid me thinks that 'if i made my right side flexible the other side will automatically be flexible ' can i dance ?? 😢 Because of i am teen is it will be a problem 🤔 Can u plz reply 😭
You can definitely dance!! You might just have to use your yoga or other exercise to bring in some strengthening! Also if you know one side is more flexible than the other focus on the one that is not flexible! Movement is great for scoliosis so keep up with what you’re doing ☺️
