    I have dextroscoliosis and was a side sleeper for so long and definitely learned sleeping on the back because it really lessens the back pain.

    i’m in distress and pain. i have constant pain in my head eye and body. my scoliosis just a few months ago got diagnosed at 17 years old and i can’t sleep. every night i have so much trouble because my pillows are flat completely. i can’t afford new pillows right now and it’s so annoying. my flat pillows are giving me no support for my neck so now i am in pain everyday. my upper back on both side and down my arms are so sore to the point where i can barely poke on it. i’m so sad and i hate living like this.

      I'm sorry love you're going through this. If you have any old shirts or big towels, try stuffing it under your pillow ❤. Hope this helps and God bless you

      I'm so sorry to hear that you're in pain. I really feel for you as everything will just feel worse when you don't get a good night's sleep. Maybe try stacking some towels or even folded clothes if you can't buy a better pillow?

      @ikozyjewel915 Take a pillowcase and put clothes or something soft inside to turn it into something similar to a pillow.

    which side should i sleep on while having dextroscoliosis? and could i sleep on my stomach or no? i dont really have any back pain while sleeping but the position i sleep in is very imporant to me because i dont want to make my scoliosis worse, but i also need much comfort to sleep peacefully

      is your ribcage shifted compared to your hips? Do you feel discomfort?

    So it means if i have a major thoracic curve with S curve, im supposed to sleep on my left? Sorry im a bit confused

      Right thoracic? Yes sleep on the left unless you also have a significant lumbar curve!

      that depends where your curve is and how severe it is.

      convex to the right? No lumbar curve? hips centered? Then yes on the left.

      I‘m so sorry to hear you’re in pain. If you sit a lot try taking more break where you get up and move around. Also just adding a few stretches into your routine can make a difference!

      This really depends on how severe it is and the individual case.
